Gamers willingly gave up user made content for corporate structured game modes where the singular game mode is the game and there's nothing else outside of it, except maybe some sort of real life money gambling aspect. Gamers voted for this.

bots dont appreciate improvement and so they decided to put a focus on ripping you out of your own personal fun because they funnel more money with less servers online simple as

CS2 is very clearly made with the intention of being more streamlined and eSports oriented than earlier CS titles that were community driven.
The fact there's no usable server browser completely killed any attempt at keeping community servers. The only exception are services like Cyberchoke who mainly allow players to practice for competitive.

the problem with that is that this game functions when it wants to, you literally shoot blanks when you get too close to "pro players" this is a phony ass game that died 10 years ago when they got the idea to "renew" absolutely everything and the coffin got lowered when they pretended to improve the engine in anyway.
