My Hero Ultra Rumble is a F2P battle royale game based off the My Hero Academia anime. It features various characters from the series (with more to be added), each with a unique playstyle and different costumes. Team up with other players or go in solo and try to become the champion!
The game is available on Steam, Playstation, XBOX, and Switch, with crossplay between all platforms.

I'm betting on this one to stay. Scrim players and enjoyers, have you noticed anyone using Twisted Fortune, S&S's special tuning or HSR on Red Shiggy? I kinda wanna get a proper Red Shiggy build instead of using the raid boss one but I don't want to pull the trigger on something with no track record.

But yea, I kinda think that way too and I was thinking that combo (Twisted, S&S) was this season's High-Speed Replenishment + Ability Manifest for the shigster, but again, no track record so I don't want to be the sucker to do it first. It's either that or the nuke build for both red and yellow shig or I stick with raid boss and the space hop + wall runner one for fun in ranked.

Seems this is the dominant thread.
The most important thing with Star, like any beamer, is to hit her alphas. They have a decent amount of travel time and the projectile isn't very large, so this may take some practice. On the bright side, she has a truckload of ammo and they recharge quickly, so you can afford to miss.
Her beta can be used not only to capture enemies for attack, but also to slow down pursuers if necessary. When using it offensively, I think it's best used at a distance. The closer you are to an enemy when they're caught in your pull, the easier it will be for them to trade damage with you. However, the move leaves you a bit open when trying to use it at a distance, and it can also be harder to aim since you can't change its angle after initiating it. For these reasons, I often prefer using my beta as a followup to my gamma, since it positions me in the air and the knockback positions the enemy a decent distance away from me. Even better if they're in the air, since I can predict their air wakeup and catch them in the beta. They won't be held in the center, they'll descend slowly to the ground, but it's easier to hit them than if they're roll spamming on the ground.
Against grounded opponents, her beta is more of a mid-range ambush tool. If the enemy's focus is already on you and they're ready to dodge, it might be tough to land alphas on them even while they're caught in your beta.
Another utility of her beta is that if an enemy is healing behind cover and it's too far for you to get there fast enough to interrupt them, you can use your beta to drag them out from behind the cover so you can interrupt their heal (whether by beaming them or forcing them to roll).

Her gamma is a pretty good movement tool, but it's unreliable offensively. It has a high tendency to whiff even if it reaches the enemy. This seems to happen primarily when the enemy is moving away from you - for example, an Asshaul during his alpha slide. Her gamma is best used on airborne enemies, unsuspecting enemies, and enemies who are locked into an animation/endlag that will make it less likely for your gamma to whiff. It's also a good close-range ambush opener, and you can usually even get an alpha off before the gamma.
Star's grounded melee is on the worse end of melees in the game, but her air melee is pretty good. The damage is mediocre, but it offers a significant amount of free mobility and it's an instant knockdown, so it can be used to interrupt a lot of things. Her air melee also makes it fairly easy to activate melee tunings.
Star's special action lets her live in the storm in the early phases, but its duration decreases over the course of the match. By Phase 7, it doesn't even last long enough to drink one potion.
At that point, her special action becomes less about negating the storm damage entirely, and more about resetting the 10-second storm sickness timer. In this way, you can still live in the storm to the extent you could in previous seasons, even in the later phases (although in the final phase, her SA expires so quickly that even a single use empties it completely).

The Star and Stripe mod someone made for MHUR last season actually has more of that sort of thing, although its special action is stupidly strong.

If you have the data, I'd suggest replacing Ibara with Nejire, replacing either Twice or Mirio with Rapidgo, and replacing Mic with Strike Bakugo and putting Strike Dabi where Strike Bakugo was.
That would give you more GP, more alpha damage, and more gamma damage.
It looks good, beyond that.

This x100. We're on the vigilantes arc, he's not even on a banner and he even got a major DPS buff that also works on his melee combos. When will he pay for his sins? The only other thing this r*pid can't do or abuse is reinforced revive, but he has crazy crowd control even if you're stuck in second gear, as you should be denied 5th gear/overdrive consistently versus good players using good characters.

Half right, red is indeed Willpower. The other one is Wall Runner, it's simply too much utility to pass up than can be used both offensively and defensively in conjunction with alpha/beta and most importantly, gamma. Acceleration is your only other good alternative choice, and while it is also viable, it's more of a 4fun choice to use in ranked. It can be used to mount slightly more offensive pressure with your melee as a tool to catch wake-ups versus characters with super armor, as you should beat them on frame 1 with it active and for certain high damage combos. But with the beta change and good special action + alpha/gamma tech usage, it's no longer necessary in order to do those crazy high damage combos, so it's just a speed boost.

You can, depending on where you are. The speed that the wall of the storm moves depends on where the new circle location is. If the new circle is on the side of the existing circle, then the opposite side wall of the storm has a lot more ground to cover in the same amount of time, so it moves faster.

