Probably wait for the S2 Lite model if money's a concern. there likely will be one, they've never failed to release a smaller form redesign of a new system before a new Gen pokémon game launched and there will likely be a Pokémon SE version available too (think it'd still be too early for a branded full-fat console just yet).
