Why are they doing the Avengers thing?

Why not? Maybe that's how all of them look while they're waiting to be deployed. Monmusu Assemble!

I've made this, if anyone could check it and see if its actually works then it'd be nice.

Were you able to unfuck the text or get any text hooker like Texttractor or SugoiTranslator to show the text on a floating window? It's kind of unusable in it's current state due to the atrociously bad wordwrap.
>>
>>1944905
No, not yet. Reading the story will have to wait, its only for playing the game which is the main draw for me.
>>
>>1944913
Isn't it the other way around? It's super easy to play the game and memorize the UI without a translation but the one thing you'd need a TL patch for is reading the story or what the characters say.
>>
>>1944922
The UI is one thing but the character pages with their skills are most important to me, without that I'd be spending forever looking each one up over and over until I've memorized them.
>>
>>1944938
>The UI is one thing but the character pages with their skills are most important to me
You'd just use a wiki, it's what I do with other Japanese games always. It's what I've always done with stuff like TSK or BA even.
Honestly you get so used to it that it's easy to forget the game is in Japanese because eventually you know the entire UI and game by heart and habit.

The real problem where you can't just wiki everything is story since you can only read that in game for the full experience and that's where a patch would come in handy.

I know it's not the same thing as an in-game patch, but I've translated the prologue and Chapters 1-5 (the Wraithon Arc) and tried to put in some effort to cleaning up some of the dialogue so it's more accurate, and while I know I can't guarantee that it's gonna be perfect I'd be willing to just give them all another look over to see if I catch anything else and then dump all of them into pastebins if there's any anons here who just want to at least read the story and know what they're saying there. I'd probably try to better organize them if I did this though so it's more easily to separate the scenes in each chapter.
I'm currently making my way through translating Chapter 6 this way, but I've only translated up to Logica's game show and the cavalcade of comedy that whole thing was.
>>
>>1945022
I would like to read it so any pastebins would be appreciated. No need to tidy it up too much either.

it would've been neat if we'd gotten a horse girl centric event for the new years thing. maybe one of the horses will get an alt at least.

But they did do a horse girl for new years.
The Umamusume kind though
>>
>>1946884
I know Kirin got an alt and she 'kinda' counts, I just meant I wish the event had been centered specifically on horse-girls for the new years, rather than just also having one horse. There's a year of the dog, so that event would've made a lot more sense if they had saved the idea for a year of the dog.
Which would've been.....well, quite a while away I guess maybe they just really liked the idea and couldn't think of anything to do with horses.
>>1946437
Oh, neat, so Ticka and Vorpal showing up was actually hinting towards the valentine's event, that's pretty cool. Glad the Gargoyle Girl finally got something too.

You will never convince me that this wasn’t caused by a typo given the sheer level of bugginess and errors that keep cropping up in this game these days
>>
>>1948844
If you think about it really hard it would be lore accurate to have all these bugs pop up because the updates and changes were done by Vivi.
>>
>>1948844
What's specifically happening here is that when Difnilla is retreated, her flame patch DoT calls for enemy HP instead of her attack value. This is likely caused by not correctly placing the call value function before the attack is executed. Rather than a typo, it's caused by the code being in the wrong order. The actual worst case scenario here is the game outright crashing if it can't find the value it's looking for, so it could've been worse.

If you're the guy who thought the initial 200% value was a typo, the values shown in a unit's textboxes have no direct relation to the actual code implemented. As in they must be typed and put in separately. Since they matched on inception, there is very little chance of a typo causing it to be inflated. There might theoretically be a miscommunication if the person who decides the numbers made a typo when giving the unit blueprint to the person who codes the units in however.
>>
>>1949397
they keep making typos between both the description value AND the actual code, hell we even just had another example this collab because the dragon girl's not supposed to have a fixed attack speed buff and it's getting changed to the multiplicative one it was intended to be. Either one of them got into a miscommunication and thought it was supposed to be 200 and not 20, or they intended to add 20 but made it 200 by mistake since an extra 0 is rather innocuous compared to other kinds of typos despite how much of a difference it makes. I could very easily believe they put that extra zero in both of those on accident and just never caught it. I think they don't even bother to check or test anything anymore. It would explain a lot.
And yes I first saw that explanation from the game's oversea players on the wiki, and I just think it makes the most amount of sense.
>her flame patch DoT calls for enemy HP instead of her attack value
this is so stupid lmao how does this even fuckin happen
would've rather had the game crash so they'd get forced to at least fix some of this shit, but they're just too damn busy with their domino-checkers chinese gambling game
>>
>>1948918
i knew it, it's all her fault!
>>
>>1949397
For some reason it requires the enemy to enter their attack animation first and then have her retreat for the bug to occur

>>
>>1948304
AIEEEE NO ROTTY DON’T LOOK
>>
>>1949467
There's likely an array that contains the stat values somewhere and the enemy calling its attack values bumps its HP value to where Difnilla's attack value was in memory. That's a more complex bug.

The new TD is most likely made by the same team that codes Aigis, Monmusu, and Castle so the team doesn't have enough people and it appears the decision was to sacc Monmusu. Would explain all the issues in the past year.

That's genuinely sad if that's truly the reason behind it, and I think that's undoubtedly a very very likely explanation for what's really been going on. I sincerely believe that MMTD's a better and more fun game than Aigis (which makes sense to me now having played both, since it seems to have built on and improved off of it, hell TD's even somehow harder than Aigis is), but it's also far younger than it is and Aigis is their main moneymaker. If they're throwing the island under the bus for that cthulhu game and it ends up getting completely fucked over as a result it'd honestly piss me off quite a bit.

why does it feel like this always happens........I've only ever played two 'gacha' style mobile games, both times turned out to be around their third year of life, and both times that's also the year where things started going awry for them. I just hope this doesn't end the same way as Dragalia Lost did.

ok admittedly the fact the gimmick stacks with Aqua's and makes her become three times bigger is kinda funny but I'm still pretty displeased, and also pretty baffled as to how they've fucked their entire system up this badly.

In a similarly inexplicable way when I tried using the Lumyuda (the alien cat girl with the poison radius) for one level, she was suddenly moving significantly moree slowly even without Lucretia there, and I realized one of her awakening bonuses is an increase to her attack speed. When I reset all of her awakening bonuses to remove it and then used her in another level as a test, removing that one bonus caused her to behave normally again. Aqua is also supposed to slow down when she attacks while giant, and while I think she's still "slower" than usual, the decrease in her attack speed is much more minor now when prior there was definitely a noticeable pause. But, I cannot tell if SS!Okyuu has any changes to her when I've tried her out, and I don't think the Idol Beastgod's skill that gives the attack speed boost feels much different either.

I really don't know what they did, but at the minimum it feels like everything that had a 'fixed' speed boost value has been completely fucked up.

I tested Nazuna as well since her signature weapon also gives her a minor attack speed buff, and yeah, Nazuna is clearly slowed down now instead of sped up due to what they did. And putting Lucretia there just exaggerates the slowdown even more. I have no idea how many girls are effected by this but I would wager every single girl who has a flat attack speed buff for themselves in some capacity was fucked by whatever they did.

I messed around with XUnity some more today. Reading the documentation this time, I noticed that it has a TranslationAggregator hotkey

>ALT + 1: Toggle Translation Aggregator UI.

This hotkey should bring up a window that has the translation in it which in theory should perfectly solve the issue MTD has which is of text cutting off and not being able to be fully displayed.
Except, it doesn't work. I can't tell if it's a problem with my configuration, if it's a problem with my Bepinex configuration, if it's a problem with my plugin or if it's just a game issue but the bottom line is that it doesn't work for me.
If anyone can find how to enable this or make it work then a translation should be very possible since the translation would be on it's own window and not subject to MTD's engine limitations so sharing my experience from today here in hopes someone smarter than me can figure out a solution or do something useful with it.

>this day, MC is summoned by Yuil to the forest who greets them with very heavy and awkward flattery that both MC and Vivi comment on
>asking why she had them come, it's Valentine's day, so everybody's making chocolate and when she finally came to making her own, there were already no ingredients left
>Vivi remarks that the battles for Cacao are especially fierce
>Yuil fearful of that battleground, asks if they might know of any substitutes
>Vivi asks Yuil why she's making chocolate and she embarrassedly says she can't
>Vivi ponders her boldness in being able to ask MC to help make the chocolate that will presumably be given to him, but holds her tongue
>MC honestly really can't think of any way to substitute cacao out of chocolate
>Vivi concurs as chocolate without cacao is as different as margarine and butter
>Yuil thought aren't they the same, but holds her tongue in fear
>Yuil has heard of some chocolate leaf so she wanted to investigate it in hopes it might help her make chocolate, so we go help her find it
>monsters
>Yuil says she wouldn't taste and her meat's probably very tough as it turns to stone a lot
>Vivi says regardless of Yuil's taste, there's a delicious MC right here
>MC says he isn't delicious to eat either
>Yuil thinks otherwise to the point MC notices the greedy look on her face
>dealing with the monsters, Vivi noticed they seemed a bit hyper
>MC wonders if it's the leaves Yuil was talking about as chocolate is a stimulant
>the monsters seem like a good lead, but Yuil is fearful
>Tikka runs by with the standard I'm going to be late routine and Yuil notices she smells of chocolate, let's follow her
>Vivi finds it a bit too convenient and grills Yuil on if she's just saying that because she's afraid to fight monsters

>>
>catching up to Tikka, we ask if she knows of any chocolate leaves
>are you talking about Chocoleaf?
>that's a surprisingly straightforward name, however even Vivi has never heard of it
>Tikka explains it's from the mirror world, also she has to hurry as she's going to be late
>when Yuil asks for what, Vivi claims she's just pretending most of the time as there isn't anything
>monsters
>blocking Tikka after we deal with the monsters, we ask about the Chocoleaf
>they're plants that grow in the mirror world
>while they look unremarkable, if you boil and melt them, they turn to chocolate
>Yuil demands some from Tikka
>how rude, and I don't have any in the first place
>Yuil claims a liar, a she can smell the chocolate on her, give it!
>Yuil then turns to stone surprising Tikka
>Vivi explains to Tikka that Yuil does that reflexively when she gets embarrassed
>you must've been the cause
>Vivi then pressures Tikka into working together as she surmises she's also probably trying to make chocolate
>as Tikka side glances at MC, Vivi knows she's got her on the hook
>if we work together, maybe there will be a chance?
>or is it you doubt me, Tikka?
>t-there's no way!
>assertive towards those below her, humble towards those above her, reading Tikka's psychology of wanting to be led by those in power, Vivi took control of her mercilessly
>with that, she joins the party and leads us to the Chocoleaf
>...then we remember the petrified Yuil and come back to get her
>>
>walking for a while, MC wonders how much further to the Chocoleaf
>Yuil panic petrifies at the thought of having to go to the mirror world
>Tikka tells her to cut that out and that Chocoleaf isn't exclusive to the mirror world
>one, two, three napes, I'll cut off your heads!
>Yuil petrifies in terror
>Tikka asks why Lapinus did that
>if you don't make an impact with your appearances, you'll be eliminated in the world of monmusu with high turnover
>Tikka wonders if she's being too inconspicuous in contrast to Lapinus and Yuil's gimmicks
>asking Lapinus about Chocoleaf, she surprisingly reveals they grow right over there
>wait, no, where was it
>well it's hard to tell from appearance, but you can tell from the smell and when you eat it, it's like-
>monsters
>after fighting them and taking advantage of Chocoleaf, MC finds himself grown giant which turns out to be a side effect of it
>won't that make chocolate made with it also grow people
>cooking it removes the giantification effect, but it leaves the aphrodisiac effect
>as Vivi asks if Yuil can manage to make chocolate with this, Lapinus overhears and gets excited at the prospect of MC making chocolate
>while MC says it's Yuil who's trying to make it, Tikka and Yuil also get excited at the idea, so Vivi tells him he's got no choice now
>if it makes everyone happy...!
>>
>spotting some Chocoleaf, MC asks Lapinus how she can tell
>maybe she should compose a poem and MC will be able to sing the difference after losing his head
>on top of telling the difference, Vivi also wonders why it's suddenly growing so abundantly on Gespenst
>maybe because it's Valentine's
>actually a decent possibility as Valentine's has caused various things like chocolate rain and meteors before
>Tikka is about to say why the Chocoleaf is growing before
>monsters
>after defeating them, we finally secure some Chocoleaf
>not a lot though Tikka and Lapinus point out
>only enough for something that can fit on your pinky, a small bud's worth
>as Yuil overwhelms herself thinking of presenting her bud, Vivi says we can just get more as there seems to be plenty growing
>MC asks Tikka what was she going to say about why the Chocoleaf was growing here
>because she planted them
>she?
>who would go to the trouble of getting plants from the mirror world to plant on Gespenst
>she pops up, being Liddell and Urunella
>an unexpected combo
>Liddell was mainly just carrying her own supply, but Urunella contacted her as she was interested in growing them on Gespenst due to the "enlargening" and "stimulating" effects
>as Urunella lives off bodily fluids, MC growing larger and being stimulated would increase the amount...
>the other monmusu gulp
>we explain our chocolate quest to Liddell and Urunella
>Urunella comments about the fierce cacao battles reaching the peak of their chaos and getting to the third round
>who's directing that!?
>Liddell notes word about Chocoleaf hasn't spread too much yet and she's happy to give us as much as we need which we're very thankful
>Urunella asks for body fluids then
>...uh, I'll consider it...

i can't even use half my preferred team of girls because of their flat attack speed buffs, and i either have to go through and un-awaken them to get rid of it or just bench them because it's baked into them like from a trait or weapon. and certain enemies now just cause characters to become completely frozen and incapable of moving or attacking at all. i dont have to deal with the harpy queen problem at least, because i don't have her, but this shit's just still inexcusable. apparently some players have been able to abuse the new mechanics to also just cheese everything with certain girls as well due to the multiplication getting fucked, but i don't have those characters. hell the events aren't even worth it, they didn't even bother making the collab have a girl to get and they cut down on the stories a lot. and instead of just hiring more people they've been burning money on fucking mahjong. i doubt it's going back to normal even after that new game gets crapped out. because they're just gonna continue to focus on the new thing and will simply ignore the game that's falling. i really wouldn't be surprised if they're just trying to make an excuse to kill it off at this point, because that's what it's starting to feel like.
>>
>>1951954
you need five to get anything out of them. you get three per collab game, of which there's five, so you have to also play the other four games to actually get the rewards. or you can just buy them directly with cash money. if you don't feel like playing any of the other games, then they're worthless.

