Be my financial advisor anon, that $10 devastated me.
Actually it was $25 for the founder pack.
>>
>>
>>
>>
I'd spend money too if it wasn't a complete scam.
20 bucks would get me 2 pairs of shoes you can't even recolor. Knowing me I'd just buy a pair and completely regret it the next week while they stay unused the rest of the game.
and if I didn't spend any free svbucks on some shit I would've been able to afford the season pass
>>
>>
>>2135602
Yeah I like the red and black vans in the shop but $9 for a pair of e-shoes is too much for even me. I'm down to put like $20 in the game a season if there's cool stuff to buy but they really try hard to not get people's money with the wack shit they cook up and the retarded prices on a lot of it.
Despite a lot of frankly ridiculous problems with the game I enjoy it a lot, even the city isn't QUITE as bad as people make it out to be in my opinion. I just want the game to last until they implement create-a-park and some other stuff so cracked clients and private servers have a good base to work with. I don't have hobbies that cost much or really any money, even the games I play are mostly old shit or cheap indies and I even stopped eating fast food recently. $25 for a game I've spent 250 hours in already is really not anything I'd spend a second thinking about without a bitch in my ear telling me it's nasty.
>>2135613
Totally fair and there really aren't a lot of compelling reasons to, with the free SVB they've given out and very slim selection of decent stuff to spend it on. No tricks or skateable areas behind paywalls means it's a pretty nice free to play game. In my opinion.
>>
>>2135620
>No tricks or skateable areas behind paywalls means it's a pretty nice free to play game
that's fair and shouldn't be taken for granted with the way game development is going.
but, i'd much rather spend $10 on a new area than on an outfit i can't change the colors on.
>>
>>2135629
Unfortunately that's just not an option we're offered or would ever be offered in the current state of the game industry. Just look at Battlefield 6 for what a "normally released" game looks like from EA anymore. $70 base cost, paid DLC, paid battlepass seasons, separate Battlefield Pro subscription, then on to Battlefield 7 in a couple years. All while not having the content a standard Battlefield game should have at launch among all the other modern game problems. I'll honestly take what we have for skate.
>>
>>
>>2135637
true. they didn't even bother to model a fucking santa hat and they still charge for it.
the adidas fit seemed different at the start, but nope. They release a brandless green tracksuit using the same model but in a different color, and now the same tracksuit but christmas themed. it's fucking embarrassing

NTA but I get ridiculous stutters in the preview very often. They finally got rid of stutters in the export, for me at least, but the quality with exporting is poor in other ways.

45 minutes of travelling from one manhole to the next in the hopes it'll eventually put me on the roof with the inflatable drop item, still haven't rolled that spawn (but have gotten several other spawns 5+ times)

NTA, I honestly did think most of the slop in the game was just from corporate retards that can't into art and skating but the "hear speak see" deck is kinda damning. EA allegedly also has some sort of directive or mandate basically forcing developers to use AI.
>>
>>2142867
They probably do use AI to get inspired. It's the future it's only natural, we can't stop it. But the artwork does not seem like just a mindless copy paste despite people acting like it is.
>pic
there are legit many art styles like that one. Many people now just point at any pixel that looks out of place and scream AI. Not everything needs to be perfect, there are mistakes and there are choices. Sometimes artists choose to keep the mistakes.
While I won't defend every board and even deny the use of AI, I don't think it is having as much impact as people think

i wish i could get the same dithering effect in davinci resolve as the old videos, but since switching from openshot i haven't been able to get a good replacement effect which sucks. i really liked the dot dithering and i'm not smart enough to use the actual filter crafter thing in davinci to do what i want
also i should really re-pass those old ones to 24fps instead of 60fps lol, looks better

tailslide to tailslide in the community park. the ledge isn't long enough to count a grind, not to mention the fact you're not given enough time to actually input the shifty move to put your guy into a tailside. he automatically pulls into a boardslide.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>2148386
I would have recorded it the first time, but the recording does the thing from the challenge when it highlights the ledge and makes it ugly.
Exactly what I did is before I did the fliptrick, I did a revert, its still a hardflip, and then allows your thumbstick to be already near where it has to be, and remember, when you land the first grind properly, just input a normal ollie, because youre already in position, any adjustment will move you and land in a different grind
>>
>>
>>
>>

