I was looking forward to this thing, and it’s when I reached the endgame that I was reminded why I, too, don’t play JRPGs much; the grind is INSANE.

What do you mean none of the material I grinded so far isn’t enough? What do you mean I have to battle invasive monsters a billion more times than I already did to get their material, which has a 50% chance of NOT dropping? What do you mean Elder Dragon spawns are random???? What do you fucking mean that Malzeno, Arkveld, and Rathalos only spawn inside dens???? I have over 100 hours, but I’m somehow not even close to being done, because I need to craft every armor and weapon and I’m now running short on weapon and armor spheres.

I did now a few runs and all of them had some bullshit. I eventually started to use the drops since I couldn't control things like Guardian Barney to waddle into the fight either and honestly I hate Arkveld. I used focus mode for two seconds when jumping from the Seikret thanks to muscle memory but whatever the whole two minutes there are a failure as I get knocked down from the ledge anyway. With focus mode I could have gotten some more hits through, focus strike for weakpoints and blue wounds but my point was only that focus mode for positioning itself isn't really important on DBs https://youtu.be/GecoFudtxEQ

once you have to consider tempered/AT hitzones and uptimes then i don't think that mind's eye advice holds true

not when you use fertilizers/boosters. i've been making it a habit to farm dung/supersized dung always. shroom germs are also easy to come by if you free hunt in deserted isle. the main problem comes from bizzy beas for boosting honey production. they are very expensive. looking for advice for that from any veterans.

citron is dead. eden is the only emulator thats being actively worked on afaik. and ryujinx/ryubing still has working servers for gu. so just stick to it since it doesn't require rooms.

at first everyone is happy they can grill meat faster longer then they panic and make it your problem again

Omega Planetes solo is kicking my ass, but it's nowhere near as hard as doing Behemoth Solo was. I can actually see an end in sight, I just need to be more consistent with avoiding damage(mostly the laser sweep, I probably just need to switch to hitting its legs when I have enmity so I can actually react to it), and just need to figure out how to deal with Nerscylla. Behemoth was making me question my sanity daily.