I'm a giga Ochako enjoyer, even I think Yellow Ochako is broken now. Her getting the same buff as Yellow Kiri wasn't necessary to her or her kit unless you were a console player who couldn't land an alpha after landing the beta. Yellow Ochako's kit isn't a kit that needs consistency. If you have to buff her, then I would suggest her beta doesn't go on cooldown if you are knocked out of it early, like how they did with Dabi's gamma, or give her inertia on her beta. You know something small.

Kurogiri's probably one of the most skill-dependent characters in the game.
His tier depends pretty heavily on the player's strategy and how many techs they know.Although there is a Fixer build that can bump his alpha damage to like ~160 if the whole projectile duration hits, which can let him play as an unga bunga beamer.

It lowers your DPS, but it can also lower enemy DPS by preventing them from doing anything. It can hurt their ability to escape for the same reason.
Rapid Deku's grounded alpha instantly deals 500 down power, meaning it knocks down the enemy no matter what they're doing, even if they're in the middle of an armored move. This means his DPS is lower than Assault Deku's DPS, sure, but if an Assault Deku is beaming, say, a Strike Denki, that Denki can beam him right back.
If you're getting beamed by a Rapid Deku, you can't do anything if he hits his shots. You can't even run away.
A move that prevents counterplay is generally going to be stronger than a move that does more damage, but doesn't interrupt what the enemy is doing. This is why grab moves, staggering moves, stun moves, and high-knockdown moves are the kings of the meta.

First of all, get Willpower so you don't have to worry about your 250 HP. Mirio is one of the greatest escape artists in the game.
Next, get used to using your uncharged alpha. It deals more damage than your charged alpha, and is much tougher to dodge. Your charged alpha is still a good tool, but it shouldn't be your main source of damage.
Never EVER use your beta offensively if your opponent has half a brain, unless they're locked into some kind of animation (like for example, if they try and melee you, you can tap your beta to dodge the melee and immediately punish while they're still in the melee animation). In all other circumstances, your beta is too easy for them to dodge and makes it too easy for them to fuck you up after they dodge it. Your beta is primarily an escape tool, AND you want to escape to somewhere where you'll have cover so you don't just get beamed the second you surface.
Mirio's gamma is a pretty good offensive tool and it has 500 down power, so you can use it to do things like interrupt something a hardened Kiri is doing or beat armored moves. It can also be used as a combo finisher.
Don't just turn on your SA and sit in it unless you're completely out of options, it's a massive waste of charge. Your SA is best utilized by briefly tapping it to quickly pass through walls without using your alpha/beta, or to dodge individual attacks and then immediately punish. It's also a great get-out-of-jail-free card since you can use it to warp to teammates as long as it's not completely empty.

LFJ already made a very detailed breakdown of Strike AfO's skills, so I'm not going to rehash all that, but I do have some thoughts.
Strike AfO's alpha deals pretty good damage - a total of 95 damage per volley at level 9, knocking down in two volleys. Or - knocking down after the enemy takes a total of 190 damage.
This is on the higher end of beamer damage, so it's pretty good. The problem is, AfO's alpha projectiles are fired one after another. This gives him a similar problem to Twice (who also deals nearly 100 damage per alpha if all his projectiles hit) where it's fine against a stationary target, but in order to hit a moving target, not only do you need to lead the target, but you need to continue leading throughout the entire firing animation so that the trail of projectiles perfectly intersects all along the path of the enemy. Additionally, Twice gets 8 alpha ammo, whereas AfO only gets a total of 5 shots based on the amount each shot uses. This will, I imagine, make it a massive headache to try and hit moving targets with Strike AfO's alpha.
His alpha also makes him an easier target. Being able to hover while firing it is nice, but firing it always forces you into a hover, it's not optional. This means it will always kill whatever momentum you might have, and you can't really do the jump+shoot tactic that is standard for beamers. Other beamers will probably have an easier time hitting you than you will have hitting them.
The guaranteed hit AoE of Strike AfO's beta is small enough that I think you would be unlikely to hit an enemy who was not moving predictably. The larger random AoE is decent in an open space, but I feel like where Strike AfO's beta will really shine is enclosed spaces that will restrict both the spawn range of the random bolts and the movement of the enemy.

