Parasite Eve the PSX game is a sequel to the book. the Japanese movie I saw with subtitles on YouTube a few years back but it's hard to find because no one seeds torrents for it.

but the book/movie a scientist is trying to use the mitochondria to clone his dead wife. which like the sludge monsters in PE1 a woman is generated from that (I think if I'm remembering right). then he tries to fuck that "woman" because he thinks its his wife and the "woman" is trying to be fertilized to make the ultimate being (similar to PE1). but the "ultimate being" catches everything on fire with ESP spontaneous combustion like Eve in PE1 and that is used to kill her.

PE1 Aya and Maya have a similar thing happen with transplanted liver cells containing related mitochondria to the original Japanese incident. or they are related in blood line (remember Aya is half Japanese). Thats why Maeda flies over to NYC when the shit at Carnegie hall happens.


Parasite eve is one of my favorite games of all time but I didn't play PE2 until December recently because the bad press. It plays more like a resident evil game and it sucks they didnt stay with the LA/tower/building settings and pivoted to the desert/Nevada setting but it's still a pretty good game.

It also loses the BP points to improve and modify weapons and armor, thats the biggest loss. but the aiming system is improved and you still get Parasite powers. and you still can modify weapons slightly. just nothing close to the original.

If you really like Parasite Eve 1 and want something else, PE2 is definitely worth playing. Or if you're coming from OG Resident Evil 1-3+C:V and absolutely HATE RPGs of any kind, you might like Parasite Eve 2 better.

I dont know how this is connected to parasite eve but Epstein was a math teacher who somehow got involved in the fake job of helping invest people's money, even though he wasn't a banker.

he was a pedo from the start which is why he became a teacher and then found an in to the pedo cult big money world and that has direct access to trafficked people and less exposure/risk (every teacher male or female ends up getting arrested for having a relationship with a student)

correct. In my mind it would look liek MGS2, and be third person but with first person aiming. It would pick up a lot of PE2 gameplay mechanics and gun obsession, while having levels looking more like PE1. A mix of both but fully 3D.

I think this film may have been real, and it may have gotten to the stage of getting a film treatment. It might not be a full script, but it may be 10-15 pages of a story outline.

In fact, double check shitty sci-fi films from this era. I think it's entirely possible that once the branding deal fell though, someone might have kept working on the script and changed some names, and it's possible the damn thing actually got made under a different title.