>>1952047
that's a pretty good starting hand at least if that's all your legendary girls. i can't actually tell you how good the dragon's still gonna be though since she's what broke the system currently. she'll probably still be good if it gets "fixed" in the way they were intending her to work. otherwise the frost giant, medusa, iron golem, spider and the psycho bunny are probably the best things you got.

I love lovecraft man, let me hope! Okyuu getting to be in that game would be kino. If it's truly the reason behind the current situation it would at least be nice if the game we got out of it was good.
I also ended up pulling the one who seems to be the "main girl" for it on the second or third day which was also kinda neat too. But I guess I just think Okyuu has a better design than any of the girls in it I've seen so far.

Also while you might not need to yet, you should probably put a healer in there eventually; Donne and Rin are good enough if you're still starting out and have no one better. Donne can still see use even later on though due to her stun mechanic.

>otherwise the frost giant, medusa, iron golem, spider and the psycho bunny are probably the best things you got.
Is there a particular or specific reason those units are good?
>>
>>1952567
NTA but
>Iron Golem
Airen deals a tremendous amount of damage with her skill and when she's deployed, and is relatively durable, and can be recalled and then redeployed to keep using her as a bomb to clear things out. She's very powerful. Also, once at a high enough level, there's a combination you can make for her without paying any money that can allow her to activate her skill before she's actually deployed, which causes the damage of her bomb drop to skyrocket to obscene levels.
>Spider Maiden
Kazune slows down enemies and can shorten the skill recharge times of ranged units deployed with her skill, which is just really useful.
>Frost Giant
Narkepahune is extremely strong and durable, slows enemies down during her skill with the blizzard she calls, and her craftable weapon gives her an extra block and regeneration during that blizzard which makes her a very efficient frontline character.
>Medusa
Lauren petrifies everyone when she's deployed and then petrifies everyone again when she activates her skill, and in general she just hits really hard and can get a lot of bonus damage off on enemies who aren't immune to poison or petrification. Her craftable weapon also increases her damage to petrified enemies off skill as well as giving her the chance to petrify with her normal attacks. She pairs extremely well with Charis (the Cockatrice Girl), as Charis has a ridiculous 2.5x damage bonus on petrified enemies (although Charis works best with her EX II skill), and they can help petrify stuff for each other. So if you end up using Lauren it's reasonable to pair them together.
>bunny
I don't own her but I tried her out, she's kinda fun and a self-sufficient blocker similarly to Narkepahune, but more focused on just single-target damage. However her instant kill gimmick can be used to cheese some things, like the big boss enemies in the labrynth.

You're welcome anon, I'm happy I can help you out!
And I would consider that pretty up-to-date yeah, as I also referenced that page myself when I was first starting out (albeit a bit later on).

As for the suggested rentals, I agree with their list, but one thing I would rectify though is that I disagree with it's assessment on Okyuu's Gun form feeling 'underpowered' in 'later content', as I'm going to attest to you that from personal experience she very much does not. On the contrary she's probably my favorite girl to use because of how ridiculously awesome she feels to just octuple shot rapid fire through so many things, and her unlockable EX II skill allows her to switch between massive focus-fire DPS and clearing huge swarms of enemies. In fact the reduced range of the second skill even came in handy in the challenge stages where enemies reflect damage while unblocked because it allowed her to not shoot them too early.

The paygated anniversary version of Raikon didn't get included on that list either, but she's also currently the single strongest character in the game, and will basically kill everything in any level on auto-pilot bar anything immune to physical damage. Besides her though I agree with the list: SS!Okyuu, School!Nigryu, and Anni!Rin are supremely powerful units (just barely avoiding being broken), and then Chupina's probably the strongest character who isn't Anni!Raikon. You have as much time to go through the event archive as you need so you can either do it in order or just grab whoever you want the most. However I'd also suggest training up Hariella, the Harpy Queen, from that archive, as her EX II is incredibly powerful and useful in any situation, letting you withdraw and redeploy all units for a set period of time at the swiftest rate in the game.
>>
>>1952604
Hey I was right, her instant-kill can cheese even more than I expected!
It seems even more efficient than the previous one did since it requires less extremely-specific limited/hard to obtain units to be able to pull it off; only two there are limited. I really have to wonder what they were thinking with Yano but apparently they also pulled a lot of their staff off for the castle game and it's had a lot of maintenance worked on it so their bug fixers or testers just seem to not be around. But still, they tried to prevent her from insta-killing bosses and she ended up being able to anyways.

I love a lot of the bosses and find them very fun and well-designed fights when you're fighting them "correctly" (i.e, the way the devs probably intended you to do so) but it's still undeniably impressive to see stuff like this anyways, even if I'll never use it myself. I'm just happy to see Okyuu and Rycliff there. Kinda funny given I just used those two yesterday too. But apparently a lot of japanese players hate Aurum for some reason despite how awesome that fight is. I guess that's why he showed up in such disrepair in the last alien event.

Even if the reasons/motivations are completely different, that there's now a second anon who's learning stuff about coding directly because of this island is kind of funny to me. It's truly a special place! Hope you get it to work.
>>
>>1952841
I'm so close I can almost taste it though, I probably would have been demotivated and went back to my other games given that I already met the kumafes tix requirements if the game didn't keep hitting my weakness of cute small girls on every loading screen which game me the motivation to give it one more attempt.
I need to pass out for today but my findings/misc ramblings are:

- Bepins version of the plugin are terrible. It feels like mission impossible to get anything that isn't Google TL working with it. It works beautifully if you feed it replacements like "このゲームでは音声が再生されます。\r\n音量にはご注意ください" to "This game plays audio.\nPlease be careful about the volume." since it knows what to do but the translation quality takes a sharp nosedive the second it switches from the premade translations to the MTL.

- Melonloader WORKS. I could not get anything working with Bepin but I was able to get Melonloader to recognize and load an external translator (SugoiTranslator) and use it to actually translate lines on a different test game but I haven't tried feeding it to MTD yet since I need to pass out soon and I don't want to stay up doing this and there's a lot of other things I want to test.

- There used to be a Mist Train translation that used MelonLoader which is where I got the idea. I know DMM doesn't seem to care about Bepin or Hachimi so hopefully they don't care about me using Melon for this game if it ends up being a viable solution.

I've realized now that I had completely forgotten about actually putting those note transcripts into pastebins; I still probably need to clean up the other five main story chapters but for the prologue I just saw some small things I needed to correct and straightened out the names.
I'll try to remember to get to the other chapters of the wraithon arc; it's probably not perfect but it should hopefully still be good enough.
>>
I couldn't unfuck the wordwrap issue but I managed to get a better non-GoogleTL translator working.

I tried the Melonmod method I mentioned above in my sleep deprived state but the game refused to load the translator mod using melon so I applied what I learned to Bepin and it worked out quite nicely. It requires using SugoiTranslator though which in my opinion, is worse than Gemini or DeepL but better than Google Translate.

The problem seems to lay on the fact DeepL deprecated support for various API methods so the DeepL support for XUAT is dead and broken until the developer of it finds a workaround or a fix but if the fix requires signing up for a "Free" (Requires Credit Card) API then it's going to be a lot worse than before.
I also wanted to attempt implementing support for Gemini as a custom translator but Gemini seems to have slashed their free plans by a LOT so the plugin would reach the limit of calls in less than an hour of reading so it wasn't worth it. Didn't feel like messing with the other options and Sugoi seemed good enough so I went with it.

Installation instructions are basically just >>1944877 except you want to grab the links I posted above and add SugoiTranslator as a translator to the config file like
https://pastebin.com/z22J0Vtt
>>
>>1953167
Also, as an additional thing, you can hide the BepInEx console if it bothers you by going to the BepInEx.cfg and changing the setting located at [Logging.Console] to false. It'll hide the console window but still translate the game and prevents clutter on your task bar.

It only barely works and it's honestly pretty fucked. It's so fucked that I think it'd honestly be better to just play without it and use some sort of OCR software to translate the story.
Game is pretty fun and charming though, definitely a good experience.
>>
>>1954235
Well, that's unfortunate to hear but I'm glad you're still having a lot of fun anon!
I don't know what OCR is but what I've been doing is
>scan text
>inspect anything that stands out to make sure it's accurate
>work out any erroneous or unusual translations by hand
>reference SFX Japanese guide for assistance
>put in doc
>repeat
and that's basically how I've been doing it. Trying to rely on a translation tool results in a lot of things, mostly gags, getting lost in it's attempt to translate them. Some of it is just character skills or speech patterns, like more formal or informal behavior, but others are things like "Ameri wants to fish out the master's soul from his body for love making time", "the 'english numbers' are actually spelling out extremely lewd sex messages in japanese", "Mauro accidentally called Raikon a drug addict bum when she got powered up", etc.
Also the latter has become even funnier to me since that anniversary event, because I think in hindsight it was meant to be a reference to the very first time Raikon appeared in the story, where she actually WAS trying to buy drugs from a shady dealer in an earlier event under the belief that they'd fix her self-image issues with her arms only to realize she was getting scammed when they got exposed as poachers and she subsequently went berserk at them. I'm not into lolis, but I think those two are still pretty entertaining characters to watch anyway.

Do you still want me to post the translation efforts I've done for the first five chapters, or are you happy enough with what you've got now?
>>
>>1954294
>Do you still want me to post the translation efforts I've done for the first five chapters
Would be great for sure and thank you very much for your hard work with the translations.
>>
>>1954410
You're welcome anon. Though I'm not sure if I'd go that far yet; I'm not the one who's posting the summaries in the threads, and while I have translated some gags like that there's some that don't really carry over well.

I'll consider it hard work when I finally get around to re-writing all of Okyuu's dialogue to be properly filled with brooklynisms due to that being fucking kino the best possible way to translate her gloriously thick kansai accent.
>>
Ok so I finished combing through Chapter 1 to correct all the leftover spelling mistakes and name inconsistencies and while I missed a couple of the optional choices the main story as a whole is still intact so I went to upload it, but APPARENTLY pastebin has spontaneously developed "standards" between the prologue and now and told me to go fuck myself.
I set it to "Unlisted" because private is blurred out and unusable, and I'm not sure if a second attempt will ban me or something because I've never even heard of this happening before, but regardless of what it specifically was it's refusing to allow me to upload the transcript and given what happens in some of the later chapters it's pretty likely that it's gonna ban all of those too. So I guess it's just the prologue then.
Sorry anon. Not much I can do here really.
>>

I think I managed to datamine parts of the story scripts? I couldn't translate the ingame text so I pivoted to datamining the game and I think I had far more success with this. The file is on a 12 hour timer but should hopefully be enough for anons to grab the files and check them.
There's still like 90k json files to go through so if this isn't enough then let me know and I'll continue searching.