Strike AfO's level 9 gamma deals 144 damage to start, 155 damage when charged with beta, 180 damage when charged with alpha, and 265 damage when charged with both. The AoE for the latter deals 74 damage to everyone not hit by the punch itself.
With Acceleration, full melee into gamma is a true combo on GP, but it's very finicky. Tight timing and sometimes the combo will just drop for no reason. However, IF it hits, that combo can deal around 400 total damage.
Due to AfO's SA not being consumed until he switches back to his own skills (which has now been confirmed as a bug) Strike AfO can air stall infinitely as long as he has any stolen quirk, just by cycling his own cooldowns and stalling with his alpha + gammas. If he has a stolen quirk that has some mobility of its own, he can stall even harder.
Strike AfO will probably be known for dropping 300+ damage gammas on people and not much else. His beta seems just okay and his alpha seems very hard to get significant value of against non-bot targets. Still, given AfO's ability to steal quirks, maybe having a couple 300+ damage buttons in his pocket is enough.
I still think Tech AfO will turn out to be stronger overall due to his ability to control the battlefield. Strike AfO can TOD one person, but Tech AfO can TOD many people all at once if he gets a good gamma pull.

In theory, to save on ammo. It costs 25% for each enhancement.
In practice, of course, Strike AfO's alpha and beta are garbage compared to his gamma, so you're always better off spending the ammo for the enhancement. But I think that's the idea in THEORY.
It'd be like if Tamaki could spend one of his betas to strengthen his laser. It's not that a stronger laser would be bad, but Tamaki's beta is also very good and now you've only got one instead of two. And what if the enemy dodges the laser and now the beta ammo that Tamaki spent is wasted as well?

Her ground beta isn't guaranteed and needs a downed body to make good use of it, and air beta is inconsistent thanks to lag and not exactly easy to land on good players.

Sure, his alpha sucks, but it has decent DP build-up and reaches decently far for a beamer quirk. Star's alpha is much better with a lot of potential, but you really have to consider their kits as a whole when it comes to balance.

Regardless of the RNG aspect, it's my opinion that his beta is his best move even if it's only very slightly better than gamma, but I agree that his gamma is indeed strong. Strike AFO's beta is a very strong quirk for area denial, especially indoors and only slightly worse outdoors, and I do recognize this is hard to pull off, but if you hit your beta directly on them, at least 2 lightning strikes should be guaranteed. The point is, he's not weak. He's decently strong and maybe even somewhat balanced when looking at the entire cast, and buffing him needlessly by adding super armor to his gamma will turn him into a monster virtually on par with Tech Shiggy on release, minus the immortality aspect.

Afaik it only works when his beta bugs out. Mashing melee right after pressing beta is the most consistent way I found to have the first hit of the grab and the air melee to land, but sometimes one or both will fail to connect like in this clip.
And yeah, as the clip shows you can loop it for some mediocre damage. or use alphaor his grounded melee string, but I'm sure that is not a "true" comboinstead of going for a second beta for a safer option.

Agreed. But I want her SA to be more interesting than that. Make it an active state where she gets a general mobility buff like faster sprint speed, bunny hops, higher and further vertical and horizontal jumps, buffed melee tracking etc.
Also her thigh muscles tense up when you activate it like in the anime scene and she has a red glowing streak from her eye like in All's Justice when her passive is active.

Learned a new tech from someone.
If you jump off a wall while wall running (whether from a Rapid card or the Wall Runner tuning, doesn't matter) and then use a move that arrests your momentum AND ends its animation with your feet touching the ground (rather than ending in freefall, like Rapid Mirio's beta or Rapid Deku's overdrive beta. It doesn't work even if the freefall lasts for only a single frame, such as if you kick the ground with Assault Deku's beta. It doesn't count.), you "store" the walljump momentum. As long as your feet do not leave the ground until the next time you touch a jump pad, when you do touch that jump pad, the jump pad will send you just as high as it would normally, but like 2x-5x as far laterally. Most jump pads seem like they're 2x, and I'm not quite sure why a few of them seem to send you so much farther than that when you do this tech.
You only get one super jump each time you use this tech. After you touch the jump pad, you have to do the walljump thing again.
If your feet leave the ground for any reason before you touch the jump pad (jumping normally, using most flight-type/omnidirectional moves, vaulting over a small obstacle, walljumping again but without doing the tech, etc) the super jump is wasted and the next jump pad will function normally. Exceptions to this are dodge rolling, knockback (IF you hit the ground instead of air recovering. If you air recover, the super jump is wasted.), and, technically, wall running (if you actually turn back toward the ground to get off of the wall without jumping/falling off of it).
Just like when you use a jump pad normally, this tech is impacted by the jump pad's built-in direction. If you cross the jump pad "backward" you won't go as far as if you cross it in its intended launch direction. You'll still go farther than normal in any case, though.

Some of these moves are eligible despite technically being aerial mobility moves (Aizawa's beta, Mt. Lady's gamma). This is because these moves have a different animation path if you are touching the ground when they end. As such, you can use these moves again (during a fight, for example) without breaking the super jump, just as long as you don't leave the ground when you use the move.

This can be a very useful tech for chasing/escaping, especially if the enemy isn't expecting it or is playing a character who can't do it. If your character has enough ammo/reload speed for the triggering moves and is using Wall Runner, it can just be a generally very fast way to move through the map.
