I don't care since it's all secondaries and SEAniggers.
Everyone who cares about the game played it and finished discussing it years before it came to Steam.

So, to get the old music on the Steam version of BS2, do I just copy and pase the music folder from the old dlsite version, or what?
>>
>>3915905
Yes, replacing RPG Maker assets is as simple as swapping the files out.
>>
>>3915905
>>3915929
>Yes, replacing RPG Maker assets is as simple as swapping the files out.
No, it isn't.
You can't JUST copy the old music folder and expect things to work, lmao.
For things like music, RPG Maker's event objects work with filenames, like picrel.
If you want the old music back you're gonna have to grab each track and give them the filename used by their replacement tracks, then drag-drop-replace.
Or alternatively you can open the game's project file with RPG Maker VX Ace and modify each relevant event by hand.
>>
>>3915981
Or there's a 3rd option; drag and drop the old files, then write a Ruby script that manipulates a Play BGM command call and uses an array to replace the filenames used by any Play BGM command on the fly when they're used.
Like this: https://pastebin.com/qc5Ma8Us
Less work than manually editing the events, more work than just using the same filenames and replacing.
Still valid at the end of the day and easier to undo in case of need.
>>
>>3915981 (Me)
>You can't JUST copy the old music folder and expect things to work, lmao.
That would be the case normally.
I just finished checking all 23 songs that EMMM replaced and as it turns out they have the same filename in the older versions as they do on the latest versions of the game, so drag and dropping should work here specifically because of that.
>>
>>3916110
Wow it's almost like rewriting the code instead of just changing the files while keeping the names would have been extremely retarded and a dumb way to go about swapping the songs. Next you'll tell me he wouldn't manually change every instance where the game calls a bunny sprite to call for bunnysprite2.png instead of just changing what bunnysprite.png looks like if he wanted to change it.

>Wow it's almost like rewriting the code instead of just changing the files while keeping the names would have been extremely retarded and a dumb way to go about swapping the songs.
Naturally. I only listed it as an option because it is. I don't think anyone is ever going to try to do something so retarded, but I threw it in because.

>Next you'll tell me he wouldn't manually change every instance where the game calls a bunny sprite to call for bunnysprite2.png instead of just changing what bunnysprite.png looks like if he wanted to change it.
I don't think you understand where I'm coming from.
This IS a case where just swapping out the songs works because the files did in fact have the same filenames before the update and after it.
But what if that wasn't the case? A lot of developers aren't as smart about something like this as EMMM was.
I thought this was going to be one such case.
Moving on though, have a nice day.

You know? I always wondered why the game's choices don't have any options selected by default forcing you to press Up or Down manually to pick anything.
Turns out there's specifically a script that handles that and it's meant to prevent people from fucking themselves over by mashing the Z or whatever key to move to the next dialogue fast and choose a wrong option accidentally.

Not sure if this is partly his point, but it implies you use Twitter extensively enough to procure art, and as a result have had Twitter-isms rub off on you, whether you realize it or not; language is power.
>>3915010
Essentially, I suppose. They will nevertheless continue to deny being post-millennial pseudo-normalfag (most likely ~<=115 - >=135 IQ; likely mild form of ADHD or outright Asperger's) nigger faggots, despite having little difference in posting style and despite exhibiting similar mob-like attitudes; they are quite like the subhumans who ruined what little worth the Western Touhou fandom had. I suppose it's true for the site in general, but it's still really annoying.
>>
>>3917990
For one, a lot of art is posted here and on Twitter because the artists who post there share it here themselves. For two, your perception of IQ is completely fucked by media meme numbers, unless you just formatted your post wrong. Sub-115 is by definition 84% of the population.
>>

>Sub-115 is by definition 84% of the population.
Only if you're looking at a European population. Other population means are quite different.

