I think it's not even so much the power creep as it is the complexity creep in particular that's killing Feh. Like, every skill is now actually a dozen skills rolled into one. Even specials have started stacking all kinds of different effects. Nobody is any longer able to keep track how all these skills interact in any given matchup. Your 99x4 doing zero actual damage is bad enough, but it's infinitely worse when you have no fucking idea what's causing it nor what you could do differently to get a better outcome next time (other than throwing the most recent cancer unit at the problem and praying for it to just werk).

I had a slight dream of FE Awakening get a remake and the Future's Past DLC was going to be a whole other new game featuring Risen King Chrom with Lucina and the children of the brink. In fact, guess what the DLC title was called. It spanned 13 chapters plus a prologue.oh and there were new DLC einherjars based on characters from Fates and 3H and ironically enough Engage wasn't there.
