Jesus Christ, I can't stand with consistent pop-culture references in this game. I get that it was made with short development cycle and devs just wanted to blow off some steam, but what were they thinking?
Even the tone feels more jarring after playing Fallout 1.

I'm currently playing the first fallout for the first time since my first introduction to the series was 3 & New Vegas, is 2 any easier? I'm having a fuck ton of trouble learning everything, won't let it filter me though.

Someone had to do some thinking because the series was suddenly no longer anchored to a single man's vision - in this case, the creator Tim Cain's vision, because he balked at the short development cycle.
Perhaps if he and the team weren't asked to come up with a new game within 12 months, Cain would have stayed on and 2 would be less memeyI still like 2.

He was supposed to be the director/producer of FO2, but resigned after Brian Fargo fucked him over (Cain took responsibility for a bug that delayed FO1 by 10 days, so Fargo cut his bonus). Cain only worked on FO2 for about a month and I don't think he would've signed off on the goofier pop-culture stuff.

This niggas never played a top down rpg. You need agility for more ap points. You go into combat, right click with your weapon, then do other shit like walk away or just end your turn. Its not a hard game zoomie.
