Fave feels like the observed tendency for memes/trends to become shorter and shorter lived is no longer applicable in the same ways, like we hit an event horizon or something. Now there are more "community-based" memes that do not leave tiktok, or a fandom, or wherever, and only last for a few days or weeks, but just as much there are these giant phenomenon memes like shartjaks that are barely even memes anymore. The stuff that does become broadly known like 67 manages to stick around for a while

I think the most likely explanation is that Ralsei was "programmed" (in-universe, obviously all of them are programmed from a Doylistic standpoint) to do certain tasks as part of his role. "Make cakes for the other two heroes" would be one of his set tasks. Since it's specifically cakes and specifically for the others, he therefore sees eating cakes himself as something outside of his designated duties. I'm probably wrong about the specifics, but I think the general idea is that he's rigidly sticking to his support role's assigned tasks and interprets them in an autistic way at his own expense.

It's interesting to consider that Swatch's shirt colors represent an actual tool to be used as a service while Berdly's is a pin of his own face (or something similarly self-absorbed I'd assume), they're dynamic could've been really interesting to explore and I wonder if he would've projected a fatherly role onto him like he does with Queen. Although honestly I don't think such a relationship would serve him as well as Susie/Gerson since judging by how Chapter 2 ended he seems to grow more from cooperating with peers than mentors