>>1954483
Your issue is simple, you used Pastebin. Pastebin automatically flags any suspicious paste with pretty strict filters which is why most generals of this site switched to using rentry. Just make sure you're using the org version of the site because the co version of the site will get flagged as spam by 4chan.
>>
>>1954525
alright, well i never knew pastebin had issues like that beforehand but i guess i had to learn at some point. thanks anon.

while you're datamining do you have the ability to find any of the girl's cgs? or at least the assets for them? I know some of them are flat pictures but others get reassembled to make them move.
>>
>>1954540
Yeah I got everything. I couldn't specifically find what I wanted in the viewer when I was looking for the story scripts and I extracted everything which includes the images.
I have no idea how to make them move if they aren't already moving though, I just extracted them as a side product in my quest for the story text.
>>
oh neat, would you be willing to dump those too?
I don't really care about the movement, all I want is the stills; I just want to mod some of the girls into something and need their stills for that and none of them have good renders that are as high quality as what's in the game (much less without their backgrounds), especially Okyuu who always looks too blurred compared to how she actually is.

https://transfer.it/t/X6EEmi5hmJaK
I hope this works? I'll delete the file in a day or two
>>
>>1954568
YES THANK YOU ANON YOU HAVE DONE GODS WORK FINALLY
>Most girls are actually fully assembled contrary to what I was told, and are almost entirely contained into a single file, sometimes two
>Okyuu takes up four because she's so based and three of those are just her details
I'll get right on what I'm doing but holy shit thank you so much man I really can't thank you enough
If you have any monster girl who's your favorite in-so-far as you've played at this point name her and I'll put her on my to-do list if she isn't there already, that's really the least I can do granted time may vary Aqua took me a little over two months to finish but some of them didn't take too long at least
>>
>>1954593
huh, oddly enough Aqua seems to be missing from this. Maybe it's because you don't have her? But I know she does appear in at least a couple of the other events in the archive. There's actually not that many girls in here as I expected, though I am very grateful Okyuu is. It's definitely an extremely important start at least. So thanks.
>>
>>1954598
I actually don't have Okyuu. I don't have many LRs really, I barely have enough to fill a team. Who's in there or isn't in there seems completely arbitrary so it's out of my power if someone's in there or not.
If the Android version of the game uses unity too then I might try datamining that instead since the PC versions hide files in mysterious places that I have no idea about while the android version can only place folders in very specific spots.
It could also be like old games where it only partially downloads files and stuff while it only does a full download when told specifically to do a full download or when you obtain that character.

Alternatively, I could simply post the steps on how I managed to get the images because I've been learning how to do these things for the sole purpose of trying to translate the game. The knowledge of how to do so would also help me in the future and I haven't had much to do lately so this gives me a fun way to pick up a new skill.

Step1:
Download AssetStudioMod
https://github.com/aelurum/AssetStudio/releases/tag/v0.19.0

AssetRipper exists too but I found it harder to use so downloading the GUI version of AssetStudio should be easier to use.

Step 2:
Open the GUI exe and point it at your game folder which should be called "mnms_td_r18". On PC, it's installed by default at your user folder. So if your user is called "Anonymous" then the directory you're looking for is C:\Users\Anonymous\
If pointing it at root doesn't work then point it at the data folder found inside the game folder.

Step 3:
Wait until it loads. Tell it to show everything or select everything then do Export -> All Assets.

Wait a while since it's processing every single thing in the folder and it's a large amount of files it has to go through. Once it's done, you'll have a full dump of the game files on your PC.
>>
>>1954609
i can feel myself getting confused already, but would this even work with the browser version of the game? that's the only version I've ever gotten to work, and I wasn't able to find the file specified when I went to search for it. I'm assuming this is being written with the DMM Launcher or android versions in mind.

And since I've just been assuming you're >>1952047 I figured you didn't have Okyuu, and that was why those girls were in there, and I'm assuming Lulu and Okyuu are in your files because you happened to play or watch something that featured them, or just looked at them perhaps. That's the best explanation I can think of anyways.
>>
>>1954634
It is for sure being written for the PC dmm version of the game.
Remember you absolutely need a Japanese VPN to even open the DMM games launcher so I'd suggest a solution like
https://gist.github.com/tilda/d52a8c7fa3f161de6cc45bbd2a1cbeec
and keep it on at all times while DMM games is on. Once your DMM game of choice properly loads then you can turn it off.

It wouldn't work with the Browser version because it works completely differently and I haven't verified if it works on the mobile versions of the game yet.
>>
also I want to ask if these got used anywhere because there's a handful of drawings of Master with funny expressions that aren't as detailed that seem like they were cut for something
>>
So, anyone got any newbie guidance?

Like game goals, stuff to be pushing, things to be working on and so on that isn't just reading the story?
>>
what now
>>
>>1955613
Sure! My to-do list when I started was
>Progress through the story
>Beat the event archive
>Level Up Best(Favorite) Girls
>Clear Boss Challenges (Very Fun)
>Delve into the Labrynth
>Beat Labrynth Missions (if you clear the level with a specific restriction you will get a slab to craft a special sub-skill, ranging from tier IV versions of the normal ones to unique and very strong abilities)
>Clear challenge stages
>And of course: spend time with Best(Favorite) Girl(s)

At this point I have also been going back and re-playing both chapters and events that I already cleared in order to translate them properly at this point since it's pretty fun to do that and also relaxing to have my preferred team just breeze through something. The stories are fun enough that I think it's enjoyable to simply read them again for that.
Don't feel the need to rush though, you can burn yourself out too easily. Once you've accomplished everything there's not much else to do but either read/translate stuff you've not done yet, refight stuff you found fun or just wait for the next event. But I think that's true for most games like this anyway.
>>
Oh also thank you Okyuu for blessing my rolls, I pulled the girl I was most interested in from the collab, she was the best part of that archive event besides the gags with the bear trio lol

Oh the EX Tickets?
I save those up for when I either need Gold or EXP to help level up a Monster Girl. If you're really hurting for those cubes that upgrade the E/L Girl's skills though then using one to get six of those cubes is pretty reasonable enough.

The coin shop resets weekly, buy out everything but the expensive milk and red keys which are infinite and can be bought whenever you truly need to farm weapon materials.
The cash shop has a small section which gives a free chest once a week which can give gems so don't forget to pick it up as well.

Remember to gather ranch milk and gold from the Silva button and do the daily greet thing to all your friends(add people if you haven't, it's one way, so just add whoever). The friendpoint shop resets monthly.

For daily play, you only ever farm gold from the dailies and experience/milk from ticket quests. Tickets can also be used for skill mats if you need the cubes specifically. The reason you only ever farm gold from normal dailies is because farming gold and buying the expensive milk from the coin shop is strictly superior to farming milk from the normal farming stages. This reverses with the ticket quests where the ticket milk quest is strictly superior to the ticket gold quest.

So during non-farming events, you spend all your stamina on the gold daily, use 1 silver key, collect dailies, then spend stamina on gold. If there's an event with dailies that reward stamina, then add that amount. If there's a farming event, mostly spend stamina on that until the shop is empty and only do 2 gold quests per day for the daily.

There are periodically generic events which reward currency for a small shop with roll tickets. These shops typically have what the nips have termed trap milk. As in milk that is completely pointless to buy compared to the infinite gold option as buying gold and buying expensive milk in the coin shop is more efficient. So don't buy the milk from those shops and use leftover currency after buying all roll tickets on the infinite gold.

Beast God mats and LB equipment are farmed from main story. Farm LB equipment as you need it, but leave farming Beast God mats to when they halve main story stamina use or boost drop rates.

If you're willing to read a massively bloated pastebin full of one tryhard's(that does play AK and Aigis) opinions and summaries of units that's been going since near launch, I have this.

For a short quick list of overpowered units. You get more detailed breakdowns in the Pastebin. Ephtra is actually fairly gimped here though.

Chupina - Has an instant skill that can reach 0 skill cooldown.
Aran - More powerful here than in Aigis due to several mechanical changes
Phyllis(Asbaal Outfit) - Perma-skill with Asbaal's DP on kill and grants stun immunity to allies.
NY Yano - like Morfessa, but has a 2.85x damage taken multiplier.
Logdanno - Monks in general, but she's one of the best for bombing and doesn't need a Start Charger(paid subskill)
Poison Rin - Giant AoE DoT and massive healing numbers on top.
Promestein - Healer that also has a stacking attack buff on heal.
Kokonoha - The cornerstone of Youkai teams.
Ifijar - Like Angels/Liberators, but can still block outside of skill and one of the best tanks in the game with 50% damage reduction.

>broken paid units
Futanari Idols - Grants -6 second cooldown to melee units.
Water Rakion - DPS that cannot be described and must be experienced to understand.
Nonoa - Instant skill that can reach 0 skill cooldown that also permanently buffs water allies to the point of hitting attack buff cap.
Anniversary Igni - Permanent DoT aura.

>Azep
Azep - has a janky skill that can be repeatedly buffed to integer limit damage. Mainly for cheesing infinite boss challenge.

There's a lot more units I could probably mention, but I can't list all of them.

Holy crap an up to date guide. Yes, this is exactly what I desired. I crave information more than anything and this is excellent. Thank you very much.

Are there any upcoming events or banners to look forward to or save for?
>>
>>1955925
Copypasting a post I made a month ago when somebody asked about how often events and units release.

For the most part when one event ends, another begins. The vast majority are 2 weeks, so 2 a month is fairly accurate, but bigger events can be 3, and rarely we might get non-event weeks because a new story chapter releases.

Every event generally releases with 2 new gacha units, 1 welfare, and sometimes a new paid pack unit. Youkai gachas are an exception which sometimes also release new extra lower rarity youkai.

In regards on what to save for, limiteds are mainly anniversary, youkai, aliens, and collab units. Seasonal units like swimsuits and new year's units are not limited, but NY Ruisha and Yano are limited because they're also youkai. You can bank on anni units to rerun on annis, youkai with new youkai events, aliens with the alien event, and collabs if there's a new collab part.

Regarding collabs, there have been 4 partners so far.
The most common and could be considered not a collab is the DMM TDFestival which is across MMTD, Aigis, and Oshiro Project. As a publisher backed collab, these are pretty regular.
Then there was Kumafes which is a collab across all the dev's games, Flower Knight Girl, Mist Train Girl, Girl's Creation, MMTD, and Twinkle Star Knights. We are currently in the midst of the second one.
Then there's Monster Girl Quest. 3 collabs so far and more are probable.
Sequel was relatively recent and very unexpected as Rabi and Tirma became the first human units in the game. More Sequel collabs are also quite likely.

Regarding what to save for.

Anniversary - Poison Rin and True Vampire Veratu.
Aliens - Chupina and Slayzel.
TDFestival - Aran and Asbaal Phyllis.
MGQ - Promestein.
Youkai/New Year's - NY Yano

Youkai are like the Imperials of this game. I would pick up both Mahamut and Higanbana. Mahamut is still extremely powerful even if her attack speed buff doesn't do silly stacking while Higanbana is a top class DPS.
>>
>>1955935
>Sequel was relatively recent and very unexpected as Rabi and Tirma
Yeah, looking at the wiki I felt like I was getting jumpscared and had to do a double take after seeing Rabi's face in there. MGQ was surprising but thematically expected while Sequel was a large "Huh?"

Also, are there any updates to the Mahamut situation now that they (hopefully?) bugfixed things? Does her final buff type stack or not?
>>
>>1955937
It doesn't. They just managed to fix things. However, it's still the highest normal source of +attack speed% if she's fully awakened at +70% versus the +50% of Pannier and Space Vivi. That is still extremely strong.

If anything, she at least gives you the option of using a different Beast God. She herself is still an extremely strong unit with a full screen AoE and hard hitting ranged AoE attacks.
>>
>>1955940
Thank you. Do you recommend leveling either Mahamut or Higanbana to maximum level? Leveling characters in this game seems very expensive at the current point where I am in the game.
It was also common practice in both Arknights and Aigis to stop at around 30~40 or so after fully promoting or class changing an unit but I'm not sure if there's a similar parallel here or how the system works yet.
>>
>>1955942
Level 120+ is pure luxury. However, you want 1 level 121+(I think there's a 30 level range for borrowing) unit so you can borrow other maxed out units.

In general you'll be sticking to level 90 units at CC3(400k cost) for a while. Mahamut and Higanbana are worth taking to CC4. Maxing out is definitely a labor of love. For budget, CC2 is when units are considered usable as that's when the second subskill slot unlocks. Some classes get more out of class ups than others, so the general rule would be core DPS/blockers higher investment and supports/healers lower.

Hopefully there will be more Sugoroku events soon which give the most gold and exp in the game by far. Though the last one was relatively recent with New Year's.

Also, lower rarity units are vastly less gold to upgrade. This game does not do the weak welfare things. Some of them being strong enough to fit in fully built endgame squads. All the Lycanthropes for example are great when you're starting out.
>>
>>1955954
Very, very helpful. Thank you.
Do you have any suggested event units that are worth picking up or Commons/Rares worth looking at? I've seen some suggestions and articles about it but might as well also ask while I'm at it.
>>
>>1955957
Going by event archive numbers(Torse is the 1st while the collab rerun loli Oshnee is 51 for example).

