Dreamland 3 might not be the best Kirby game, but it has the most SOVL.

64 is my favorite kirby but I must admit the animal buddies in DL3 make a very strong case for most SOVL-pilled.

For some reasons, I was sure that DreamLand 3 was a GB game with SGB support like 2.
>>
kind of weird to me this game came out the same year as ffvii.

the Gameboy KDLs are the most soulful, KDL3 feels like a weird demake despite running on much better hardware. I'd also put Kirby's Adventure ahead of it

Really what a step down from SS
>>
>>12426981
SS is too short and way too linear
>>

best physics and moveset(s) by a mile though

Why is that weird? You think in 1997 everyone threw their snes in the closet/dumpster and never looked at it again?
>>
>>12426987
Doesn't mean much when there's barely any game to actually use them in.

It's only weird if you're a zoomiezoom that wasn't alive at the time. Pretty much every home console from the 80s onward had games releasing for it after the next gen of consoles was out.

Hell, this is even true today. There's still games releasing on PS4 despite PS5 having released almost 5 years ago.

I would rather have a fun short game than the slog and shitty pet mechanic of DL 2 and 3
>>
>>12426998
you just described the whole series anon...

I was 6 years old in 97 and started out with n64/ps1 as my first consoles so its weird to me since in my kid brain gen 4 was the "before times".
>>
Name a Kirby game that doesn't have sovl?
>>

I rented Kirbys tilt and tumble as a kid. It was interesting iirc but honestly I forgot if I liked it or not.

Kirby games are short in general.
You're supposed to replay them in order to get better times (speedrun) or use different powers.

Kirby's Adventure is the best game in the series by a wide margin.
