Snowmelt Edition
>I want to learn the game, where do I begin?
Download PTCGL at https://tcg.pokemon.com/en-us/tcgl
The game has a quick tutorial and a bunch of decent decks to get you started against other beginners or against the AI. Some of those decks are very close to meta too. You can also go to your local game store and see if people are playing Pokémon.
>I know how to play, how do I make my own deck?
You have a decent beginner's guide at https://www.justinbasil.com/guide
There's also the old /tcg/ guide at https://imgur.com/a/W4NkOu6
After that, look up meta decks and try to reverse engineer them to see how things work.
>Where to find meta decks?
For big irl events, go to https://limitlesstcg.com/decks
For online events, go to https://play.limitlesstcg.com/decks?game=PTCG
For japanese events, go to https://pokecabook.com/archives/1417

>5 weeks
It's 4 weeks. And you can easily get 3 levels per day. Or spend some of your tokens to boost the pass.

The Gardevoir ex puts the energies from the discard pile directly on the pokémons, that deck only uses the stretcher to recover their Drifloon and Sreaming Tail which is not that necesssary since they not only have 2 Screaming Tail, their own Gardevoir can fight too and self damaging also helps to use their Munkis.

Got some more games in and got some final tweaks in... this deck is pretty fun. Saving this one for rotation where Lucario and Dragapult are free matchups

Live rankings resetted today!
I am finding fun decks now, like Larry's Dudunsparce with Mega Audino and Mega Kangaskhan (I don't get the concept of this deck, I only understood that they use Mega Audino to charge the Dudunsparce then bench it and start charging it with Komalas) or Arboliva ex bench sniping army using Boss Order and Counter Catcher to put something non dangerous at the active spot.

The thing is that I don't get why they go through such a roundabout way when they can just charge it komalas and a firebreather.
I also don't get why there is a Kangaskhan, it's a bit too risky to have a mega in the active just to draw then switching it back with Latias.

I'm playing Zoroark, makes fighting single prize decks impossible unless they brick early and I can get it for free
>>58967638
Would Ranger not be counterproductive vs spread decks because placing counters is an effect?

I pulled an alt art mightyena today and I was wondering, wouldn't these cards actually have a chance of seeing play if you got to choose what got pulled in? Boss on legs for a little damage might not be so bad for some decks

it must be something major if it's being teased this way. i hope it's a major overhaul of the whole TCG gameplay, particularly at how evolution cards work since it's one of the most neglected mechanic of the game.

Metronome anything that can be oneshot with its own attack + Brave Bangle, use Lillie's Clefairy ex as secondary attacker. I've made a couple more changes (Mega Kang was a liability in most matchups) but deck is pretty straightforward, just gotta use your noggin every match.

I designed some OC lewd Pokemon trainers for trading cards. I don't know anything about the card game, what would be a good place to learn about trainer cards, and the general game. Also, anyone with a cards folder they are willing to share for download to see cards or whatever learning materials you have. Also looking for card assets like icons and font types if anyone has them or knows where to get them. I pretty much need those to make the cards look pro.

They're just going to be special lenticular cards for collectors.
This entire set is literally just a celebrations 2.0 set. Aka fuck all playable as actual cards

I believe theres websites that have the card templates that you can use to make cards. I'm not sure which ones are the best. The easiest way to learn the game is to play it but if you want to just learn about trainer cards and their mechanics then just look at any card gallery because the rules and mechanics of trainers are printed on the cards themselves. You'd specifically be looking at supporter trainer cards.
