I've lowered myself to just RPing with AI chatbots for the last few years, but want to RP with real people in a game.
I tried a bunch of MMORPG's, but all seemed to be ass. Sharding killed any in Guild Wars and Elder Scrolls Online. Don't want to pay $15 a month just to talk to other players in WoW, plus the housing seems it will make it way more cliquey.
I saw that there was a Rust World that was Game of Thrones as well as another Medieval focus, but both seem like they're long gone.
Don't see anything in social games like VRChat or Gary's Mod (Harry Potter RP was fun before warner bros shut it down).
Does everyone just RP on Discord now?
I will probably look at AI Dungeons release of a online platform when it launches, but nothing else comes at the top of my head.
Specifically looking for medieval, dark fantasy, or low fantasy, so GTA RP and Red Dead RP don't seem like they will scratch the itch, albeit that seems to be the only legit option.
Am I missing something?