The wallrides can be done on the Mcorp tower mega ramp but for some reason you have to slalom all the way down and when you go off the ramp land on a nearby rooftop in spread eagle and a lot of slam landings counted but some didn't so try to do the rolling landing where you end up on your feet
>>
>>
>>
>>
Recently got suggested some doomer videos from some faggots on youtube and clicked on em just because I'm stupidly curious what normalfaggots are saying, and apparently there are at least 2 channels on youtube dedicated to generating and reading 10-20 minute long LLM doomerism scripts about the game like 3 days a week. Like the game has hella problems for sure but jesus christ lmao. You just tell that retard nigger Sneakerdogg has never even heard 30% of the words and terms generated in these scripts.
>>
>>
>>2149487
I know. I tried that big megaramp down the side of the building that has you wallride down the windows, I tried the challenge that has you ride down the side of a brick building, and I tried the drop-in down the side of that building with the mega ramp pool on it in the NE of the map. none of them worked.
I managed to get it by doing what I suggested earlier; bombing down a hill and launching off a kicker onto a long stretch of flat wall just west of the Vault plaza.
>>
>>2149504
oh and I also had my daily challenge glitch, the 'two 180 flips in a sequence'. I did the challenge, got the alert for completion, and then went into the menu to find it was still at 0/5 and now none of the ones I do count. tried resetting the game, still glitched. so I can't claim my daily objective.

just noticed the firecracker outfit has kneepads over long trousers. gives me hope they'll add regular versions of them, or even better make pads an accessory separate from your pants. I want elbow pads too. and the option to put stickers on helmets whilst we're at it
>>
>>2149534
I'm sure they'll add pants+pads items eventually but I'm pessimistic they'll add pads as a separate slot/layer you can add to any pants. Not even just from the greedy perspective but also from a "these retards at Full Circle can barely wipe their own asses" point of view.

>>
>>
>>2149539
once you factor in the 20+ second respawn (along with having to rely on the game to decide whether to let you roll out or slam on the roof top) means my way was significantly easier. it legit took about 10s for each wallride, from respawn to respawn.
>>
>>
>>
>>2149007
not any of those anons - but its relatively simple honestly. you just have to lift the board up at the end a little bit. the tricky part for me is executing hardflips honestly, since the input feels so tight and i always end up doing 360 hardflips instead (also just regular ollie off the ledge is hard because the right/left sensitivity of kick/heelflip is so tight too)
i was re-encoding the video and went to take a nap but im awake now and the video finished so herei know my name is shown in the vid but im already in the steam group

damn...
i held on through private testing all the way until finally getting keyframes. which turned out to be pretty awful and coincided with even more replay bugs - on top of the fact the game is now only getting utterly trash seasonal events and MTX cancer. i was expecting the city to constantly be improving and expanding like it was in early testing. but seems like they are just settling on this temporary gimmick update style now, so I won't be back.

Its just going to be this every 3 months:
>skate pass
>1 or 2 seasonal events
>new trick
>new game mode
>new skateable areas
>QoL changes
>bugfixes
>new bugs
Game desperately needs content, they may have to redo all the missions, I know some of the new handplant missions showed what appeared to be a ghost mimicking the tricks so possibly they're going to make the NPCs actually appear in game.
Its wild that even something like steep and riders republic does better for content despite being soulless in other ways.

Highly doubt the game will have the changes it needs, it's the same since the closed beta. Even the "new" tricks are the same they tested.
Their community management, especially on steam, gives away not only that but also that they don't really give a fuck.
Even when the devs were more approachable in the closed beta days you could see this, which is really unfortunate. The whole loop you mentioned will be there until the game dies, and internals says it will be soon, probably before the new road map hits.