4. Thiel - Perma stealth Warlock with insanely strong weapon passive that has made her core to all low rarity guides.
8. Tetty - The premier early-game tank. Has extremely massive bulk and regeneration when transformed. Just be wary of stuns which knock units out of skills in this game.
13. Harriela - Has one of the most insane EX2s in the game(you get unit's other EX skills from Ranchiki training events which run ever so often). -80% redeploy reduction during her EX2 for all units including herself. This is more for advanced cheese strats and unneeded for general gameplay, but that should give you the idea of unit power in this game.
23. Maridura - Water squad buff. Water element has the most squad buffs in the game and it literally propels them a step above the other elements once you have enough of them.
27. Swimsuit Periri - Will likely be the first charger you actually use. Chargers being units based around movement damage. Lycanthrope tankiness, permanent skill, and hits things for a lot with easily spammable movement.
29. Latzel - The unit copier in this game. Unfortunately balanced by not being able to be deployed at the same time as the unit she's copying. Also really annoying as she copies a random unit from the first 6 in squad(can be reduced to 5 if she's among the first 6 units). Mainly for copying squad buffs. She'll always hit one if the whole first half of the squad has one.
31. Halloween Lagos - Laser
34. NY Saura - a welfare Shaman. Shamans are just very good when you're starting out.
42. Swimsuit Lotona - Extremely strong blocker for a Lancer. The peak of Lancer before higher rarities all getting ranged damage.
43. Puck - Very strong and disposable CC on a 0 deploy unit.
48. NY Nelly - 0 deploy healer that is also one of the few that can cure petrification.
50. Valentine's Shijime - Near infinite disposable tanks.
>>
>>1955964
>Unfortunately balanced by not being able to be deployed at the same time as the unit she's copying.
Damn, I miss the unit copying shenanigans in Aigis. I remember they gave a free one and you could just do very funny shit with her because of how wild the kits got in Aigis.

Thank you, I'll aim to get those. Should I be leveling them to 90 after the event gives me them at 70?
>>
>>1955957
>>1955964
Low rarity non-welfares to look at.

Suzu - Extremely scalable with buffs.
Letia - Thiel's sister who also does the perma-stealth off-skill with large buff from weapon thing.
Periri - Lycanthrope Conjurer and is basically most player's first DPS.
Mima - More of a meme strat, but EX2 self-destruct can solo stages as 1 Nip on my friend's list likes to do a lot.
Done/Donay - The only unit in the game with a guaranteed stun if not immune. Stun works on a weird cumulative system in this game and she's the only unit that inflicts it directly as a common healer. Nowadays they're more consistent about making bosses immune outright rather than putting stun resistance at max, but she cheesed a few bosses out of their enrage nukes.
Punema - Water squad buff and decent warlock besides that.
Anisira - the lowest rarity Shaman and very much helps carry early game while also having one of the few sources of skill CD reduction in the game. You can't go wrong with shamans in general.
Anse - one of the few low rarity units with a substantial buffing skill.
Diffnilla, Saura, and Lotona - You'll be investing in your lower rarity Paladins if only for the EX Labyrinth(red key dungeon where weapon mats drop) when you finally get to it. For most defense purposes, low and high rarity Paladins are pretty much interchangeable, so it's not a waste.

Regarding the EX Labyrinth, it has explicit low rarity challenges among its floors, so you can pretty much invest freely in all your rares and commons as there aren't that many of them while also being dirt cheap. There's epic and below floors(E, R, and C) and a few rare and below floors(Just R and C). It's a good way to keep low rarity investment from ever being considered wasteful.

>>1955968
If you intend to CC3 them. There's no real particular stat breakpoints with level, but CCs let you put on the next tier of equipment. If they seem like they could use more stats, then level them.

>two anons recommending hariella now
i guess that redeploy's pretty ridiculous, yeah. you don't always need it but when you need it it's pretty bullshit.

also as an aside since the other two anons have pretty much covered the bases for recommended/suggested girls to use I'm just going to say that as far as labrynth subskills go getting fast charger is one of the first things you should probably aim for since -4 off of initial and reuse skill cooldowns is invaluable and with the right set-ups you can even cause certain girls to auto-activate their skill, like letting the majority of monks pull a budget start charger or turn certain lancers like okyuu into instead cost refund on deploy. the game's definitely at the place where you can choose your own difficulty by restricting your party of girls, but it's nowhere near as broken as the other two td games are yet.

Out of curiosity, pastebin anon, what is your favorite girl?
Design/personality wise, I mean (although if they're just really fun to use that's perfectly respectable to)

NTA but I got Oncidium yesterday and she's honestly pretty fun! Her weapon lets her move for no cost, which combined with her class giving her attack buffs after she finishes moving is pretty good, and her skill gives wind allies a huge damage bonus during skill plus she gets a damage buff dependent on her movement speed. I don't think she's broken but she's definitely quite strong and very fun to use.
And also very cute. Her dance is adorable.
>>1955979
Also figured I'd mention that as far as walls go I've actually ended up getting significantly more usage out of Pteria the Hippocampus Girl than I expected to (at least compared to two of those, Rotona's still really strong), so while I agree with you on a lot of stuff I felt like she's worth a mention as well. She's still absurdly durable like the other walls as expected of her class but she's also ridiculously mobile and can easily reposition to just block off different pathways, and her ability to charge without attacking (even though her damage is a pittance compared to a charger like Perili) has also allowed her to avoid OHKO attacks that other walls either got killed by or were unable to escape from due to their slower movement and getting bogged down by attacking mobs. She's been a very pleasant surprise for me, as I didn't expect her to turn out so well and if I'm not using Aqua/Okyuu or Anni!Pelorus at this point it's usually her.

Looks-wise girls on the more loli side and personalitywise girl-failures.
Damstow is unironically one of my favorites along with Rakion and Chupina. Okyu was my preregistration starter and Lagos was my favorite when first playing the game at launch. I love Pinda and Pupiperuza's dynamic as I really enjoy when a girl has to switch to being the tsukkomi/responsible one. Lapinus lowkey being the sensible type also falls under that category. Fetish-wise, consensual choking is one of my holy grails and I love Mealus for it. My favorite design in the game is probably Mezier because I also like piercings along with Yura who's also quite high up for me, but both are sadly on the more forgotten side of things. Outside of monmusu, Eloise/the Trio are also favorites for the reasons stated.

As a guy who's gone over literally every girl in the game, there's a lot of girls I can list honestly. I appreciate most everybody at least and I'm not really the type to dislike anybody as well so I can't say I have a least favorite either.
>>
>>1956339
I appreciate you talking in-depth about the girls you like, it's always really nice to see. So thanks! You and I have a lot of opposite tastes, but there's nothing wrong with that. I honestly just like monster girl design as a whole, even if I'm not attracted to a lot of them, because I just think they're really fun. I'm not into lolis, but I do think Raikon has an extremely inventive design. I don't think I've ever seen a hecatoncheires girl before and the greek pillar aesthetic is honestly pretty sick with how she pulls it off, she just looks really cool. Yura is also one of the coolest looking girl too, the way they pulled off the Hydra just makes her look awesome and she's always fun to use. So at the very least you're not alone in thinking she's great.
>Okyuu
Absolutely Based; although I admit I never really saw her as a loli so much as a girl with a babyface (although in her moving portrait she does looks totally dwarfed by those tentacles), but she's still easily my favorite Monster Girl in the game by a landslide at this point either way. She's friendly, shockingly sensible, very accomplished and also just hilarious. I'm incredibly grateful I was able to meet her so quickly, judging by how trying to recruit Okyuu seems to be a meme overseas.
There's honestly a lot of really cool or inventive designs I like here though so trying to list anything after her would be a really long list. I usually prefer Harpies, but oddly enough there's not actually that many I got attached to here. I guess I just really prefer it when they have wing-arms, and not both arms and wings? There were some I did like early on but that I got put off of eventually for one reason or another, too. Although I still don't dislike them.

But I do really like Okyuu and Yura. It's really a shame that they're the only two girls that Orihira has done so far, he's a fantastic artist. Hopefully Yura will get an alt of her own.
>>
>>1956339
>Looks-wise girls on the more loli side and personalitywise girl-failures.
You're my brother man. Definitely my favorite type in any game I play, I tend to be easily convinced to pick up any random game if I see a cute loli that pushes my buttons though me sticking with it depends on the game itself.
>>
>>1956339
Also, I've grown to appreciate Damstor for being the sheer fountain of comedy that she is; the shitshows she keeps causing on the wiki's comments sections are fucking hilarious to watch even if one anon was doomposting over them a while back. Even now they still keep bringing her up. Her introduction was also great. Chupina's a good girl too; even if I'm not into her she's pretty nice and I'm glad she got to make friends with the bumbling scientist. Even if I'm not a fan of her space suit, Chupas are just my favorite cryptid, and if there was going to be anything in this game that's comically overpowered it's nice that it's a Chupa. I can't really be surprised at her winning the last poll, since doubtless there's a lot of people who used her to beat things they couldn't have otherwise, and that's always going to endear a character to a playerbase.
>Lapinus
>Sensible
that's the vorpal bunny, right? is she really?
that's honestly really funny to imagine. I would never have guessed that.
>least favorite
you know I've never actually given that thought, there's shockingly very few girls I actively dislike here. almost any nitpick I do have with any given girl is never about the girl herself, it's just a critique about the design. I'd have to actually think about it.

>>1956399
>I tend to be easily convinced to pick up any random game
For me it's Cute Harpy Girls and I'll be willing to try damn near anything so long as the game itself seems like it's fun.
>>
>>1956391
>>1956401
Fun fact, I am the one who got into an argument with you about Chupina's design(from a character and graphical standpoint). I am also the one who shilled this game in /mggg/ during the 3rd MGQ collab and wrote up a list of bird girls for you. I always wondered why your focus shifted to Okyu so much over the harpies and other birdgirls.
>>
Should I be farming either of the currently ongoing events as a new player? The Kumafes one and the other one with the healer girl.
>>
>>1956412
The other event doesn't really have anything to farm, and you won't really get anything out of farming the kumafes one since there isn't a welfare and it didn't restock, so if you already got all the tickets and gear you need, then you don't really need to do it. if you're new though it might be a good idea to get all the gear you can from it, since it'll save you time later.
>>
>>1956412
Star events(clear stages to upgrade welfare) have 0 farming requirements outside of a complete stages 20 times overall by the end of the event which is basically 9 extra skips on the lowest stamina stage or any stage with equipment you might be short on.

Shop events you farm until you get everything you want from the shop out of it.
>>
>>1956406
I kinda suspected, but never really knew for certain. I did really appreciate you making the list of Cute Harpy Girls however (I kept it for reference), so thank you for that as well anon! I think the discussion over Chupina was amicable enough, or at least I remember it ending amicably enough and you and I understanding the other's point of view. I'd still prefer a "nature's pinnacle of evolution" style chupacabra girl at some point, but even if I don't like how she looks, I do think I've still come to appreciate how ambitious she was for trying to find a way to fuse the two ideas. even if i still think the spear has logistical issues, that's really the only thing that does genuinely bother me about her still at this point lol

>I always wondered why your focus shifted to Okyuu so much
You know it's funny, even though I can pinpoint the exact moment that this started to happen (which was the very first time I met Okyuu, which was EXTREMELY memorable and fucking hysterical, pic related) I'm still kind of surprised that it did. Half of this comes down to just how incredible I ended up finding Okyuu to be and how much she beat the odds by having a lot of things that should freak me out but ending up genuinely lovable and sincere anyways, I could probably go on a while about her.
But even at the time, I think there was already stuff about most of the harpies that was just kinda putting me off a bit about them. I'm not really attracted to most of them, either. And there also ended up being a lot of stuff about Charis that ended up turning me off of her a lot, too. I'm still fond of her, sure, but in a 'that's nice' way to me now I guess, which is strange since she was one of the girls I initially liked the most.
I guess it's complicated, but can roughly boil down to
>I prefer the MGQ Harpies
>Okyuu ended up being the most memorable girl on the island
>>
>>1952047
oh right now that i'm thinking about it you pulled Yura too right? I'd train her up as well she's genuinely pretty solid and helped me out a lot. She's extremely durable, and her base skill allows her to deal a truckload of single-target damage to anything that can be poisoned, and she ended up being pivotal for some of my clears on harder stuff like a couple of the MAX bosses. Her EX II also lets her deal with crowds of enemies and is pretty good in it's own right.

Haven't posted about patching the game in a while because I've been feeling physically out of it lately but here's my progress and solutions in case anyone else was interested or wanted to mess around with it. Gonna take a break from messing around with this myself but here's my findings.

