Makes sense that a boss level character can’t be taken down by only 1 SDU member. But having Nozomi heal Kyoshika do damage and Shouma defend is I suppose just the right balance to overcome her. I know different writers and all but it feels a bit strange that essentially maxed out Takumi from the end of 2nd scenario was not able to take down V’exhness. He did the same thing he did there absorbing everyone, but I don’t exactly remember how hard he was hitting for by the end 20 damage or so? I guess that’s not enough to cover it after all even shooting his big nuke with no heals. Vexh route was Kodaka so same writer for there and 2nd scenario when it comes to those details

I don't blame people for preferring Gaku/Kurara a lot either, since the whole 'Prince(ess) and the Pauper' dynamic is appealing. Especially with it being given more credence just from how hard they end up feeling guilty for each other's deaths at a certain branch (though you can also just describe that as simply being survivors guilt)
I just think it feels like people don't really acknowledge the interesting stuff going on with how much she constantly gets on Takumi's back for being 'pervy' with Nozomi. I believe it's in her section of the romance route, but there's a line which makes it clear she sees Nozomi as being way more attractive to her, so she can't get why Takumi would find her pretty. That made me immediately recontextualize a lot of the shit she was saying as her wishing he was doing all of that to her.