>Your whole point is "actually sub 115 isn't 85% of the population, it's 95%" which is an insanely retarded approach to trying to argue people are stupid
No. My explicit point was simply that different populations have different population means.
My implicit point was that this isn't the old internet of 30 years ago, and the people that are online now come from many different populations with means that aren't 100.
The population with 90 mean would need to be in their top 4.7% to reach 115, the population with 84 mean would need to be in their top 1.9%, and the population with 68 mean would need to be in their top 0.087% to reach 115.
>which you only hold because you want to feel special and smart and think of yourself in the top 3% of all humanity despite having nothing better to do with your life than argue about meaningless bullshit on 4chan.
The rest of your post was just defensive over-reaction and projection, because you clearly didn't understand what I was saying.

Fuck, you're dumb. You can't even keep different posters straight. I'm not whoever you were arguing with, and I didn't agree with him. The only point I made was about statistics and population means.
>>
>>3918780
Wrong. Your autism prevents you from understanding the social context of the conversation. You came barging in with your sperg out about math because you have no self control and in doing so inserted yourself in an existing context and took on a definite role, and the fact that you're too socially inept to have realised it doesn't change reality. In real life I suggest you avoid entering conversations like this, you're clearly incapable of parsing the nuances of human communication.

Dunno, I dropped it after 12 or so hours. And supposedly the ending is horrible, so I have no desire to ever go back to it.
MGQ:P wasn't particularly good, certainly inferior to the original MGQ, but it doesn't really matter, it's a gameplayfag game. If you like job systems a la FFV/Bravely Default/Crystal Project, you have to try it.

If you want a story game, I personally recommend OFF, Witch's House and Your Turn To Die.

I'm a bit more concerned about how well clay models hold up over time or who knows what else could happen to them. I mostly deal with resin kits and the finish on those keeps them around for a long time. Clay? I'm going to come home on a hot day and find Prickett in a puddle. They're all extremely cute though. Might look into it a bit more.

Yeah I was mostly joking about the melting it was just funny imagery. Did a little reading around and it looks like air-dried clay eventually becomes brittle and prone to crumble but oven baked ones/polymer clay will last years since its plastic. Some of the higher stress parts may break or if the joins are poor, but it's not often a concern. Clear finishes could also help longer term and I have some epoxy resin sitting around. I'll shoot the vendor an email for extra info but I'll probably pick one up. Hard to decide which one though. Jublice while not my thing is also unique & cute.

How would you guys feel about playing a black souls inspired game with zero/minimal H scenes?

>>
>>3921440

It depends on the location.
Sometimes it's Progress points, sometimes it's performing a story relevant action.
She leaves Liddell Graveyard at Progress 3 or higher.
She leaves Margaret's mansion when you first meet Margaret herself and witness the scene with the chef.

Thoughts on gimmick bosses? I kinda like them especially if they make you dig through your inventory for builds. Been playing SEQUEL and while there's a difficulty spike all I did was stack more buffs + find out bind exists.

what are the chances wherein toro writes in a way to add mecha in bs3 for grimm to fight cosmic nigs
>>
>>
>>3927585
BS1 already had mecha (the knight in armor is piloted by multiple cats), but it would be interesting for mecha elements to be integrated into the combat system (hopefully BS3 is as more mechanically complex than BS2 as BS2 was compared to BS1). Although Kuti's fight and Lindamea's BS2 fight had some elements of what I would want, there is a clear optimal strategy, as opposed to a boss made of multiple components which each buff each other in a stacking way (which could already be accomplished by each of them applying a different buff at the start of its turn), as well as each of them having a different moveset.

Don't ask me for further tips down the line, this is where I put the game on hold, to focus on anime and other games. I'll go back to it once my current priorities are sorted out, which will take me another few weeks.
>>
>>3930581
I meant the third battle/at base, where he rapes you before you get a turn, but yeah, good luck with whatever you're doing; I was taking a break from my run until yesterday as well.
>>
>>3930583
Does he strike first no matter how much speed you stack?
>>
>>3930584
Yes, he gets a scripted superturn (the one he normally does at 50%) before the fight starts for real. In a leveled run I could almost survive it, but here he kills me on the third strike and there's like 16 more afterwards.
Plugging it into a calculator, GA gives ~2% to live through it, which isn't too bad, I guess.
>>
>>3930591
Do you apply madness before the battle at least?
>>
Also another question, can the attacks be evaded or are they unavoidable?
>>
>>3930592
I could, but I don't see how this would help here. If you live through that part, the rest of the fight is the easiest of his three.

