also, sand duper move is complete, new duper is operational using hobo's end portal
i've also made it possible to run it with a single person, but the process is quite involved. anyone interested in details, hit me up.

in the meantime, im gonna go ahead and do some duping runs, make sure there's at least a few shulkers of each powder/concrete available at the storage, so people with small needs can just go grab some.
for anyone wanting large amounts, ill create a book with instructions so you can run the machine.

the duper is absolutely capable of blowing itself up if misused. and also everything around it. aside from the sand/concrete, it also dupes like 12 tnt/sec, so that would be a pretty big boom.

also, since it creates ~150k concrete per hour, its capable of lagging the shit out of the server, possibly also crashing it, if its left running without the items being collected or disposed. items take 5 mins to despawn, so from a 150k/hr duper, you could end up with more than 10k items just sitting around waiting for the despawn timer

the storage at least should be pretty resilient to abuse, but still, it'd be better not to test that if possible.

anyway, yes, instruction books incoming. and don't worry, operating with 2 players is pretty simple, and pretty unlikely to result in explosions or server crashes.

operating with 1 player is much more involved, and actually can result in explosions or server crashes, but still not rocket science. just takes longer and requires a couple round trips to the end and the duper to do all the steps in the right order.

new one is about 4 times faster, and has a kickass storage system to boot. it compacts emeralds and redstone to blocks and actually has a proper totem sorter

using it is a bit more complicated than the old one, it makes use of ye olde "hit the armor stand with a sweep sword trick", but i hope most people will manage. those who don't will get to enjoy the company of vexes :)

overall, i think the extra complication is totally worth it, since the old one was so fucking slow that using it was excruciating, and nobody ever did except to get the absolute minimum amounts of emeralds or totems they needed
the new one is about as fast for redstone as the witch farm, and unlike the witch farm, it works independent of mob caps

in case its not obvious, you don't wanna try going through that particular portal.

and finally, the nether side, where the aforementioned ravager lava'ing takes place. if anyone ever wants to get their hands on some ravages for some project, taking the lava out and adding some rails will make it quite easy. you know, after you kill the evokers that are riding the ravagers

should produce about 500k items/hour, in ideal conditions
and it will undoubtedly necessitate a major upgrade of the current netherside storage, incl. autocrafters, but that will happen after its operational

ps: for those who want dark prismarine, be aware there are no squid farms on the server (yet), but there is a wither rose farm at the end. south-east, visible on the webmap. you should start afking there :)

guardian storage coming along, now i just need to figure out dark prismarine autocrafters. and by "figure out", what i actually mean ofc is "find a decent design on the discords"
worst thing is, even with all this, i doubt it'll keep up with the farm. most of the right side in picrel is sea lantern autocrafters, and if my math is right, it will only handle like half the crystals or so.
but im constrained by the 3x3 chunk grid that the loader on top of the farm gives me, and also how annoying it is to transport items without water, so some sacrifices need to be made.

if its premium only, any griefer that gets banned has to pay up to enter again, which they won't do.

aside from that, the major issue is probably the need to balance cost and tech skills required.
the server can probably be run for 20-40 bucks/month, if you are using a raw vps. 3-4 dedicated vcores, 16+gb ram, a couple tb ssd. but that requires linux/tech skills.
on the flipside, if you go to a managed mc server provider, you'd need to pay a lot more for equivalent perf, but everything is handled for you.

cyber had a custom written ban plugin (a small part of which was written by cyberbilly) and authentication system. Its why premium accounts would auto register, UUIDs wouldn't be converted to cracked (ensuring compatibility with plugins and no risk of data corruption), and a bunch of other shit. you can play mc for free (cracked) but you can't play with it on a server that has online-mode on on its settings. this means they will require mojang authentication prior to connection. the solution is to play on cracked servers only, see dolacraft or the upcoming server we're setting up for anons to play in.

to play mc for free download polymc from the official site and download any version you wanna play with.
