Bruh just told you why. I found it to be a waste since the prices are inflated and you stop noticing the kills you get, since eventually the milestones are either so far apart or you get a hale's own. With a KS weapon that's much cheaper, you don't get those issues.

I have no issue with you using a shogun man, that'd be stupid, I'm just trying to give you some advice. I used to own dozens of stranges worth hundreds of dollars, but then I realized there was no real point to them since the milestones stopped happening, I stopped caring about how many numbers were on them because it was essentially meaningless, and nobody else cares about how high your stranges are either since they just assume they're farmed if they're high.

You can always reset the kill counts to start receiving the milestone dopamine again, but at that point, why not just use a killstreak version?

reminder valve did this through casual.
this is the result of 20 years of the gaming industry pushing "accesibility" and thinking server browsers are a thing of the past.

So much of the tech industry has appealed to the dumbest computer illiterate guy, replacing the server browser with big "Play now" buttons, replacing TeamSpeak and Mumble with discord servers that only require clicking a link to join... they removed so much friction from the process that the regular guy will barely ever progress from being computer illiterate, and being computer illiterate is the normal for younger people now

Of course we are lucky that valve still has the server browser in TF2 and CS2, but its hidden away in CS2 and its in the bottom of a list with like 5-6 different other "play" buttons in TF2. And even then, the server browser is so shit to use nowadays with only a tiny minority of the TF2 servers being vanilla, and even less so being "honest" vanilla servers that dont fake their ping or do scummy shit like that.