It's kinda sad seeing people defend it as "bro it's only beta it's still only v0.5 they're still working on it" as if it hasn't been in development for nearly 5 years already, half of which was closed alpha stuff and seeing how much stuff is still missing.
How does your online-focused game still not even have any kind of matching system for group challenges or guild/team system? It's genuinely insane.
I wish it was good but it just feels like it's never going to get there.

i'd play session more if i had a way to 'live-cam' easier like how this game does. one of the main things that pissed me off recently about this game is the removal of the ability to change fov while footage is playing. you used to be able to do that, now you have to pause to change zoom. like what the fuck? why? bullshit and theyre probably trying to force people to interact with the keyframe system (which is... good i guess, but i prefer live editing)

I don't think they thought about that change at all honestly it was probably just collateral damage in the replay editor update. I agree it was nice to be able to change cameras while playing back with that, it actually made for some pretty nice, simple, fast clips if you used it well. Follow cam then switch to tripod at the end of a line going down a gap or something, etc.
I've been playing here and there still but most of the time when I do a cool trick I'll just watch it back once then close the replay editor instead of going through the whole song and dance. Also had some cool ideas for tricks that I can't quite execute.. mostly skill issue though if I'm being honest I think.

impervatek kind of reminds me of this one part of the story in this thing:
https://www.sbnation.com/a/17776-football
where humanity has developed basically little machines that constantly make sure nobody dies and they also don't explain it in this story because how can you explain machines that make you not die? but either way it's done in a cool way in this story so i don't really care. i think the slight simiarity with how skate 4 does it is kinda funny, with how dogshit this particular game release's universe is. (which is to say nigh nonexistant)
>>2194627
i'm playing less and less, but i still get the itch to hop on and do some cool trix because it just feels good still. i'm trying to explore different mechanical interactions to sort of hone in a 'look' for some things, like slightly holding the triggers to make it look like crouching down a little then back up again without doing a manual, then actually doing the trick. just small little things here and there that make it visually more interesting/fluid/naturalalso loading up davinci resolve every time i want to play skate is a whole fucking process so i usually dont even bother with getting around to that. same with obs (have to launch OBS and switch the scene before i start the game at all for audio to record)

I need to stop tricking myself into thinking deleting a keyframe is ever a good idea. I can't even understand what it tries to do when I do that, it like corrupts the clip and makes it disobey keyframes around that point in really weird ways, kinda acts like the keyfame is still there, kinda doesn't. Fascinating to be honest.

Line challenges absolutely destroyed the average player's mind. I've seen so many complaints about how "hard" they are and that they can't get off their board during (which would defeat the entire point).
I'm glad in a way because it has fully exposed a large portion of the playerbase as just straight up not playing the game, but it's also depressing.

you guys played the Skate Style demo? solo dev but its got potential. already has better trannys and lips than Session. plays like Session controls but with Skate's accessibility and ease of getting into.
has a animation editor to create your own steez.
you can actually bluntstall kickflip out nicer than all the other skate games, and i love how letting go of grind input exits you out smoothly without popping, probably done even better than skate. keyframes work better too, but the replay editor is scuffed right now i couldn't even get trimming to work.
other than that i mean yeah it's just another jank amateur project that will never get finished, but a lot better than i was expecting for something that came outta nowhere.

The problem with every Skate-like is that they completely abandon the vert side of things. I have enough choices if I want street skating, but Skate is the only one that lets me do any kind of vert and that fucking sucks. I don't expect much different here.
>>
>>2229050
It looks cool, I'll keep an eye on it. I've got really high standards for animations in skate games and many of the ones I've seen in this game look kinda bad. Animation editor is a neat and novel idea but I sure as fuck am not a professional animator, and I think it's something that really pushes it more into the "simulator" territory instead of "game". Don't get me wrong I put a few hundred hours into SXL and Session but I just prefer something that flows like skate period anymore. I could see a bunch of nice animation and map packs eventually winning me over though.

>spring update
What do you mean? The spring event? Seasonal events are nothingburgers, a handful of lame cosmetics (mostly stickers and profile icons/banners) that you have to grind lame challenges at lame parks for. The next actual game update will be March 10th for season 3 but there's no info on that yet, just the roadmap from early access launch where there's a few things listed under "season 3 and beyond" which most people assume the "and beyond" is doing the heavy lifting for.