>Problem:
Monmosu's text gets cut off during story which makes it impossible to read
>Solution:
One of the workarounds here
https://github.com/bbepis/XUnity.AutoTranslator/issues/805
Patching the game resources as suggested seems unrealistic so the more realistic suggestion from the thread seems to simply either redirect the text resources as suggested or have the translation already prepared.

If you can intercept the source text with a script and simply output it to clipboard then a lot more solutions for translation open up.

>Problem:
The TL for Monmosu's UI looks -AWFUL-
>Solution:
Sanitize input before sending it to a translator using a pre-processor.
The culprit behind the translation getting mangled is tags like <cspace\=0> getting sent to the translator which causes the translator to see <indent\=-6%><cspace\=-1>リ<cspace\=0>セ<cspace\=-5>ット instead of リセット
The solution seems somewhat easy enough to implement and would vastly improve TL patch quality but I worry that using such a wide net might have unforeseen issues in the games which I don't feel like dealing with at the moment.

Alternatively, another solution would be to just open the game, have the game auto-translate every UI element and then open the file to manually replace the mangled translations to what they should be so the game isn't translating the UI on the fly but simply replacing the untranslated text with the provided translation one.
>>
>>1956439
Auto translating every UI element and then replacing it manually is the simpler method, though it requires you to search up every issue manually which takes a lot of time.
>>
>>1956481
It's around 2k~ text lines from what my text editor tells me if you want to do it that way and not every line is broken or UI related. At least it's an one and done solution since it's not like they're going to overhaul the UI in the future and new stuff could be knocked out in five minutes or less if they add new modes or features.
>>
>>1956490
>>1956481
>>1956439
NTA, but would a tool like grepwin be useful for the replacement part? even if I'm not using the DMM Launcher, that tool's been helpful for correcting things like this in other situations for me, so I figured I'd suggest it in case it'd be helpful here
>>
>>1956495
Not really because the lines get mangled in unpredictable ways so you'd have to first find the messy line that looks like

<indent\=-1.5%><cspace\=-1>レ<cspace\=-0>ベ<cspace\=1>ル<cspace\=0>選択=<indent\=-1.5%><cspace\=-1>Re<cspace\=-0>Be<cspace\=1>le<cspace\=0>choice

This is completely unusable because the translation is worthless and the line is unreadable to man or machine so first you have to make it readable by applying a regex that removes all tags to get

レベル選択=ReBelechoice

Which still makes no sense so you fix it to

レベル選択=Level Selection
or
レベル選択=Lv. Select

But it's still not good enough because the game will be looking for that mess of tags so the end product would end up looking like

<indent\=-1.5%><cspace\=-1>レ<cspace\=-0>ベ<cspace\=1>ル<cspace\=0>選択=Lv. Select

And then it's a constant process of deciphering, translating, formatting, repeat. Very easy stuff that could be done by literally anyone since even a non-Japanese speaker could simply plug it to DeepL or a LLM but it's also extremely tedious and boring work.
>>
>>1956519
>Not really because the lines get mangled in unpredictable ways
that's understandable. I'm not going to benefit from this either way since I play on the browser, I just thought I'd see. Seems it just best done by hand then.
>it's also extremely tedious and boring work
It's true, but trying to work around this would probably cause problems. Sometimes there's no better solution unfortunately.

nta but if that was your first time seeing her then i can see how being abruptly told 'oh yeah by the way there's this girl who cuts off her legs to deep fry them for her fast food chain' would be a fucking curveball if you hadn't gotten accustomed to the insanity of the island yet so it makes sense it would stand out. i don't think there's anyone who dislikes her. if you care about 'sensible people' (so, has both common sense/backbone and isn't retarded) then there's only a small number of girls that count for that and i dont think any of the bird girls would counter at all except for fermi. even ather kills him in one of her stories and then resurrects him like she didn't get the problem since she has endless revives.

nicewell judging by the wheel I think Flower Knight Girls is the most reasonable guess, but I wonder if there'll be another MMTD Girl who gets to show up in one of these. >ather kills him in one of her stories
hey whoa whoa whoa are you talking about Aether the Phoenix Girl? I ended up getting attached to Okyuu as Best Girl and nothing's changing that at this point but Aether was one of the girls I was originally hoping to run into the most and I've been waiting to look at her stuff for when I finally found the 'original' one. Doesn't this game have no actual death in it? Is this something that sounds better in the bizarro context of this setting or just sounds worse than it actually is?
>>
>>1956671
no lol she burns him to death as part of her idol performance and it’s made clear when she brings him back to life that it was an agonizingly painful way to die and he absolutely remembers the experience and understandably is not happy about it. it’s kind of surprising since she’s the first girl and played such a big part in saving him so I never really got why they had her do that. I don’t know if he got killed by anyone else, but that’s the only time I can remember where he just straight up dies.
it’s still pretty funny though. she gets indignant about it.
>>
>go read it myself

>I love it when Monster Girls are aware of their unique and special talents and actively make use of them for EXACTLY this kind of thing, to do something special that nobody else would be able to do, so that sounds perfectly fine by me
>This is part of why I love Okyuu so much in the first place even for just how brilliantly ingenious her mundane application of all her absurd biology is
>But the problem is that Atheel believes that for the performance they have planned so far, the "Phoenix Girl-ness" (that's how she says it) is still lacking
>So she asks Master what he thinks the #1 Defining Trait of a Phoenix is
>"uh, is it healing?"
>No, it's Reincarnation clearly
>So she wants to work that into her next performance
>"But how?"
>Why I'll light a fire on the stage and rise from the flames a newly reincarnated 'me' of course!
>Since Atheel has done this many times and also keeps her memories every time, there isn't a risk of identity/memory loss, or sense of death
>But Master panics and shoots it down
>Presumably he doesn't know that, so he's just worried he'll lose the Atheel that he knows
>So she decides to rethink it since Master mentioned the healing part
>Which then leads to her deciding to burn and revive him instead
>Atheel is so detached from life and death that she doesn't get why he's freaking out
>WHY DO I HAVE TO BE BURNED AT THE STAKE
>Don't worry Master, I'll be with you!
>THAT'S NOT THE POINT
>There's absolutely no danger!
>I FEEL NOTHING BUT DANGER

>ATHEEL
>ATHEEEEEEEEEEEEL

>He subsequently loses consciousness and wakes up in her arms
>But for "some unelaborated reason", they never used this performance

Ok on one hand that's some holy shit levels of bird-brainage right there and I'm pretty shocked that they actually did take it that far, but on the other hand, it's fucking hilarious that they DID take it that far, she's still just as sweet and friendly as the other main Phoenix Girl I know (who also has developed a bizarre perception of mortality from being a phoenix) and the only difference is she doesn't ever kill you, and the only reason Atheel winded up killing him in the first place is because he essentially didn't have faith in her reincarnation ability and Master accidentally talked Atheel into killing him and made her think it was HIS idea and he was just nervous about actually following through on it.

I don't know how I really feel about it as far as it impacting how I see Atheel herself but while I feel kinda bad for him it's kind of his own fault on this one lmao

Not really no. Even putting undead humans aside there's plenty of girls who get introduces either nearby or hiding behind corpses. Undeniably there's a lot of girls who killed people at some point. It's just not normally shown, and everyone who did die is implied to have just been a poacher (or imperial soldier) so it just kinda never really stands out that much I guess.

That'd be genuinely kino, Suzu suddenly returning to being a normal human for a period of time would honestly be a really cool idea. It also kind of pairs with Oncidium turning from a human into a Monster Girl when she arrived as well.

Yeah, his extreme caution makes a lot of sense given how some things turn out.
On the subject of that though, honestly I don't really know what the answer is either, but when you take into account that "Shota Matter" is an actual quantifiable elemental force in this world with real tangible effects that Lico has dedicated herself to the research of, and Master's shotamatter energy levels are powerful enough to exorcise demons (which I think has happened at least twice) I've come to assume the reason is because he's just possessed of such potent divine shota energy particles that he's basically immune to all manner of dark and/or unholy things. He can't be cursed by the tablet or by Diforia because he's simply too pure.

They cut it off so I can't tell if her tail is bladed or has a stinger yet, but the silhouette definitely looked like a scorpion's tail and it's odd if they gave it one since the Mushussu is supposed to be very serpentine and had a distinct snake-like tail or just an outright snake as the tail. I can't tell if she has wings either, or if that's just her clothes. Either way, I guess I was close? I'll probably pass and keep saving though.

Think about it
They have humanoid bodies so do they give birth like humans or do they lay eggs to reproduce?
>>
>>1961016
>>1961039
You know humorously I've had this conversation at least two times before, but while the Harpies involved in those discussions simply told and informed you that they laid eggs, for some (rather bizarre) reason on the island they actually have numerous scenes where the focus is on the harpy or bird girl laying an egg or multiple eggs. I was bemused the first time it happened since it played out more like a doctor helping a patient with a medical issue (egg is stuck, I need help to get it out) but then by the third or fourth time it turned out to be the direction that a scene involving a bird girl was going in I was just baffled that they were so many of them and almost all of them had an identical set-up. whoever wrote the end of Perili's second scene should get smacked by her watermelon-exploding club, it was needlessly mean. Poor girl. It's not even erotic, or at least not any of the times they did it. It's a bit of an awkward mood killer for one scene I did like and then a weird physical examination for the others. Like some kind of episode of Monmusu MD.

If you're curious about the logistics specifically, then just remember Ostriches exist. Ostriches are HUGE, the largest extant birds, and yet Ostrich chicks on average hatch only ten inches tall before rapidly growing in size over their first couple of years. Ostrich eggs, the largest extant egg among birds, are also the smallest egg-to-bird size ratio as they're roughly the size of an open hand.
Given adult Ostriches are generally larger than the average adult Harpy is often depicted at, since Harpies need to be relatively lightweight in order to fly, I've always believed that Harpy Eggs would generally be smaller than an Ostrich Egg, and if it's smaller than an Ostrich Egg then it's reasonable to see how one would be able to lay them.
the egg sizes here are inconsistent at best and make no sense though, which also bothers me about them.
>>
Are there still normal animals in the island? Such as actual cows or real chicken instead of cowgirls and chicken girls
>>
>>1961064
well "weird" isn't quite right maybe; I found Fermi's first scene to be intriguing and interesting, but for absolutely ZERO reasons related to sexual action or eroticism. I genuinely just like Monster Girl biology, so the whole thing playing out like a medical tape on her Harpy biology was just kind of enjoyable purely for the study of it, and not it being like some kind of sex thing. It's also the only one I feel like did the "egg laying" part in a way that didn't look really awkward somehow.

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I think part of the reason so many of these look awkward to me is, in a way, related to at least one of the reason why I ended up not really getting that invested in a lot of the 'bird girls'; I think they just didn't really give enough bird traits to them. Almost all of them have human arms and then wings on the back or sides, which kind of detracts from the Harpy/Bird-aspect and often makes them cluttered; I can only really recall Atheel Waemawa and Fermi (and the simurgh i can't remember the name of) having actual wing arms that didn't look like cosplay.
A lot of them also lack a lot of feathers, and almost all of them have completely bare (literal chicken) legs devoid of any covering, to the point it makes the girl look oddly naked and the talons out of place, like they're just on a shaved stump that abruptly narrows down into the bird part. Some of them don't even look like they have an actual bird leg; the "talon" is drawn more like a decorative shoe at the end of a normal un-scaled human leg. And some of them don't even have talons at all! They just have full human legs, and at that point when you're without feathers or talons or etc then that's just a human girl with wings on her back like a serial number was filed off. Fermi's one of the only ones who actually HAS bird legs with feathers on them, but she still barely has any leg feathers.
>>
>>1961097
Yeah that's probably part of it at least, I tend to only really get attached to girls I get early on and then get invested in, but even then I got summer Atheel early on and yet I never really got that invested or attached to her. I wonder why. Maybe she just didn't feel that memorable?
Or maybe I like Harpies so much that my standards have just been set really high at this point.
Hmmm. I still like a large number of the Harpy/Bird-Girls, at least. I guess it's just one of a few reasons.
>>1961093
They have Holsteins, remember? They're cows, they're even named after one of the most famous dairy breeds. it's implied they either eat or molest people but it's dropped in a single line and then deliberately never brought up again as a joke. They're also shown to have chickens and other normal animals, and some fantastical animals (dogs/cats/snakes/birds/crabs/sharks/etc).

