Newer player here. I initially started because of my friend and my first two desired units were Lynae and Chisa. I just got Lynae the other day.
I'm currently in Septimont on Iuno's quest and though I have enjoyed every trial resonator up to this point, I really like Changli and Lupa and aim to get them too. What other units work well with these units, particularly 4*?

Lupa works well with a good 5star dps + Mortefi if you want a 4star there. In such a team the 5star is preferably Galbrena. Changli can fit on the same team replacing Mortefi and the other 5star dps becomes a bit more flexible then, could be Aemeath for example.

My main issue is more that if you get any buff other than the CD/CR one you may as well restart the runs until it pops up because it's going to be slow and miserable otherwise. I just reroll if I don't see it at this point.
>Erosion/Frazzle does basically nothing to significantly improve your damage even when using characters that can stack it until right near the end, and even then it's not always doing crazy damage to Scar.

Meanwhile you could originally get Mortefi to do broken stuff like this. It's not even close to possible anymore.

>Tune Rupture/Break is completely worthless because it takes an eternity to reach it for a single second of a damage buff.

"Can this build kill the pre-Scar boss in two seconds" determines if it's even fun at all because if it can't do that then Scar is going to be miserable. That entire mode should be about getting as broken as possible as quickly as possible and having fun seeing ridiculous effects or funny numbers, not tying yourself to specific and luck-based strategies.

Since they're all supports, they tend to be redundant with 4*. You can make the standard 5* Calcharo and Encore work until you have better DPS options though.

Chisa's good with any negative status DPS besides Zani:

Lynae works with anyone, but she prefers tune/liberation DPS:

Reminder to tell them to release Echo Set EARLIER rather than on Hiyuki's patch, day 1 farming is not fun. Tell them to rework Transducer and make it more accessible, the transducers are hardwired to give you the same stats and only change numbers for whatever reason. It's not a game anymore, a lot of walking an black screens, boring "interactive" cutscenes that tell you to press stuff but they still play if you don't. Boss fights that don't do damage and if you go out of your way and try to get killed it just leaves you at 1 hp. All boss fights are just an excuse to give you trial rover + trial of whatever shit is on current banner so maybe you fall for it and spend. You can't even use the team you spent on and built to fast forward through it
Also need a skip button for liberations because 30 seconds rotations are 45 seconds real time because of liberations, genshin combat is more interactive at this point

Hiyuki is a Glacio Chafe Main Dps, currently you need Chisa and Lynae for her to work. Denia is Fusion burst/Tune strain sub dps, which is good for Aemeath in Fusion Burst team and Luuk in Tune team.
