A guy who buys storage units sold it to me for $60, so of course nothing is tested or anything but he told me this one looked like it was hardly used. Just realized it doesn't have the power cable, so I got to figure that out. Probably going to order a fenrir lite today and some wireless controllers plus of course the power cable. Fenrir is the recommended ODE choice, right? What controllers does /vr/ recommend?

Sorry to hear that man, most of the time I try to just get consoles native to my country and mod them for region-free compatability because of my fear of shit like this, for saturns you can just replace the PSU which isn't so difficult but I wouldn't trust myself using a foreign console and frying it by accident.

But why did you buy that? There isn't a single good sega saturn game, it's just a plastic brick with kusoge and subpar arcade ports. It's existence is no longer justified when there's been far better ways to play those ports for the last 20 years. Unless you have an extremely specific use case, such as speedrunning, there's very little reason to own retro hardware.

As I figured, Sega hired musicians, while Nintendo hires designers, Sony hires technicians, and MS buys out the management for their gaming philosophies. Saroo is getting better and better, look into getting that next.
