Because this is a bait thread I'd like the underages to know whoever uses this thread that Citra was legitimately designed to only run Pokemon games and nothing else while the Desmume dev HATED Pokemon and intentionally programmed their emulator to run Pokemon games worse. So it isn't easier to run DS games over 3DS games if you actually pirate. I've casually played Y and Moon on Citra, it's pretty flawless. They just have so much cut content due to relying on online features that you'll never get the full, intended experience

Yeah, I fucking bet now that it's been proven Desmume is sheer fucking garbage. Citra is too but at least that's been killed. Emulation post-GBA is a little bit of an extra hurdle when stuff like Dolphin is essentially perfect

So if nothing else, it's GBA shit that should be lambasted for getting a better rep than it does than any of the DS games

I played bwbw2 on release and that's when I found them to be the best games, especially considering dppt and xy were the worst gens in the series up til dexit, and I only ever emulated gens 1-3 over the years because I never bothered learning how to set up the ds emulators (not like I needed to emulate any of them but whatever)
