masha is every squishys worst nightmare, damage gated so you can only deal 1/3 of her health at a time plus she has a speed boost and her ult can follow your flicker if timed correctly. a good masha can sprint into your backline and demolish them in a couple seconds every teamfight with no option to escape without spending all your teams cc which mashas team will then jump on you and punish.
lolita just counters every projectile and ccs the shit out of you, simple as. matchup dependant, but she only gets picked against good matchups anyway.
sora can choose to do a bunch of damage or a bunch of cc whenever he needs it, the real thing making him so good right now is the low cooldown on his ult, i think they will nerf that first.
gloo can just remove a target from a teamfight and is tanky enough to bully people in lane, pretty simple.
diggie is impossible to catch off guard because every bush has a fucking bird in it and even if you get the drop on diggies team he just pops ult and the situation reverses, not to mention hes annoying as shit and the tilt factor causes assassins to spend all their skills on killing diggie instead of the carry

here's a few things I do to minimize winrate damage that seem to work for me
>if a match goes horribly bad, pick roam-only in ranked queue for the next match
>if you don't wanna play roam then take a short break from the game, 1-2 hours, never spam back to back matches after 1 dark system match
>in non-ranked if all your teammates have default avatars just back out and don't join, it's not worth it
>If it's a 2v5 dark system match, never chase defeated MVP, let the other good player on the team take it and don't try too hard to win a hopeless game, getting defeated MVP triggers a deadly dark system chain because the game feels like it didn't punish you hard enough

If you're solo carrying a trash team, no matter how ahead you are in score and gold, no matter how far you have pushed the lanes, if you die even once in late game then it's instant defeat because it takes the enemy team like a total of 10 seconds to destroy the remaining towers + march inside the base + destroy it while you're still waiting to respawn
I heard they are buffing the base health in future updates though which is a good thing, it will give teams another chance to lock in and pull off comebacks

Because it is not a real competition, it is just a choreographed show to attract the attention of the masses and thus generate profits. It is basically advertising. All the matches are setup.

People confuse newbie low rank heroes like dyrroth or balmond or whatever with dark system heroes but in reality dark system is always the top-tier meta heroes being picked by retards who think they are automatically gonna perform well with the hero just because it is considered meta so they just lock into them without caring about the enemy lineup, what items to build etc.
Remember to direct your hatred on these types instead since they are the real dark system, unlike the commonly misunderstood "dark" system which is just new players performing too well for new players so the game puts them in your high level game, they are also victims of the dark system just like us

I just played a few AI training matches and wtf it's actually fun? They were way more intense and balanced than my usual human matches, it's like the AI studies you and adapts accordingly to give you a challenge
Just make sure you're playing "AI training" and not the regular "vs AI" which has dumb bots
And another thing is making sure your teammates are all AI too, because sometimes the game tries pairing you with other people who are playing AI training

You realize a game is destined to fail when its cooperative mode vs AI is much more entertaining than the regular 5v5 duel mode. That's why I stopped playing any other mode except vs AI.
The matchmaking is a bad joke, they let you win a couple of times so your win rate goes up a bit and then match you with people who have no idea how to play. And when you lose, the game doesn't adjust; it still matches you with people who have no idea how to play.

Why care what randoms do in Classic? You improve by playing with intention. Watch the map, plan your next move, think about how to counter your lane opponent, what items to buy, and what your role should be at each stage of the game.

Classic has mixed skill levels, so low-rank Ranked is better for learning fundamentals. Don’t stress win rates or winning every 1v1. also don't 1v1 too much if you don't know wtf you're doing, try to help in team fights more and when you have to 1v1 just do hit and run type tactics unless you think the win is very likely----focus on learning and consistency.

For beginners, EXP lane and Gold lane are easiest. Simple heroes to learn fundamentals:
EXP: Balmond, Thamuz, Terizla
Gold: Miya, Layla, Clint
Roam: Tigreal, Atlas (if you like supporting)

Watch good players on YouTube using your hero, and practice thoughtfully. Improvement comes with time and awareness.

The fact that the enemy jungler wanted to prolong the match as much as possible since he thought it was a free kill farming game gave us a chance to make a comeback by securing objectives and doing distraction plays

The matches are already setup before you even start playing. It's like in PVZ2 where you play against a recording, meaning your result is already predetermined before the game starts. That's why it's called dark system. The only real way to win is to find a way to play only against bots and thus be able to climb to the highest ranks.
