Lyn is probably the strongest star character but that's less to do with Lyn being very good and more to do with star just lacking good DPS options. Lyn has a lot going on in terms of offensive and supportive capabilities but like... honestly to me she's a green bunny. Bunnies are very good obviously, but she's like 90% as good as a bunny, but green.

Personally I'd rather see the other characters coming out to see if they have more interesting kits. You're definitely not losing out if you go for Lyn and she's a great addition to your roster. But man, I just can't view her as anything else other than "this character I already have but recoloured so she does a different type of damage" and I guess that's biasing my opinion a little

While grinding operations I've noticed that I've never actually seen Rosaria usefully survive a situation because of her passive. I'm pretty sure every boss has some multihit bullshit aoe that instantly gets past it. She's always the first to die and it's clearly gone before the halfway point of the fight. There's no way to reliably make use of it in pve which is really disappointing. So much of what made rosaria rosaria from cs isn't here.

Lyn crit damage buff means that she's scaling better at the late game where you got decent amount of crit chance to take advantage of the crit damage. Bell can use the advantage of leap stacks with her ult giving extra damage at max stacks. Frankly the issue rn is there's no striker arcana that give striker class an edge over the other classes and all the star attacker is pretty mid. Bell is hybrid debuffer and Roberta needs to get cleaved in the first place.

Because she's AS good as some of the best units. So if you already have a stacked roster, you're kinda just gilding the lily. You can only use a team of 4 at a time after all, so if you have a good team going where are you putting her?

Weirdly enough, you also need a FILLED roster for her to reach her true potential. If you don't have enough star/green characters then her potential drops even though she's better than any of them. The guy who only rolls for meta might not have enough green losers to make a really good green team with her as a core, but the guy who just spends standard banner tickets might find her way more viable.

Which puts Lyn in an absolutely bizarre position where she's basically meta but not good for meta chasers who have alternatives that are equally as viable. She's a meta character for people who don't have a meta character yet.