>>3930595
All unavoidable + he lands a guaranteed 100% fear debuff with the first.
>>
>>3930596
>I could, but I don't see how this would help here.
Well maybe you can counter hard enough that you don't need to tank all of his attacks. At least it's better to deal as much damage as you can (unless it triggers some sort of phase 2 you're not prepared for at that time; I've deliberately limited my damage output on some occasions).
>>
>>3930596
Alright, try getting to 100% base evasion and using the ring that gives you ailments immunity. That way you should be able to dodge those attacks that can still be dodged.
>>
>>3930620
Oh, that's pretty clever! Assuming the ring works against him, which it should. I'll try it next time.

>>3930576
Guardian Angel and DB rings. Going for stuns is a meme and going for just GA is pure hours long RNG agony.

>>3930302
I love Grimm's voice here.
The animation is pretty good too.
It doesn't have a lot of motion, but still just seeing the characters designed pretty accurately and moving around is so nice.
AI-based Black Souls anime when?
>>
>>3930620
Update: This isn't too feasible since you need GA (0% dodge) and no manual evade action. Yes, there is a "Start the fight evading" ring, but you'd need that+Linda's ring just to have a (non-100%) chance to dodge, and you don't get enough ring slots to realistically do this.

>>3930713
Sleep over stun means you can't stack God's Angle, which is the main viable way to defeat him if you waste 2 ring slots on non-stat rings. The point is moot though. Status effects really don't seem to work on him at SL1's luck and you can't use Laddle there.

>>3930808
>just GA is pure hours long RNG agony.
You're vastly overestimating it. I timed it (shift fast-forwards combat and F12 immediately boots you back to menu in case you don't know) with a stopwatch and could get 10 attempts in 163 seconds. With 16 seconds per attempt and 2.3% of GA triggering 17 times in a row, that's under a quarter of an hour on average, which is less time than I spent trying to circumvent it.
>DB rings
Do you know if it saves you after GA's roll or before? If it's after GA, that's huge—just one ring would increase the odds by roughly 7x if my mental math is right.

Most of the bilibili videos I've came across even for 1 tend to trace back to after 2's release, so I'd say no.

In general 1 just didn't have enough emotional payoff or companion writing but things were set up well enough. The power of sequels, really.
>>

>>
>>3931131
I'm not sure where you're getting the 17 from. In my not SL1 runs and using the Node bug for one extra hit I'm pretty sure it was still more rolls than that. But even if we assume it's just 17, by my math even with your time estimate you can still go well over half an hour without getting it if you're unlucky.
>Do you know if it saves you after GA's roll or before?

I have the sequence memorized by now. It's always the same: 2x Fear-attack + 3x %HP-Acid + 1x no-dodge + 4x Gunclock + 9x Helix Blade. I die to the first or second Acid, so 16-17 lethal rolls including that one. Possibly could last an extra one with Node abuse.

>>3931241
This is wrong. Not only would that work only if you could inflict sleep consistently (you can't), but he auto-cleanses on entering phase 2 and rage attack.
>>

>>
>>3931394
>were you unable to resist Fear with the Black Knight Ring?
Anon, do you ever read the text you quote before you reply to it?
>>
>>3931410
Sorry, I was busy being too puzzled by the supposed non-100% dodge rate (for the dodgeable stuff) and I missed that part. Maybe I'm misremembering, but do you have to actually use the evade action to evade stuff, no matter what the evade rate is? Because that's why I suggested having 100% base rate. If evasion as an action is necessary, then you can drop the base evasion requirement to 30%, which combined with the evade ring should net a 100% evade rate anyway. That should shave off a good number of the attacks you're being subjected to.

So that's why I fail to understand, why would you not have 100% evasion?
>>
>>3931375
Not in the opening salvo (or the p2 rage, which is identical). He uses the knives or the Helix Blade on every subsequent turn.