Never even heard of it before. It's nice to see more games of SKATE (I miss the old Berrics) and the obstacles are likely needed to keep it fresh.
One of the biggest disappointments of this game is that they didn't even put a SKATE mode in and even if they did it won't be for months or years.
>>
>>2232756
It's also entirely Mike Mo's idea and execution, I enjoy supporting skater owned endeavors.
Anyway yeah not including a SKATE mode in the game is such a retarded choice, you can tell it's all corporate faggots making the decisions.
>>
>>
They're changing it so Tix don't rollover from one season to another.. they had to lock the subreddit down lol. It is kinda wack but I don't really think it's THAT big of a deal, it's piss easy to get enough for anything you want (mostly thanks to how shit the passes are). Everyone's like "omg I have 30k Tix this sucks" but it's like yeah you have 30k extra after you got everything you want, you'll have 30k extra after you get everything you want next season too. Still a stupid change to be making when they really need to be scoring some wins in community sentiment. It's not like they let people keep that many from season 1 to 2 anyway, they could have left it as is.
>>
>>
>>
I feel like any other company would see this backlash at this low a playerbase and realize "ok this is bad let's revert this change" but you know full well they won't and they just continue to oddly listen only to the worst ideas.
>we have too much currency for the events!
>ok now you have less and its harder to get all the event items
>why does this item in the shop look the same as the one I can get for free
>ok we will remove the free item
Can they just focus on adding content, I get that they need to make money from cosmetics but I dunno man just make your fucking store not rotate, just display everything available and maybe have SOME items rotate if you really have to.
New players open this game and look at the store and see some of the worst most unappealing cosmetics and there's very few to pick from each day is a very bad look.
>>
>>2239889
maybe if the player base wasn't so fucking whiny and stupid this wouldn't be an issue. I swear this game has the whiniest fucking community I've ever seen.
>>2235190
case in point, this challenge is super fucking easy if you have functioning eyes and a brain.
The devs literally need to cater to the lowest common denominator because most of the players cant even tie their fucking shoes.

sure did. theyve been doing it for the seasonal challenges for months, so why not the event challenges too?
the seasonal ones theyve chosen to repeat are incredibly telling too. slightly difficult or otherwise a pain to reach.
>>
When I checked the Full Circle careers page a few months ago they had like 6 positions listed, and a few of them seemed kinda long-term thinking like internships that wouldn't start until second half of 2026 and stuff. Now there's zero job openings lol. Could be reading into nothing though maybe there were a bunch that filled last week. I know all of us already joke (or are completely serious) about it being maintenance mode but I think they really are starting to make cuts and stuff. Unless they have something beyond the scope of what we've seen for season 1 or 2 to even just show us I really do think this game is getting axed kinda soon. I honestly did think they'd at least see it through a couple years.
Again I really hope some autistic wizards are working hard behind the scenes. I don't know dick about cracks and server emulation but I may at least figure out packet logging to have just in case there's nobody doing it now and someone could use it later.

>Isle of Grom
Has some decent spots but the timed exclusivity and ripchip access is really wild
>Dark
Don't care about circus tricks personally
>Updated Bonelesses
Actually kinda nice
>Speedlines
Who gives a fuck what a retarded thing to waste time on
>Tattoos
Don't really care, it is interesting they say you can move and rotate them unlike board stickers...

Pretty basic feature, would be nice if there were actually decent clothes etc in the game
>BRANDS in skatepass
Don't really care
>BRANDS
Don't really care
>More replay editor effects
Okay I guess, nice to have things in the game but main thing is fix the fucking stuttering
>Seasonal Events (supposedly improved)
Not holding my breath
>Meetups game mode
Sounds like parasocial retard bullshit
>Spot Battle and SKATE
I really don't care about stick waggling competitions but it's good to have for people not into skate sandboxes, pretty much required for the game to be successful
>Matchmaking

I wonder if this is Brickswich and by new area they just mean they're finally giving it challenges and loot boxes. Whatever happened to teasing Brickswich in season 2 lmao

Cool, I'm not really that excited but they're neat

Stick waggling competitions!

Don't really care personally but some people do so that's cool, should be piss easy to implement too so why the wait?

