Kordan doesn't even get to die, he just gets told he's a useless fuck who can shrivel to death in the corner.
At least let us execute him ourselves.

So suspicions were right and the Maulers and Wilders share a common ancestor. Even all grown up, Gala's still so precious. But again, making us go through that final chapter and right into the sidequests feels weird.

Kordan is also a character we personally don't get to connect with, which is rather telling honestly. We got to help everyone else work through things BUT him, and it seems unfair when it seems like the writers are intentionally making him unlikable when can see why he spiraled.

In fact is there even a single good thing Kordan did? Even before the 13 year skip and the betrayal, he only cozied up to us because he thought we'd solve all his problems and keep him in power as the god of the hunt. He then refuses to see reason, immediately backstabs you, and after it's obvious his actions lead to the fall of the real hunting god, he continues to blame you and has absolutely zero accountability or leadership skills, proceeds to exile and kill off half his tribe, forces them into slave labor because he can't hunt for shit anymore, and not to mention that he's weaker than a literal fucking girl half his size

One of the major points this season was dissecting was blind worship and the effects of religious psychosis. Both the Halians and the Wildborn were staunchly devoted to their respective gods until Dura and Merlin started waking them up.

Halia was easier because our strongest ally was the king, who was also a child and much more open to our help even after we inadvertently cause a catastrophe. Kordan in contrast was already well in his ways and would've required more intervention, which we didn't get to do. Someone hurting will look for anything to blame for the cause, and Merlin was the easiest in his eyes. While things weren't perfect, everything got much more complicated after we showed up.

Also, by the time of the duel, Kordan is much older. Of course he lost to a younger warrior in their prime. Tilaya even says that there were others that could've challenged him and won, but they didn't.