>>3931394
>>3931413
To successfully dodge [half of] Lorde's salvo, you'd need:
>Black Knight Ring
>A lot of +Evade% gear.
I tried it at one point just to make sure, but the ankle attack also removes your evade status. BKR by itself only gives you the base dodge chance, and it only works for the last part of the combo.
>Because that's why I suggested having 100% base rate.
And how do you go about achieving that rate? To recap, Guardian Angle is a must here and you don't get an action to dodge before the attack, nor can you wear the auto-dodge ring. To get to 100%, you'd have to wear 3 Empty Rings+3 and BKR in the 4th slot. That's really silly. Your base stats would be at literal SL1 values. You can't really go in without at least 2 Almighty Rings.
The strategy suggested later (one revive ring + GA) takes a lot fewer slots and works semi-frequently.
>>
>>3931418
>but the ankle attack also removes your evade status
Ah, so there was this issue as well. Yeah, revive ring seems to be the way then.
>>
>>3931422
>>3931413
Also, like, I'm pretty sure some of his attacks aren't physical.
>>
>>3931459
Most are phys, the knives and fear are some weird fixed damage, helix was ice.
>>
>>3931473
I think the knives are meant to be the same knives you use, kinda like he's also meant to be gunclocking you. Lorde's whole thing is being another writer and a parallel to Grimm, and gameplay-wise that's also reflected in him essentially being the one who's cheesing you.
>>
>>3931512
Yeah I think the gunclocks are a dead giveaway especially the dialogue about being jealous and how GG chose Grimm. I enjoyed all the fights blind I was looking through my entire inventory for pdr, ice resist, and other silly things then face tank countered him to death very slowly. I'm 50/50 about gimmick fights but they all tend to be the most memorable for me - onimusha, old king, dogtor phase 2, lorde, etc
>>
Are there any other black souls inspired games out there besides NPC dreams?
>>
>>3931522
L3 has the benefit of being entirely optional. I think the funniest part is that as far as we know, Lorde has no sort of assistance for any of this. No gods helping him, no inherit superhuman characteristics. Maybe the fact that GG is named that ends up empowering him thorough inherent symbolic connections, but from what we see the guy is just so insanely pissed off, and such a powerful creative mind, that his manifestation in the Dreamlands gets all the way to the most hidden and well guarded places imaginable just to beat your ass.

Is a Black Souls 3 release before 2030 possible?
>>
>>3933602
>>3933599
Putting the "haha mary" explanations aside, outer gods in BS are intrinsically fascinated by the idea of being human. It probably makes the infallibility of Grimm's character fit right into every outer god's strike zone. Writing usually explores the human condition i.e. birth, learning, emotion, aspiration, reason, morality, conflict, death. Seeing someone in front of you confront all of these ideas in an endless cycle is admiration which borders on affection. Node says something similar in Little Girl's Nightmare when you kill her iirc.
>>
>>3933628
Oh I'm retarded and misread, yeah it's probably mary'd for any non-outer god characters involved.
>>
>>3933599
Due to the interestes of the outer ones and being created to be really good for them, he is effectively crack for them, they can hardly resist him.
>>

DRH will probably be his last game. He’s a millionaire already and there’s no way BS3 would even live up to Half Li- I mean Black Souls 2’s success
>>
>>
>>3933627
Probably not.
DRH supposedly comes out this year after being in plans and development for the past 5 years.
Assuming that it does end up coming out this year and isn't delayed yet again, that would leave Toro 4 years to release both, the 5P game and then BS3, which is the current roadmap.
It doesn't sound plausible.
>>
>>3914791
What? Rance is just "fuck bitches get money" personified. There's two games that are objectively good, the rest are eroge slop.
>>
>>
I find it interesting how Node being involved in Mary losing her power implies there's a time period between End D and GG being created where a bunch of stuff happened we know very little about, presumably a lengthy fight between Mary and TCO. DRH might go more in detail there since it's during that period that Red and Lindamea would have escaped Elysium.