Wait a second, what the fuck happened to player created parks? It was in their early roadmap for season 3 and everyone even theorized the community parks would turn into places where they'd showcase some of people's creations, it all sounded pretty cool. Now it's just a footnote with no ETA and you have to pay to access new (but actually old) areas? Are they trying to kill the game before the end of the year?
>>
>>2251200
>It was in their early roadmap for season 3
It was in their early roadmap for season 3 **"& Beyond"**.
Like I said when I pointed out the lack of job postings for Full Circle, I really think the game is getting quietly shut down for real. I think them moving shit from being expected somewhat soon on the roadmap to being only "considered" and outright cutting things like the "open world collection" is pretty damning. The only new areas we have to expect for this entire year are tutorial island with like 1 extra halfpipe and "an indoor area".
>>
>>2251207
LinkedIn shows their studio's been shrinking, that's not really what you'd expect from a company with a game in early access supposedly ramping up for a full launch. I'm starting to agree, this shit is getting killed off soon unless something crazy happens and they manage to get their player counts up. I'm sure locking new areas behind paywalls will help with that.
>>
>>2251212
>this shit is getting killed off soon
I'd welcome it at this point.
It was nice to get back to that classic Skate gameplay for a few weeks but after 5ish years of development we're not even anywhere near feature-level with a 20 year old game.
Just hit me with the EoS announcement and let me sleep.
>>
>>2251212
>half bake a game, release it as 'early access'
>99% of people just see it as a full v1.0 release anyway, play it, get bored of the 'early access' levels of content, and move on

this is why 'early access' is such a retard move. has it EVER benefitted a game in any way?

i was so confused at the beginning when you couldn't build in community parks (actually build, not just put down small props) and it turned out to be to be just AI generated parks.
there is not much to say except for, what a bunch of disgusting retards. one of the few games i was looking forward to and it ended up like this.
it was fun while it lasted lads.

Finally got around with tinkering with RPCS3 settings to make Skate 2 playable. Still not great but not compounding with natural Skate 2 jank to make me rage anymore. Anyways Skate 2 is like a hole in my memory for some reason, I barely remember any of it except for how clunky the off board movement and a couple other things are, and The Res (is that the name of the beginning district?) which I always disliked.
Fucking Old Town in this game is insane. Like so dense with such fun looking little spots and dope plazas and other banger spots. Love the architecture and stuff too, just a great district. Just heading to downtown to (re)scope out, stopped at Lighthouse Skatepark and I gotta say it too is really sick. Skate 2 chads were right all along the city in this game is amazing I need this shit in nuskate badly.
Sorry for the gay blog but figured the thread could use a tiny bit of positivity and maybe it pushes someone else to revisit one of the old games. I guess to relate it to the thread more, what spots from the series would you hope they choose to include with "Legacy Skate 1-3 Spots"?
>>
>>
>>
>>2252390
Legacy Skate 1-3 Spots was added to their "On the radar" for goodboy points, they made that whole section to pretend they're listening to the community.
Shut the game down and there might actually be a chance for ports to come along, while this game lives they have no reason to port superior games.
>>
>>2252390
I always preferred the city of Skate 1 compared to 2; 2 does have more variety with the mountain and waterfront areas, though The Res was always too blocky and confusing for me (I just remember big concrete blocks with hundreds of stairs) and some of the replacements (Boneyard over the Gallery/Regs area) never felt as good.
Skate 3's maps are fiiiiiiine for the most part but splitting them up always annoyed me. Just causes a worse flow to the game.
The only real "Legacy" spot (which will never happen because this game is EoS in 2 months tops) I want is Skate 1's Community Center, the absolute GOAT, which would be easy because it was already in a previous playtest as the tutorial area lmao
>>
>>2252625
Yeah I can't really play to enjoy them much because they run pretty poorly on mine still as well, I was only able to get it to a barely tolerable place so I can refresh myself on 2's city.
>>2252697
They really did good with that sort of thing in the 2nd game. Had a funny moment in Old Town when I rolled up to some fountain area.. thought to myself damn I wonder if you can somehow drain this and it's a skateable pool underneath then mid-thought I remembered that's exactly what you do. The knobs on rails and ledges all over the place are kind of annoying to deal with in my opinion but it feels kinda cool to come back to a few pools to drain.
>>2252819
Agree, anything in that column is best to consider "never ever", still curious to hear people's favorite locations from the series though.
>>2253035
Pretty much agree with this whole post. Like I said though I didn't have a good recollection of the Old Town district and think that one is actually really great, would be so sick in nuskate with wallies and (mostly) better physics in general.
Community Center is classic as fuck for sure.

Skate 2 is a funny one with this.
Sure, you spend most of the time dealing with security, breaking off skate stoppers, just a more general 90s underground vibe.
Then you get to the end and have to deal with Rob Dyrdek's "flarey" bullshit so you can make enough money to open a Monster Energy Drink™ skate park.
In the end, punk gives way to commercialism. True to life.

