Do great, kick ass, and then lose your lives to some shitty insta death trap you couldn't see come or isn't easy to dodge because of the camera angle and darkness of the game, or some platforming involving pits, lose your upgrades in the process, enemies become sponges and have to restart the entire game because the save system keeps track of the limited number of continues.
Great experience. Considering how hard the traps were becoming I thought I was close to the end game, turns out I was only in lvl 7 out of 12.
Lot's of levels also have really lazy copy pasted and mirrored level design.
This must be Core's weakest game from the era, I had more fun with Shellshock and MachineHead was great. This is just painful.