What in the world is a Mushussu?
>>
>>1961344
In a lot of games, Collaboration Characters tend to be a lot more powerful than the usual balance, and I've seen a lot of people prior complaining that they feel like a lot of the collaboration characters have started to outshine the island's own residents. So it's very understandable if that ended up being the case. You could always bench one or both of them if you want to, and see if you enjoy it more that way. I think the early game isn't too difficult, but some of the later stuff can be really enjoyable and fun challenge if you tackle it the way the devs had intended you to, and it's honestly a lot more fun and intricate than I ever expected it to be.
>>1961488
The Mushussu (as it's an individual), is a babylonian dragon vanquished by Marduk (the patron being worshipped in babylon) who thereafter became his servant and a symbol for him in general. It's a pretty bizarre amalgamation of various stitched together body parts; it has the forearms of a lion, the hindlegs of an eagle, a long neck and elongated snake-like head with two curved horns wearing either a crest or crown, and a lithe serpentine tail that either tapers into a point or is simply another snake. It's main body is scaled (apparently sometimes described as "the torso of a fish"), and some depictions occasionally showed it as having bird-like wings as well.
>>
>>1961667
>You could always bench one or both of them if you want to, and see if you enjoy it more that way
It's less that it makes the game not fun and more that I worry about the future since this is going to be the measuring stick I'll be using for future units going forward.

Also, when can I expect reruns for certain characters? I like Lulu's design a lot and she's fun to play too so I'd love to roll for her but no idea when they rerun certain characters.

>a lot of overseas* players prior complaining on it's wiki*
I think there's only one or two anons in these threads who actually care to that extent, but I definitely saw a lot of japanese fans bemoaning how they felt like the girls they cared about were being 'replaced'. granted on one hand around the time I saw most of those comments they later on made Anniversary!Raikon who's the single strongest character in the game, but on the other hand she's also cash gated while the majority of worthwhile collab characters just have to be rolled for. I still think there's plenty of OG Girls who have plenty of strength and fighting power to stand out at least. Okyuu's basically solo'd several bosses at this point, and in three cases was literally the sole individual delivering DPS to them and she's pretty awesome.

>>1961673
>It's less that it makes the game not fun and more that I worry about the future since this is going to be the measuring stick I'll be using for future units going forward.
In all fairness besides the "I want the resident/past characters to not get made obsolete by limited time collabs" point that's the other main complaint I generally see regarding them, but that one isn't limited to collaboration characters either, it's been coming up for newer girls in general. So it's understandable to have that kind of worry, yeah.
>when can I expect reruns for certain characters
I asked the same thing when I first joined and I'll just tell you what I was told in turn, which is "No idea, old characters don't get reruns very often nowdays". All of the OG Girls who I grew to love and really really wanted I ended up luck pulling with based kraken riggingthe Heart of the Monster Girls, except for Atheel who I still haven't gotten. Of those girls the only one who had a rerun was Okyuu herself as part of a group banner a while back.
>>
>>1961685
>I asked the same thing when I first joined and I'll just tell you what I was told in turn, which is "No idea, old characters don't get reruns very often nowdays"
That's a shame, I wanted to roll for the magical girl Lulu because she's cute and I think it's funny that she gets a gigantic laser that spans the entire screen. I saw that she has a more recent warrior version but it's both paid and it feels worse to use.
>>
>>1961679
Yeah. Hilariously it's actually Nonoa and not Anni!Raikon I seen most commonly complained about for that despite Nonoa just being broken for her ridiculous buffing, to the point I've seen at least five different users who confessed that they decided to just perma-bench her because they thought she made everything too easy. I've even seen some lamenting that the game is "solved" because of these overpowered characters.
Even though, you know, you could just NOT buy them. Since those two are cashgated, after all. I hope no girl I like gets cashgated or given something broken to that degree but you still aren't required to use them. You can always just stick to the more balanced girls.
>>1961673
Oh right, I think it's important to ask which one of Lulu's costumes you're talking about now that I think about it.
The Original Lulu falls into the "will get a rerun once in a blue moon" category, but if you're referring to the magical girl version of her that shoots laser beams then that's her school costume, and that one gets periodically rerun when they rerun school stuff, so you'll have a better chance of being able to find her without needing to hope and pray on luck-pulling her. I managed to luck into the original one at least. I'm not attracted to her, but I do think she's a very cute carbuncle. She's also just a neat healer, too.
>>
>>1961690
>magical girl Lulu
Ok good to clear that up, you'll be more likely to find her at least compared to the original Lulu, since she'll get rerun whenever they rerun the other school alts. It's like how SS!Okyuu is more easily obtainable than the original Okyuu is, because she's always rerun with the summer batches. I guess appropriately both of them are also stronger than the original versions as well since they're both incredible DPS, even if their original selves are still pretty solid in their own ways.
>>1961680
I think he's referring to how MW Aigis got powercrept to oblivion; having played Aigis he's not kidding either as I only started at the end of last month and already got to the endgame content and it's still pretty much a cakewalk to clear them.
>>
>>1961690
>paid and feels worse to use.
it's just not fair, man
>>
>>1961692
>>1961685
The skill disparity between units feels weird honestly. You have characters where their skill is stuff like "Increase attack and HP for X seconds and maybe increase attack speed" that feel very vanilla then there's other units that suddenly turn into multi-hitters, deal AOE damage, get a stat boost, a massive range increase and some other good stuff buff thrown on top all in one skill.
It's like they decided some units aren't allowed to be good while others get literally everything.
>>
>>1961697
Paid + Broken might be even worse since you'd feel bad at being locked out of a fun version of your favorite.
>>
>>1961701
I think that's just an unavoidable consequence of the game by design having to add new characters and older characters being balanced with a lower scale in mind. It's not even just their skills, this extends to the traits. In general this just happens in any game that goes on for long enough. Some examples are more extreme than others, but after a certain point the criteria for creation just shifts to something radically different from it's origin.
That being said however there's a lot of girls who have seemingly complicated traits or skills that in-practice are actually pretty simple and fun in their own unique ways. And some of those girls are still top tier and incredibly fun to use. But there is an uptrend recently of more and more girls who have trait/skill combinations that instead of just doing one or a few things to give them a niche, they instead do pretty much everything in one.
>>1961703
NTA but I think "Paid" is just painful and unfortunate regardless of how the girl turns out. Especially if you like how the power-up looks.
>>
>>1961710
Yeah, paid is fucked either way but paid+good makes you sad but feel somewhat tempted to buy while paid+bad makes you just sad.
>>
Also while on the subject of this I figured I'd mention that having actually tried SS!Drifnela's EX II now out of curiosity, it ironically doesn't feel anywhere near as overpowered as it was described to me as, because every time I used her 90% of the enemies just walk through the fire patches while only taking some chip damage off of it; she wasn't even able to deal significant damage to the restoration golems and the flying ones pretty much ignored them entirely, and she got killed pretty quickly when she couldn't deal with the poachers or the flying machines because the actual damage of her arrows themselves just isn't very good. On the maps where I used her, her range wasn't large enough to let her shoot the enemies being blocked at the bottlenecks without getting swiftly killed in retaliation either. When she was able to, she did leave a couple of patches that quickly killed several poachers but she immediately got nailed by the archers and didn't make a big dent in their numbers. SS!Okyuu's new EX II at that time was able to provide the AoE needed to clean out the poacher mob while staying out of their range, and I think I just ended up using Suzu and Monk Bombs to deal with the other side.
So I think she's honestly not as bad of an example of powercreep as some have made her out to be. It just depends on if the map will let her position in a way that lets her set them up at a bottleneck presumably, and otherwise if you can't immobilize enemies during her skill then the only things she can really threaten are enemies that seldom move at all, which is why she just melts the bosses that lack physical resilience. She's not really that broken, she's just extremely powerful in specific situations and niche outside of them.
>>
>>1961711
That's fair, yeah.....alas........
>>
yeah she has a scorpion tail, bizarre. the thing clearly always has a snake tail, so if you're going to go with a hyper-specific chimera I'm not sure why they'd change that part. Maybe they wanted to hybridize the thing with the scorpion-men?

I really, really love Waemawa's design and outfit, it's pretty peak. She's also hilarious in every scene she's in too. Plus she actually does have the proper bird legs. If she just had some feathers on her legs she'd be perfect but I still really like her either way. If I'd gotten her sooner there's a good chance I'd have gotten attached to her over Okyuu.

But maybe not. Okyuu's just special. Also this game is letting me fulfill the Sea Dweller Only Run I always wanted to do but never actually did and Kansai Kino is exceedingly hard to beat. But Authentic Thunderbirb comes dang close.
>>
Wow, the Chupina machine gun made me turn off the game's audio.

>Charis finally gets to show up again
>She's trying to imitate the speech mannerisms of all the older girl's teasing behaviors but she can't pull it off
>"Piii...... uh, uhhmmm......!"
>"I, I'm here too......you know~......?"
>It turns out the entire second training match this time isn't (just) for (you); it's actually for Charis herself, because the 'motherly' Monster Girls are trying to teach her how to be seductive and confident

I can't help but feel like this is unusually specific and also oddly directed at me
is it because I stopped finding her attractive despite still really liking her a lot, and continuing to keep her around as one of my favorites? I can't help it her outfit is just a huge turn off. She looks like she's naked and shivering the poor girl, I just want to give her some clothes.

I feel like an asshole now.
>>
>>1962223
I think Charis is pretty cute and attractive in both her designs. The contrast of the extremely lewd outfit and her shy appearance just makes her more endearing to me, like a shy girl trying too hard to be seductive.
>>
>>1962228
That's because she is very cute, and I do think she's adorable. I just don't see her in 'that way' anymore, is all, I guess. I'm not sure if it's just the outfit or if there's anything else that's why. But she's still one of my favorites and looking at her just makes me want to comfort her. Plus she's been a huge help, once Charis unlocked her EX II Skill (which is obtained from these Ranchiki Festival Events) it allowed her what she needed to become a surprisingly huge source of damage since it gives her a ranged AoE magic attack that can petrify things and spike her 2.5x damage conditional. I've seen her hit over 300,000 on individual attacks before and it's still pretty awesome when she does. I wish she got more screentime, like other girls have.
>>
I decided to take all the tags (Except the element ones) on the first stage because I wanted a challenge and to my surprise I was actually able to clear. Hard as balls but doable, just the way I like it.
What is worth picking up from this shop anyway or what is good?
>>
>>1962237
>Hard as balls but doable, just the way I like it.
Based, congrats anon. Man of good taste.
The EX II Skills you want to aim for depend on the girls you actually have, but if there's any I'd point to for "get this first" then it's Hariella's (the welfare harpy queen from the event archive) for just the sheer usefulness and practically of it and the options it can open up if you want to use it. For it's duration it lets you redeploy any girl within 12 seconds after retreating them and gives a near-full refund for their cost, and this includes Hariella herself so you can do a lot with it. At the bare minimum, if your team is about to get wiped by a boss attack or enemy flood, she basically acts as a safety net to let everyone come back quickly. But you can also do things like use it to turn Airen into a bomber plane by having her just airdrop everything constantly.
If you do like Charis then she really does need her EX II skill a lot, too. The difference between how she feels with and without it is like night and day.

When is the next batch of limited stuff? TD fes? Anniversary? Need to roll for more strong characters
>>
>>1962269
Unless another collaboration happens, the next anniversary will be coming up in a couple months. TD Festival will be after that. They're currently rerunning the Half-Anniversary awakened girls however if you want to roll for any of them. The Banner they're rerunning them on is also a 'pick up' banner where you can choose the one who has the highest chance to appear if there's one you are in particular.
Anni!Waemawa and Anni!Velatu are extremely powerful but not to the point of being broken (although Velatu comes pretty close), Anni!Petra is "decent" on a mechanical level but objectively one of the best team fillers in the game purely because she takes up no deploy slots as a bard and universally buffs every single character's health and attack just from being organized into the team, Anni!Tellu is mediocre, and Anni!Franci is tragically worse than her original version due to how the gimmick she was built around works when compared to how normal Franci's weapon can make her pretty bullshit when she's buffed enough.

I've never really used Anni!Mauro, and I don't really know how good she actually is. So I don't feel like I can comment on her.