>>
I got ending C and it made the jrpg trope of killing god feel a bit anti climatic. it could partially be due to the fact that I oneshot everything because this silly build wrecks everything also face palmed when grimm started fucking MS, glad he choked her partway through because I was just pissed that I was forced to kill my friends for the library. it was a depressing loop of leveling at an end game area, feeding those levels to a girl and taking her to the executioners chambers at the hotel because grimm can't murderhobo at the holy forest only rapehobo because priorities. and then the all of it was anti climatic, we killed god, got ghosts of our friends saying what now new god then just cut to credits. what.

>>
>>3935193
It's just Leaf's special ability. In terms of power, she is much weaker than the Outer Gods. TCO shat on Leaf, even when she was in her own garden.
>>3935256
>The game doesn't follow Derleth's classifications
Mabel (Yog-Satoth) literally calls herself the oldest and strongest. TCO (Nyarlathotep) is also fucking strong, even after she's gone mad. Node (Nodens) can simply snap her fingers and send Cthulhu's daughter to fall forever into the abyss. It is not explicitly stated that they are Outer Gods, but it is clearly shown that they are more powerful than others.
>>
>>3935278
That's just a garden thing

gungnir is my weaponfu. it got usurped in the late game by miranda's axe but it definitely served its purpose well as a solid early game to great mid game weapon with the only blindspot being so many fuckers dodge even with the accuracy bonus i need to use storm ruler on those fuckers. which I also used to grind on those eyeball dudes in the first area because they drop 5,000 souls and aren't relatively hard to kill with storm ruler + early amage stacking gear and some levels. for boss fights though i was using gungir 90% of the time. the way I beat miranda was 9 times was by using ressurect omnibuff and Zex Sturm in tantdem to tank her retaliation and melt her

I decided to check Madorome's Ci-en page randomly after reading this, in case they posted any news about N.P.C Dreams' DLC.
>New article from last January
>Every RPG Maker-based game was crashing on their end at random intervals and with no error messages to debug until they moved their stuff to an SSD.
>During that time they kept working on the new content to some extent.
>They added what's (seemingly) the same script Hakika used in the VXA SEQUEL games to add an extra info page to items and showed 1 new CG.
Cool. I'm glad the project's still alive after 2 years of radio silence.

that "nonsensical growth" appears it is supposed to be Grimm's head, ergo the video is actually shot from the POV of someone who is either sitting or standing on his shoulders and Dodo is tall as shit.

Grimm is clearly undead at a glance and also is stated to smell by one of the fairies, the only "game" he has is because most of the men are either dead or insane. Most of the girls are probably just lonely and he's available. In Wonderland, people who can be reasoned with(even by Wonderland's rock-bottom standards) are few and far between, and Elysium is practically a desolate wasteland full of monsters. I'd wager that there's a good reason why Bill's hiding behind the altar and never comes out, and you won't find girls except in safe havens secluded from where the nasties roam. Note that it's usually the men who are found in the thick of it.

