You want your Princess to catch up to your pace to proc NSM. This is hard to do against opposing XOguris because they ult before late race, giving them a big speed boost so they won't count as overtake target.
You'd have to test a bit but the sac pace basically wants not to have too many mid race skills so that Kawakami can be fairly close behind so that NSM procs when late race starts.