>>
>>1962402
It's the Karice from Cockatrice.
>>
Personally, i'm going to put the cock in cockatrice.
>>
>>1962413
Fun Fact!
Did you know that when it comes to the fables of Cockatrices, one of the few weaknesses that they were claimed to have was that, should a Cockatrice ever hear the crowing of a Rooster, it would drop dead on the spot? It's true!
When Charis asks the Master to put his dick in her to help her get out an egg that's stuck, it also turns out that Charis is a super virgin who's particularly more vulnerable to pleasure and the sensations of sex compared to other monster girl, to the point she completely forgets the reason she asked for it in the first place.
She is literally weak to cock.
>>
>>1962471
I don't understand how those scenes work honestly, the "Dick me to get this egg out" though maybe I'm just not cut out to be a Monster veterinarian.
>>
>>1962486
>I don't understand how the "Dick me to get this egg out" works
It doesn't.
The reason I singled out Fermi's situation as being the only one that made logical sense for that purpose and also feeling like a medical exam is because that's not what actually happens in it; Fermi comes up to the Master and informs him that she needs help to get an egg out because while she normally does this just fine on her own, her wing is currently broken and so she's unable to do it herself; the protagonist 'fingers' her while he's trying to use his hands to get it out.
When Perili tells him she's going to lay eggs and wants him to 'feel' them, it's made clear pretty quickly that she's telling the truth and is very proud of her eggs because she wants to have children she's also just trying to take advantage of the situation (she tried to bulldoze her way into forcing him to sign a marriage contract right before this and also proposed him signing with his blood) and leglocks him when he tries to pull out. they're unfertilized, and she only finds this out after finally laying them and then setting up a nursery and then waiting for them to hatch. she's mentioned to have gotten very depressed over this and it's never brought up again. I have no idea who's idea it was to end a scene with what feels like a bird miscarriage but it was needlessly cruel.
By contrast if I'm remembering correctly Charis originally just had trouble laying eggs in the first place and the protagonist got Fermi to help her in his stead because he didn't know what he was supposed to do. She just comes back later when there's still a couple left and she can't find Fermi, and "idk just use your dick to scrape them out i guess?" is the best idea she can come up with because of porn logic reasons.
the egg laying itself isn't sexy, in any case. I just find the stealth pun associated with charis to be kinda funny. the scene is good besides the poor justification and that one part.
>>
I always love when these come around they're just so fun.

>>1962629
Even Okyuu got to contribute a lot more this time beyond just raking in money, she was a massive wall and even took down a lot of minions as well as Leita! Also since I lack a lot of physical damage for water characters (especially for range) I gave SS!Okyuu the pierce damage subskill to go with octoshot and she actually contributed a significant amount of DPS as a result despite the -50% magic damage penalty, she even took down several of the other characters too and sniped Damstor out of the sky before she could get too far.

Although the main contributor here was really Mystrana for her absurdly powerful whirlpool combo helping to deal with a lot of the mobs as well as the two starting enemies and then Yura the Hydra, because I just placed her down and then uses her EX II and she obliterated Titania, Belphagor and the Shadow Lantern and then moved her to deal with Thiele and pretty much everything else that entered her vicinity when she used it.
For that one anon who just started and also pulled Yura consider picking her EX II up, since you can use her. Her normal skill is better for single target DPS but the EX II one buffs her block count to take advantage of her traits, gives her attacks HP scaling and has her shoot out rapid fire AOEs in quick succession, and it let her clean house here.

yes
and yes the vivi enforced mandatory rape is also easily the worst part of the entire thing, even in the cases where the girl herself isn't actually the one doing it they're still total garbage
>>1963150
you can just play the Main Story on the SFW version of the game, where it will skip all of the scenes by default so you never even have to bother with them.
if you choose to ignore this piece of advice and decide to continue playing the main story on the NSFW version: no, it does not get better.
>>
>Vivi enforced mandatory rape
Am I raping vivi or is she raping me? Either way, that's hot.
>>
>>1963268
>am I raping vivi or is she raping me
it's neither of those; instead of just allowing the defenders to either kill invaders or beat them up and throw them off the island, vivi instead enforced 'punishment' in the sense of "x monster girl is going to either rape y antagonist or put y antagonist into a situation where something else will rape them", and there's an emphasis on it being intentionally as painful and unpleasant as possible. Vivi thinks this is somehow morally superior to just killing/detaining people and thinks it will either humble enemies or deter them from coming back. Instead it's proven multiple times that this just makes things astronomically worse for their island because of how much is galvanizes not only the victim's hatred but the hatred of their allies and turns what was originally just a job into a personal vendetta, in some cases making them far more dangerous than they would've been if they just didn't do this to them. A lot of the poachers go from "I'm capturing this girl for money" to "I'm going to kill every single girl on this island". It's even noted how some had their lives ruined, which I wouldn't think the game would feel the need to point out. I'm forced to assume this is some kind of retarded revenge fetish thing.
It's really Vivi trying to moralize and justify it that makes me dislike her for her part in it though; it's one thing to have a porn excuse in a porn game to justify sex scenes taking place, it's another to try and grandstand over them. She stops doing this, and also stops having a part in them entirely after a certain point however, and eventually the antagonist rape scenes do taper off into not involving her/'punishment' at all (although they do still happen in the main story).

she does have sex scenes but they're log-in day dependent.

I just generally try to ignore that stuff since it's really the one and only thing I don't like about the game, and also the only thing I don't like about Vivi either since she's pretty great otherwise, so I just play on the version without it and it solves the problem entirely.
>horny for vivi
You will get your first scene with her at 183 Login Days.
>>
>>1963303
It's probably just porn logic and no real need to think about it too deeply. Writers/Devs likely thought "How can we insert porn scenes into main story" and came up with that.

Ye olde DMM games like Kamihime, Magicami and others that aren't at the top of my mind right now used to think people wanted NTR and Rape in their porn games so they had a lot of hardcore or non-consensual sex in their game because they thought it was what players wanted. Turns out, it was not what players wanted at all and there was a push to move away from them or completely remove it/scrub it from the game like Kamihime did so the "hehe lets rape these adventurers hehe" scenes are likely just a relic from that era.
>>
>>1963307
I agree it's porn logic, and just an excuse used to insert something in that they then dialed back on after people didn't like it. The point I was trying to make was that their attempt to try and not make it seem like pure porn logic, and instead have Vivi or the narration start attempting to justify it a few times just makes it look a lot worse than it would have been otherwise. If they had set them up differently, a lot of them probably wouldn't have come across as poorly.
Like it's one thing if you're going to do it, but it's another thing if you do it while claiming a moral high ground, you know? Although like I said before, they did also stop doing that as well, so this isn't an issue anymore. And thankfully you can pretty much disable them anyways. Since the newer ones are set up differently now, I think that's the reason why no one really takes issue with those ones. It's only ever the early scenes I see people complaining about.
>>
>>1963330
Well, games like Kamihime took it a step further and fully removed/rewrote those scenes to distance themselves from that sort of stuff. Surprised they didn't do the same here after people complained but it's not like every game went with the full removal anyway.
>>

But I don't want sex with the futa orcs, I want to inflate Vivi until she's leaking cum from every orifice. Fairy inflation is extremely hot and this is why they should lock me up with all the fairy girls in the game.
>>
>>1963336
at the very least it's heavily implied what happened to that knight was just a dream, and she wasn't actually raped: she just knocked herself out on accident and had a dream about it. I didn't watch the scene but I still saw the part where she wakes up and realizes she's actually fine and unharmed, and another anon informed me that's also how it played out too.
>vivi is also a slut that has sex with others
that's not what I said at all

I said Vivi originally either forced or encouraged others to rape the enemy characters, or had them put those enemies into situations where something else raped them instead (goblin gang rape/orc gang rape/tentacle gang rape/etc), and then they dropped this from the event stories and toned them back everywhere else. A lot of the dungeon scenes don't get referenced again and seem to be ignored, while it's only really the early/original ones that got brought up again and thus seem canon, and Vivi stops being involved in the punishment scenes after the fifth chapter.

Vivi herself does not rape anyone at all. The only character she has sexual interactions with is the Master.

>>1963342
>futa orcs
I didn't watch it but in the scene leading up to it Podel's talking to the male orcs, like the giant pig-faced male orcs you see in the game and that she summons with her skill. I'm pretty sure it was probably those guys.
>>
Magicami actually tried to stop the NTR scenes you get from beating their Towers so they could focus on collabs they were having like every other month but the backlash was so huge they apologized and continued making them.
Really goes to show if you're catering to a niche audience, don't abandon them.
>>
>>1963367
Magicami kinda like, died though. So maybe the developers had good reasons for wanting to stop them? They had a collab with TSK and the entire thing was just pure love vanilla with zero NTR, rape or non-con implications.
>>
>>1963367
>>1963370
that sounds like it was a vocal minority and the majority just ditched the game for catering to that, which got it killed
>>
>>1963370
>zero NTR, rape or non-con implications
All four girls' scenes had them in what if bad ends and the Magicami MC gets raped by them or influenced by a very similar virus that infected the monmusus in the main story. The villain implies that if she won she would have made the TSK girls his sex slaves.
And that's why people don't like the idea of TSK collabing with Magicami.
>>
>>1963394
Yeah, the collab choice was terrible and honestly really out of touch but knowing that Magicami was the NTR and rape game, they defanged the game quite a bit for their collab with TSK since there was no rape, NTR or anything bad actually happening. I'd imagine the dev must have been a huge fan for them to seek collab with it but it just shows people aren't into that kind of stuff and just want pure love.
>>
>>1963375
I'd give them a golf clap for surviving as long as they did.
Parent company shutdown in the first year in 2019-2020 so they lost their funding/backing. They rebrand the game to be under their studio.
2021 was when they issued the apology for trying to pause NTR scenes.
End of 2022 they sell rights over to Exnoa.
2023 was when they EoS due to not meeting Exnoa's expectations.

Dead parent company is the mark of death for most games so much of their continued existence for 3 years was from big whales I guess.

>Miteras EX2 is a buff equal to 15% of her max HP
Even at a minimally invested Miteras with only like 5k HP, that's a 750 stat buff on top of the normal Shaman buff.
Ville's EX2 is also pretty amazing being a 15 second instant that triples her attack buff and lets it stack to +150%.
Seems they took off the limiters for newbie buff economy.

>>

>>1963867
I don't think that robot girl looks that bad, I think her legs are pretty well detailed and the overall design seems fine.

Granted, though, I'm not generally into robot girls that much anyways, and my favorite "Robot" Girl from anything in general is already in this game and got a slick makeover here too and getting to finally use her a lot again has been really really nice for me.
Brynhildr is simply peak robot girl design. Her getting to use the Anti-Particle Railgun by transforming her right arm into it is also awesome.
>>
>>1963876
It's a futuristic robot girl tethered to a mech through her back I assume.
That's just safe and lazy. They could've made her like an arachne.
>>
>>1963649
I like the slime girl thing on the right
>>
>>1963885
I'm willing to bet you that she's not tethered to the mech and the mech is probably just a set-piece in her background. Most of the other alien girls have similar things in their backdrops, like spaceships or minions or robots. I'd be surprised if you actually got to deploy a token version of that robot mech.
I admit that since I'm not really someone who has a particular focus on robot girls though, I'm probably not the best one to judge on if a robot girl is too "safe" or just normal/average looking, but I will say that I do think making a robot girl with a giant tripod mech design would've been really cool. If she's getting outshone to me by the thing in the background because I think that the walker mech is a better design than she is, that's probably not the best sign.

If it's another Lentora situation where the mech is the actual body and the "robot girl" is just so she can do other things like have hands for mundane purposes though that'd be a fine compromise

I decided to go back and get full Level 50 Clears on all of the stages with my Earth Team this time, since I'd finally gotten Lauren and Charis was central to one of them and I thought it'd be fun to use them again. It was a lot of fun.
Although it ended up being "Earth Team and then also Okyuu" because I legitimately cannot build up enough resources to clear any of them without her, she's just too good at her job. Even the penalty for not being earth aligned didn't matter at all because Okyuu takes half damage from everything anyways and her kraken tentacle shields ended up being what allowed me to clear the second stage by just keeping the girls from dying during two of the rushes. Everyone did good damage though and played their roles very well, and I only needed to throw out kraken tentacles for the second stage, the team could beat the other two on their own just fine. Kinda funny that the third one isn't the hardest stage this time around, since there's a lot of ways around the stealth gimmick, although it's still a really fun stage. Needing to switch between physical and magical damage dealers for the two is also neat.

>>
>>1964047
Not that anon but the one who's been making horny posts about the fairy girls and Vivi is a different anon (me). And I did get her but mostly for sex because I don't know what her arrows are going to do other than being master's personal onahole when the other ranged girls are equipped with flamethrowers and lasers.
>>
>>1964052
I put her in to dye squares for my fire team so they could get all their "gets x bonus on fire space" conditionals activated. She's capable of doing pretty decent damage spread out across herself and her tokens, and she also has her own conditional bonuses for being on a fire space, namely stealth and halved skill cooldown, so she can spam her skill more consistently and won't be attacked. If you already have something like the KumaFes collab girls then sure she doesn't look as good by comparison, but she is pretty useful.

I wouldn't underestimate arrows in general though, Suzu's DPS can get pretty ridiculous with the right set-up for her and Petra's bomb catapult with her EX II does as well.
>>
>>1964061
On the topic of powerlevels though, where do alien girls land? Do they tend to be strong? I definitely need more strong girls for my roster and have the gems for it since I'm sitting on a few pities.
>>
>>1964083
It varies, wildly. Chupina is one of the most broken characters in the game, and the Reptilian Slayzel is also very strong. Besides them, the Aliens tend to be above average in general, so I would say they're strong, but not as much as a lot of the "normal" Monster Girls. Their gimmick is their skills have five second cooldowns but require costs to activate them in the first place.
I will refrain from further comments on chupina.