I like demons roots but I did drop it for like a year or two after the first couple kingdoms and come back to it to beat it later. I liked the later plot developments though some of them where bullshit. like the demons have a countermeasure to let them know if someones been brainwashed when they enter the main castle, but it didn't go off when a sabateur put berserker drugs in the water supply so its implied one of the party members willingly betrayed the demons, except not actually because after the reveal we learn that the torturer from king exit put a "suggestion" on that party member which is totally different from brainwashing but not really because it has the same effect of that party member not acting out of their real own volition abd being controlled. the ending does kinda suck because the protagonist and another character iceberg themselves and wake up centuries later demons and humans can coexist. you know with all the party members you get attached to long dead because of this massive fucking timeskip
>>
>>3936861
i still can't get over how grimm has the big [rape] button in every conversation. the contrast between having the normal talk dialogue option and it is stark
>>
>>3936861
Yeah but also that's the advantage of having a self-insert vs writing a fictional character that demands a consistent and believable moral compass. They pretty much leave it up to player to decide what to do and feel about it in BS2 so it shortcuts a lot of internal dialogue with your own.
>>3936864
That's the strength of juxtaposition. Some games are fundamentally built on being able to do things but choosing not to. Hell, an hrpmg game I played I threw away a run 8 hours deep because apparently I locked myself out of a true end from messing around in a hypnosis menu and groping one of the heroines thinking it wouldn't wouldn't be an issue down the road.
>>
>>3936870
are you talking about the hyponsis school game? if you are then you were already screwed from the good ending because the game forces you to go down the rape and violence routes first for context, it did leave a bad taste in my mouth because I was trying to be a good guy and not abuse the hypnosis powers and i was going on dates with the main heroine, but halfway through the game locks you in an event that forces you onto the rape/murder routes until you complete them then the option to continue the good route will show up. the real ball kicker was the fact that i had to loop again because i got a variant of the rape route where the MC retains his sanity just enough to grab the main heroine and bail from the school together- though it ends in tragedy as eventually his power becomes so strong that it even starts to affects her and he forces her forget about him before he can cause irreversible damage to her, but that ending doesn't count so i had to do the rape route again. I was cheating the rpg battles after the first loop because i did have an interesting time with the main plot but the jrpg segment is pure grind filler and when you unlock other girls as party members they're always underleveled. I do get why it forced me on the rape and murder routes because it gives a lot of context for the true route but it did rub me the wrong way because i don't like being forced to be the bad guy. i'd reccomend the game on the condition that you skip the jrpg battles and are in a mindset where you can sink a good deal of time completing the two routes first with the goal of reaching the actual route where you can continue your wholesome dates with kanae which is all i wanted to do

ive always have a thing for human suffering, though i do draw the line at some point idk why. the thing that arouse me the most is when the characters go insane and start doing insane stuff, as that is the best show of humanity.
black soul appear to be filthy, unapologetically filthy and thats is a big impression for me.
the sweet story that was never to exist in such cruel word, turn out to be the work of benevolent gods; black soul 1 brought to me a world that i specifically chose to make a paradise. for the first time, there was things in a video game i dare not to destroy; it pain me to seek the truth, thus the sorrow it reaps turn to be of a sour but sweet grape.
met with insanity at first glance, black soul 2 is confusing, yet mesmerising. the game force me to seek the answer for a question i did not ask, what a headache. clueless as the chesire cat, the journey i came to understand is also grim's realization of wonderland. so long is the day of the broken mind, the moment grim realize his children, the last farewell and the final battle, bore a bitter fruit. how dreadful, the heroine saved none, happiness after millenia only lasted a year, such unbearable anguish is nowhere to be found outside of blacksoul
for that i concluded: blacksoul is a story about humanity, the gods' obsession with it, such human concept of insanity and the contemporary nature of human, grim saved noone, just as all human.
i sound like a sadist but thats what i wanna say desu, blacksoul 2 can fit perfectly as the story conclusion, as a happy ending is somewhat unfitting

oh shit i hit the attack cap

You'd enjoy Dostoevsky
>If you are alluding to Dostoevsky’s worst novels, then, indeed, I dislike intensely The Brothers Karamazov and the ghastly Crime and Punishment rigamarole. No, I do not object to soul-searching and self-revelation, but in those books the soul, and the sins, and the sentimentality, and the journalese, hardly warrant the tedious and muddled search. Dostoyevsky’s lack of taste, his monotonous dealings with persons suffering with pre-Freudian complexes, the way he has of wallowing in the tragic misadventures of human dignity – all this is difficult to admire. I do not like this trick his characters have of ”sinning their way to Jesus” or, as a Russian author, Ivan Bunin, put it more bluntly, ”spilling Jesus all over the place." Crime and Punishment’s plot did not seem as incredibly banal in 1866 when the book was written as it does now when noble prostitutes are apt to be received a little cynically by experienced readers. Dostoyevsky never really got over the influence which the European mystery novel and the sentimental novel made upon him. The sentimental influence implied that kind of conflict he liked—placing virtuous people in pathetic situations and then extracting from these situations the last ounce of pathos. Non-Russian readers do not realize two things: that not all Russians love Dostoevsky as much as Americans do, and that most of those Russians who do, venerate him as a mystic and not as an artist. He was a prophet, a claptrap journalist and a slapdash comedian. I admit that some of his scenes, some of his tremendous farcical rows are extraordinarily amusing. But his sensitive murderers and soulful prostitutes are not to be endured for one moment—by this reader anyway. Dostoyevsky seems to have been chosen by the destiny of Russian letters to become Russia’s greatest playwright, but he took the wrong turning and wrote novels.

