Long story, one of the boys had a replacement voice actor from Ben Diskin to Jonah Scott, and either a month or few weeks later after being hired, Jonah Scott, for no reason at all, wrote a tweet saying that Taiwan was a country. He mentioned on a twitch stream to his viewers to prepare themselves since things'll get crazy, and was promptly fired by Elex (under papergames' orders i'm sure) so they wouldn't get in trouble with their country. Because he was fired, 2/5 of the other boys' vas announced that they'd be stepping down from their roles unless he was brought back, but knowing it wasn't worth it and the outside controversy it brought, all the boys got recasted. Rightfully, people on both sides were upset, and stopped playing the game for awhile. And as a result, it slowly went from "only the main story, calls connected to it and asmrs will be voiced" to "only the asmrs and PVs will be voiced" to this. All because of one person.
It sucks because the other voice actors seemed to love working on this game and enjoyed the fanbase that came from this game. But, it can't be helped now.
