Yeah, played a bunch of Micro Machines V3, Circuit Breakers, CTR, FIFA, and the Smackdowns.
We used the Link cable far less. Only a couple of C&C skirmishes and one session of Doom.

my hindu friend had one of these and we would play that top down boat game at his birthday parties. the german homie had the snes multitap for bomberman that was lit. Dude had a copy of the aerosmith game for the superscope on cartridge, I had to edit wikipedia to say that game exists

How can you connect four memory cards when the cord only has a controller plug? How the BIOS shows the 4 memory cards on its menu?

The system only reads the memory card in slot A which is why it has that little icon. The other controller ports only have memory card slots because the controller and memory card connectors came as one part on the console and sony just reused the part on the multi-tap to save money, those memory card slots don't do anything.

The PS2 multi-tap can actually read all the memory cards in all the ports but if a game doesn't support the multi-tap it'll only read slot A.

I played 4 player ISS and 8 player FIFA. Good times.

I never played a PS1/PS2 game in 4 player until the PS3 came out and you could just pair 4 wireless controllers. My model of PS3 only had the software PS2 emulation so Ratchet and Clank 3 ran like ass when I tried it though.

A neighbor in my old neighborhood had one. We used it once on Triple Play '99 for four of us to play and it was a nice experience. Don't know if he used it much though.