When they passed a query at DICE asking what random devs there thought about cosmetics and even the beaner janitor said the crop-tops were cute and they went with it instead of listening to normal people, I knew it would die quickly. When BF6 needed a speedup, the whole rented talent went there and FC only had one (1) good guy and a bunch of vibe-coding linkedin shitters progressing the game.
They had a big boom when they released (and tracked-back from 'full release' to 'early access') but the finances were really bad and they never got back from that. The pass did so bad that they still have (generated) free codes unused that they gave away to people that work with or for EA and subsidiaries lol
Pretty sure nothing Skate-related will ever see the light of the day again, and this is on Cuz and FC, not EA itself.
>>
>>2260384
>the whole rented talent went there and FC only had one (1) good guy and a bunch of vibe-coding linkedin shitters progressing the game.
That would certainly explain why we're 6 years in and the game still hasn't had a full release. For comparison, the prototypes for the original Skate started in 2005, and by 2010 Skate 3 was releasing, so it was 5 years for complete innovation and a full trilogy of games. This new team got 6 years to base a new game off of that blueprint and got nowhere. What the fuck? Are they exclusively hiring jeets or what?
>>
>>
>>2260576
This post >>2260642 is correct, Black Box was quite bigger than FC. Thing is, FC never invested in quality, and no, they did not hired pajeets. Their TL are retarded white womenand a tranny as the gameplay TL, at least the pun stands and tranny skating is the best of the current skate gamesand their juniors are just people vibe coding with AI assistance.
Thing is, FC is really retarded as a whole. They ignored every single feedback, including from QAs from other subsidiaries and - including from EA itself - about their decisions. That's why there's no grit, no aesthetics, nothing that resembles the previous entries. EA is essentially a loan shark, they will give you the money and a few rules for you to follow, and will ask you to pay it back. They don't care how. All the DEI and lootboxes is on Cuz and his retarded friends. But, like a loan shark, EA came by and will now break their legs and take over.
>>
>>
>>2260642
But Black Box was working on Skate and Need for Speed, no? While FC is exclusive to Skate, so unless we know the size of each Skate team it's not really a fair comparison.
>>2260667
How they didn't get veterans from the old games to be TLs is beyond me. And in my experience juniors vibe coding with AI are even worse than jeets, so I guess that explains a lot too.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>2260680
Pretty sure that's on the woman that looks like a pushed up dwarf, something Diea. She's the product manager and she's the one who pushed for the query I mentioned. But, Cuz is the face and said okay to that.
>>2260721
I'm not sure if that's correct (even before today's events) because a lot of people were only temporarily there and it really isn't a large studio.
Also, pretty funny to see that even in LinkedIn you see people trying to reasonably criticize the game to no avail or response. FC is super disconnected to how gaming works nowadays.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>2260857
I really don't know why they wouldn't give the old skate cities the "Gromstein Island" treatment. Let us go to the entire San Vanelona or Port Carverton maps with a bit of grind or skate.pass. I honestly wouldn't even mind if they did that model for those maps. Seems like an easy W for them too, don't have to spend the time designing maps from the ground up, everyone already loves them. I guess upper management at EA would kvetch at that because it would water down the potential milking of the series in the future.

They'll just shut the servers before even giving us a park editor, right?
>>
>>2262375
They won't ever do a park editor because that would imply private servers or (at least) an instance for each individual player. Not only you have several servers for each instance of San Van, you also have separate servers for the tutorial island and there are already servers for the Island of Grooming.
They keep saying that it is in discussion when they know very well it won't be possible, even if they reach the new low of just a thousand current players. And, IF they ever did that, it would be a paid service which is insanity for the quality of the game. Wanting to pay for maps, even custom ones, in this shit, is absolutely mental and I only see the most retarded of subhumans wanting to do so.
Their variant of Frostbite is just shit for online multiplayer and, again, this is on Full Circle.
>>

>>2262528
I know I just said it but man it'd be such a slam dunk for them to just give us the old maps. Kills me thinking how cool it'd be to go around those maps seeing a bunch of real people shredding all over, not to mention just classic old spots with different physics would make for a really fun experience. Trickle in one game's map over the next few seasons while they don't have shit else going on. I know it's not THAT simple but c'mon they have people on salary and modders do that kinda shit for free. See how many people stick around then.
