Araya is referring to herself with the candy line, because she talks about moments in time and experiencing them while saying they all had their meaning.
And, more importantly, talking about how her and Ryoshu are together on every possible *path* while switching through time and living those time periods simultaneously.
Obviously Ryoshu is trying to lobotomize herself, but that isn't the only thing Araya is talking about. Especially when Araya's mere presence caused time and space to fold and made the future occur in the present from Dante's POV.