I played it a bit. The gameplay seemed okay but it failed to hook me in and I didn't feel like adding it to my usual schedule so I don't plan to log back in now that I accumulated my 7 days.
Next up in line is going to be FKG then TSK and finally MTD
>>
>>1964819
Meant Mist Train Girls for the last one, my bad.
>>
>>1964819
>>1964821
that's pretty reasonable; I'll see how it fares for me
it's definitely odd and I'll probably not stick around, but the animation is quite nice at least, even if I definitely prefer TD's gameplay
>the game actually lists some trivial information about it's girls on their profiles, such as their height and birthday
>immediately pull up Airen
>birthday
>"I don't know"
>height
>"it is average"
>size
>"HOW SHAMELESS!"
isn't learning new things about the girls involved part of the fun of a collab?
>but she apparently likes the roasted duck
well, that's nice at least
>>
>>1964829
actually now that I think about it Airen supposedly existed from around the era of the original boy of genesis so her not actually remembering what day she was specifically created on or even if they had dates back then in the first place makes a lot of sense
it's still really funny when put next to everyone else though
>>
>>1964831
>>1964829
iirc, all the collab characters are like that and get flavor text that basically amounts to "No info" while the GC originals actually have their correct data in there.
>>
>>1964832
I looked at the other one and it seems to be just a bunch of [???]s while Airen has specific lines like she's actually answering those questions when asked.
>>
>>1964836
Oh, well then. My bad.
>>
>>1964856
nah it's fine anon, just think it'll be neat if I get to learn anything new about her or the island
>>
why does van gogh look like that squid v-tuber from hololive
>>
>Where's the 3rd leg? *lifts skirt flap up*
>>
>combat's pretty fun and simple
>turn based chess-board like combat with collapsing stages focused on skillful movement and combos, with both enemies and obstacles
>once the stage progresses enough a boss arrives and defeating it clears the stage
>from the base girls, even the special alts of base girls, things seem pretty fair
>and then there's Airen
>obtained two pieces of exclusive gear for her, both passively boost her damage
>Airen has her total immunity to poison and stun
>very high movement count, most skills have average or low cooldowns
>her default damaging skills have huge range and deal obscene damage, hit multiple times while pushing/pulling enemies around (which damages them every more) on top of simultaneously buffing her attack and defense, debuffing enemy defenses and the rocket punch also gives her a shield
>she also has a heal with a ridiculous radius that out-heals every healer by three times over, buffs their Max HP on top of the heal, and then ALSO summons the Valentine's Candy Golem from her Valentine's Alt
>The Candy Golem has a ludicrous range, automatically attacks everything in it's vicinity at the end of the turn and outdamages every other girl's normal attack and even outdamages most of their attack skills
>Unlock her final skill (attached) [Iron Girl's Pride]
>It not only deals absurdly huge damage to everything but deals nearly double damage on stunned targets and GIVES HER A SECOND TURN SO SHE CAN GO TWICE IN A ROW
>Fight the Robo Kuma underleveled
>she manhandles it almost entirely on her own

So, this is the true power of the Collaboration Boost......

so, is she supposed to be some kinda Shoggoth thing? I can't find any source for 'cosmoblob'.
>>1965565
I've no idea but it is kinda funny; given they're also an artist it's probably deliberate.
>>
>>1966223
From the movie The Blob is my guess. That was an alien too.
>>
>>1966240
I mean, the NAME maybe, but at least so far she doesn't seem to be anything like the blob at all beyond the surface level "slime monster" descriptor, neither the original nor the nightmarish remake version of it. It would really need to depend on how she's introduced and what she turns out to be like in order to tell. But so far she's covered in tons of eyes and eye-motifs and is making objects out of sludge, so I'd say a Shoggoth is a fair guess. If not that, then I'd just assume that the origin is otherwise a japanese reference that I'm not getting at the moment.

If she gets introduced falling from the sky and cracks herself out of a meteorite and immediately glomps onto Master's arm and tries to slime her way up his body to subsume him and otherwise wants to eat everything in general though then that'd be pretty "The Blob" like. I'm very nostalgic for that movie, honestly, with how corny the original one is. Melting Love would be the first thing that comes to my mind for "monster girl inspired by the blob", although I've never played the game it's from.
the monstrous version of it's pretty grisly in a cool way though.

Hey anons, would you this thread be interested in having a player representing it in our 4cc team?

Sure thing anon, thank you!
I would like to request Okyuu (with or without her tentacles it's kinda understandable if the latter is too much) with her nickname being along the lines of either
>It'sa Crazy (current situation)! [Octopus Party for default]
>Limit Break Fishing/Kraken Fueled Economy
>Wanna buy my Takoyaki?
>SHOOTO
since those are jokes I've seen overseas repeatedly regarding her which I also find really funny.

Sure thing, i will try to come up with something if she only exists in 2d if she makes it on the polls, except making a new 3d model from scratch, i'm only able to edit these things

I logged in excited to roll for the new girls and realized it's tomorrow and not today

Grabbed Kazune and Lulu's EX II's on the way out while I had the chance, since I'd gotten the ones I wanted at the moment already and I might as well get some for the girls I do have. Also immediately had enough points to get all the friend tickets + weapon upgrade mats, and then used the vivi medals I got from those to buy the awakening boons so Okyuu's now 4/5 because I think it'd be awesome to have her fully awakened if I'm able to get enough medals from all those subskills during the second week of the alien event.
That little +10% Tentacle Buff will just be really neat.

I think due to how much drastically shorter it is than the prior story to it, I actually managed to fully translate Airen's little isekai adventure today. Although not much happens; the journey Master had on Gespenst Island was far longer than it was, it's only two episodes and there isn't even any combat or battles, those are solely for the past one or just flavor this time I guess.

Although Airen has a one track mind the whole time about 'shamlessness' and everyone else keeps either noting or pointing out how she's the most shameless looking person they've ever seen.
The reason why the girl named Anemone being there is probably the funniest part of the whole thing: namely, there isn't one.
She just was minding her own business back in her own world and then fell down head first in a flower shop. She has no idea what's going on, has never seen anything bear-related, and is quiet and confused the entire time. When asked why she's spaced out in the flower store she claims she forgot where she was going; when asked what the destination she wanted to go to was she says she doesn't know either.
When asked why she agreed to be guided to the art museum even though she had no idea what was going on and had never heard of it before, she pretty much says it was the other person's idea and she was just following her because it seemed like a good idea. She just got roped into modeling for a painting because she's very passive and didn't want to be rude. She (and Airen, presumably) just go home a few days later.

the Baby Robot Bear is also rapidly multiplying.
>>
>>1966698
Time to play FKG next to continue the story!.

If I recall correctly, it should be Monster Musume -> Girls Creation -> Flower Knight Girl -> Twinkle Star Knight -> Mist Train Girls
>>
>>1966713
Rembrandt is going with Anemone, intentionally this time even if the bears screwed up their portals again, so she's probably going to show up in it. The artist (Bouguereau IIRC) who was badgering Airen and Anemone wanted to go with Airen, once Airen claimed that she wanted to "show off" the """"art"""" she had learned from her, but Airen immediately told her "no, I will do it on my own" and she threw a fit about how she wanted to see a bunch of sexy beautiful otherworldly women and no one was respecting her, because of the antics she did, and no one wanted to partner up with her or take her along.

She also vanished into the portals seemingly by accident but it's not made clear what's gonna happen to her or wherever she'll end up.
Had MMTD not been first in line this time she probably would've found a way to clung onto Airen for a ride or something but she's likely going somewhere at least.

I'm not very good at trying to summarizing stuff like this though so hopefully the anon who makes the summaries will be able to do one for the event chain if anyone else is curious as to what else happens.

>when deployed, burnt enemies take 2x damage
Well, now it's a 3 unit combo faster than I expected. However, at 5.7x damage, Yano and Trivera killed the boss before I could deploy Ruisha the first time.

Lich is still awkward though. Needs another damage taken multiplier between 1.15x and 1.25x to hit the sweetspot and I don't think any exist in that range. Though an extra source of current HP damage should also work.
>>
>>1966778
Any thoughts on Slime girl and Mecha girl?
>>
>>1966781
The blob is the blob. Very obscene HP with HP scaling. The stattest of statsticks. Probably better to give attack subskills as she hits 1000% buff cap trivially. Alien instant skills that aren't Chupina suffer from hyper draining your DP though. 8 DP every 5 seconds should be sustainable, but giving her chargers isn't recommended. She is still mostly just a statstick though, but she can actually cover the map with her skill quite well compared to the other Earth berserkers.

Trivera is 2x damage for everybody so long as the enemy can be burnt while also dealing massive damage herself with flame patches. She is fundamentally meta and absolutely insane with NY Yano.

seconding that anon; Slayzel (the reptilian archer) is the second best alien. If you don't care about power though since you already have so many strong aliens, you could always just pull the one you think looks the best/cutest/etc.

Honestly she feels pretty Shoggoth Like to me, especially with how she's introduced and having looked at the Tripod's description of being a former weapon of war who's class managed to suddenly develop sentience and then turned against their Martian masters; the Shoggoths were also a slave race genetically engineered to be beasts of burden for the Elder Things before gradually evolving their own sense of intellect and revolting against them in an uprising, so having a Shoggoth and a Tripod connected by the shared theme of "Rebellious Servants" would make a lot of sense and explain why those two were chosen to be together specifically. Blola is just a slightly toned-down version of them, complete with the myriad eyes and mouths and pseudo-pods.
I'm assuming "Cosmoblob" just sounds cuter, and also they just wanted to have a good reason for her to constantly say "bloloblolobloloblolo" as her tic. "Blola" is a cute name for a blob girl.
as an added bonus the remake version of The Blob had the plot twist that it was ALSO a genetic experiment created as a biological weapon before getting mutated into The Blob and falling back down to earth, and the remake Blob was SIGNIFICANTLY more nightmarish and visceral than the original version of it could have ever hoped to be and is also very much more "shoggoth-like" than the OG "rolling jello ball" was, so she could very well still be inspired by it too.
>>
>>1966999
>Blola discusses how sad she is that everyone else finds her scary, and tries to claim that "absorbing" them would feel good and make them friends
>But then remembers that "Asu-Chan" told her that "absorption is forbidden" and starts to get sad because she just wants to be friends, prompting Master to try and explain to her that they can be friends without her melting and eating them
>Shortly after they get a space phone call
>It's Asterium, the Star Returner and Space Hero:
>Asterium: 'I have just detected it, yes! It looks like you were able to meet up with Blola safely, that's good!'
>Blola: Oh, this voice is Asu-chan~blo! Asu-chan, it's Blola~!
>Asterium: 'Good afternoon! Blola! I'm relieved to see you're doing well, yes!'
>Vivi-sama: So the Asu-chan Blola was talking about was Asterium.
>Asterium: 'She is a Cosmo Blob Girl. She was once my enemy!'
>The other aliens freak out about this because she's apparently from a species infamous for destroying/eating entire planets and stars
>Except for Lumyuda, who didn't know this and pretends like she does
>It's revealed that Blola is genuinely not malicious and just sees this as "becoming friends", so Asterium didn't know what to do with her in the aftermath since she's not truly "evil"
>Asterium then explains that ultimately what she decided to do was put her on Gespenst Island and have her be in the Master's care so she could "walk the path of rehabilitation" and be made a better person by him
>Master IMMEDIATELY points out that she's dumping all the responsibility for this onto him
>Asterium doesn't even deny that, she just reaffirms that Blola isn't evil but instead 'pure and innocent', which is why she wants the Master to teach her right and wrong and thanks him before hanging up the space phone
>The aliens inform him that if he messes this up there's a non-zero chance she'll kill the entire planet
kek

Hopefully they don't powercreep any of the other girls too badly at least; the Tripod getting to actually be the Tripod and it being a Rentora situation like I had thought/hoped is pretty awesome and I'm tempted to pull her solely just for that.
>>1966747
Congrats on Lulu! I'm glad you were able to get her anon!
It's the Heart of the Monster Girls!

Also while I learned during the last event that the Ultra Warriors turned out to be inspired by the Star-Warriors of the lovecraft mythos, which kinda furthered the shoggoth idea, I then realized that Ultra Warriors from my understanding of Japan's media are a very large and influential series in it's own right and is pretty likely to have it's own large roster list of space monsters to choose from, so I just went ahead and looked up "Ultra Warriors Blob".

And it turned up pic related, which even has the exact same color scheme and giant blobulous arm of Blola, so now I believe Blola's true source is actually supposed to be this thing. It'd definitely make a lot of sense, considering she also fought Asterium and also becomes giant, so their fight probably looked exactly like this.
>>
>two events back had Marzea
