Along the same lines as you my biggest complaint was that it was too easy. Hardly ever needed to use any spells other than heal. Outside of the that I loved it and wish I never sold my copy. Oh well.

Haven't beaten it yet. Might do so soon. I remember getting filtered by the section where you need to find the Protect Keys in the Uru ruins. Shit felt like a Sierra adventure game where the game felt stagnant until you found the correct "trigger" to move on except you also had to slog through random battles

Not enough places to go or things to do.

I'd have preferred a pre-rendered world like FF7 if it meant more content and more insight into the PDS world.

As it was the on-foot 3D sections were amazing tech demo but served no purpose other than bragging rights.

You thought the tower was a slog when you spend a quarter of the game in that sewer dungeon!?

I didn't just sell PDS. I sold every Saturn game/console/controllers I owned as a lot for 3k. My 2nd kid was born things weren't going great at home and I wanted to trim my collection back. Hindsight 20/20 I still should have trimmed back but not sell EVERYTHING. Got back into Saturn around 2yrs back buying mostly juat the stuff I really missed but I know I'll never own many of NA titles of the games I once had.
