Playing HG nuzlocke - 5 badges down.
So far I lost my level 25 Graveler to a very unfortunate switch into Tentacruel waking up and ohkoing with bubblebeam and my Level 27 Quilava to a crit Horn Attack from tauros while grinding for Jasmine. Pretty standard nuzlocke rules, level caps, etc. but I'm also adding an extra rule that I lose any held item the fainted pokemon was holding as well, so now I'm also down a Quick Claw and Charcoal.

Well, might as well throw my hat into the ring. Instead of playing Yellow to finish my Gen 2 living dex, I'm instead starting a Gen 4 living dex.
Mainly because I want a forever save on an actual HeartGold cartridge and want to get all the Pokemon as legitimately as my broke ass can, so I'm starting with Sinnoh.
Platinum on the left, designed to be as intentionally generic as possible, and Pearl on the right. Yes, I'm aware that I'll need to play Diamond briefly so I can get Stunky (and to a lesser extent Murkrow). And DS Johto's gonna be annoying to play through three times.
As of now, I'm currently waiting for nighttime in Platinum to catch Rotom.

That's what I thought might happen. Oh well, I decided not too long after starting this that I would pivot to a sand team due to access to TTar & Garchomp, so I'll be replacing Golbat with Gastrodon and an undecided 6th eventually. Aerodactyl, Togekiss, or Mamoswine most likely.

Easily my nicest runs of either game, complimenting each other very well in terms of level ranges I would normally spend grinding in the individual games. Kalos league cleared
Wikstrom was my first and hardest fight, my retarded ass wasted a turn with Qwilfish using toxic spikes. Scolipede with Earthquake and Arbok with Fire rang carried hard, that Probopass almost solos my entire team
Siebold was relatively easy
Drasha gave me some trouble but Greninja carried
Malva was way too easy, I expected more from her...
The Diantha fight was entertaining, Qwilfish managed to K.O Her Hawlucha, after setting up 3 layers of spikes and 1 Toxic spikes, Scolipede had a decent performance against Aurorus and Tyranturn, Arbok and goodra K.Od each other, Crobat and Greninja Bamboozled the gay pumpkin with the good old U-turn trick, and Roserade won the quick draw against Mega Gardevoir.
I ended up using my whole team so I'm satisfied

Started a vanilla Leaf Green playthrough yesterday.

Jigglypuff is suprisingly really good when you get her to a decent lv and access to tms / moves. Mega punch shredded through celadon - ss anne until she learned body slam which is even better. Jolteon with shock wave shreds through team rocket grunts. I realized ninetales only special move worth a damn is flamethrower, was planning to give her psychic tm. Havent found anything yet to fill in the last 3 slots.

I'm playing Decades, an essentials game. It has all Pokemon available + no IVs, a shockingly rare combination of traits. Unfortunately it also one of those game that thinks that everything to be rebalanced so that all mons are viable, hence, despite the legendaries on my team, by far the most kills have gone to Lokix and Ferrothorn. Zeraora has done fuckall and dies pretty much every time he comes in, don't know why he's still on the team. The game didn't even give the mega a good ability, it just has Teravolt. Open to suggestions for what I should boot it for

It's kind of insane how the only actual exclusives Diamond and Pearl have (when you add in HGSS) are Skuntank and Purugly. Literally everything else can be obtained either in Platinum or Heart Gold/Soul Silver. If you didn't need those two, you could just completely disregard Diamond and Pearl when making a living dex, outside of using one of them for the other two starters. Kind of like how the only actual Gen 3 exclusive (if counting the Gamecube games) is technically Slowpoke, because XD is basically just "Version exclusives: The Game (minus Lotad and Slowpoke, but Lotad is in both Sapphire and Emerald).

My current team in Omega Ruby, I'm on Rustboro, still haven't challenged Roxanne.
The idea for this playthrough was to use Trick room, my starter, and Ralts have Speed reducing natures.
Since I never used Clawitzer in X I traded one egg to this save, he might end up as the only non Hoenn mon on the team
I also wanted to train a Gothita, but my luck is in the shitter. I managed to breed an egg with the exact nature I wanted, 80% chance to get the competitive ability and around 75% for the Gothita to be female, and somehow I rolled the absolute worst possible combination as the fucking thing ended up as a male with Frisk. Now I'm thinking about replacing Gothita with Claydol.
That Nincada is just for demonstration purposes, I'm trying to capture one with a specific nature (Adamant) or a specific move with a neutral nature (Night Slash).

You should unironically use Rapidash or Magmar instead of Ninetales for a fire type (hell, even Flareon is better than it in Gen 3). Unless you plan on just using it for Flamethrower and status moves, its Gen 3 movepool is horrendous, with its only non Fire and Normal type attacking moves being Iron Tail, Dig, and Faint Attack (which is an egg move), it doesn't learn any Psychic or Ghost attacking moves, nor does it even get Solar Beam.

I've finally beaten the game two weeks later

There were a lot of times I saw a fusion and went "this is the coolest thing I have seen in my life" so some of these artists did a good job. Only ones I have a complaint towards are

>The vaporeon-flygon fusion seen here actually has UGLY ass eyes that look like they got pink eye or some shit, I changed them myself
Overall breddy gud/10 would recommend to basically anyone.