Agreed for the most part but it's hard for me to say I didn't feel it because it felt plenty engaging being a part of the world as another one of the many. Wandering around plotting my own story until the final comeuppance. Elden Ring had a better foil for you with Godfrey but the other games needed a little more imagination. anon, im doing that in real life; ive seen beasts and the height that one could be beside, being in the eye of the storm is 100 times sexier. for example, the world of darksoul is withering and slowly fading away. in that context, you could think of the player as a mouse who sought the main dish while eating bed crumbs, much will never satisfy the appetize of the chesire cat, meow

The Lion and the Unicorn are from the Alice in Wonderland specifically. In fact, the vast majority of the characters at least within the Play: Dodo, Mabel, Jubjub, Jabberwock.
There's also the Snark/Boojum from the Hunting of the Snark, but that's Carroll too.
>>
>>3937712
The Lion and the Unicorn are from Through the Looking Glass, you fake fan. Smh.
>>
> mabel le... BETRAYED ME??
she really tries to twist the knife but girl, I already played black souls 1, I already know you fucks are all psychopath dicks. i'm not surprised-hell in bs2 the entirety of the (rape) option is playing into tco's whole breeding scheme. its a desperate attempt at control and power flipped on its head, it doesnt matter if grimm forms a covenant with a girl first or just puts her in his rape dungeon, if he's fucking anyone (((alice))) is winning. i'm tired of their fucking games.

that ending was good. jubjub of all people helped out which was kind of unexpected, i'm glad grimm and red hood where able to escape back to reality, even if LEAFs meddling causes her to die young. it was a good story and I'm glad I stuck with it through to the end, though I am left wondering why grimm and red hood are the exceptions, people being forced to endlessly play a role in a manufactured world by greater beings-almost everyone else grimm meets is 100% a fairytale or made up to inhabit the world, why where the other heroines in bs1 all just fairy tales and not people being molded into that role like grimm and red hood where?

Kuti spoiler go rape her and visit her in prison if you haven't, there's unironically some worthwhile dialogue that gives you a better idea of outsiders.
Ending F spoiler if you sided with Leaf in LGN you'd see Red Hood's model isn't a monstrosity of any sort like the rest of Wonderland, she's just a regular girl.
>>3937745
ngl I missed the big room with most of them my first time around because I didn't try entering most of the doors and interacting with stuff since maymay was waiting. I started to connect the dots when I found the red room bgm online and wondered where it was from, confirming my suspicions of why I found someone's ring there was pretty satisfying.

guess I'll do that but it will make me feel dirty. I already feel like grimm being used and kuti while being like everyone else fiending to get some undead dick is more innocent about it than the rest. grimm raping everything is achieving the same goal as if he formed a covenant with them. i don't buy the whole "your my master now because you enslaved me grimm uwu wanna have sex" its just a different form of trying to bait him into fucking them again for their fucking breeding cycles or whatever. it seems like even TCO has lost the point with the endless repetition in the dream and has broken down in continuing the charade because its whats its been doing for the past god knows how long. "the play must go on" and all that

If you avoided rape all game long, they you should to rape and fail Jabber. Losing in that fight leads to a pretty big early lore dump.
Also, you might view Jack in a new light, given all that you now know about the Wonderland.

You will never be a real Alice. You have no white soul, you never grew up in the human world, Lewis Carroll was never your teacher. You are a sexless starspawn twisted by autism into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection.
All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back outer ones mock you. Azathoth is disgusted and ashamed of you, your "actors" laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed gardens.
Grimm is utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of looping in Elysium have allowed him to sniff out only the freshest tightest cunny. Even outer ones who “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to him. Your unicode text is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a SEN 9000 Grimm to the hill with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your black goo filled, bottomless, hole. That's right, he'd rather choose a frigid dogfucker over you.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a ribbon, tie a noose, put it around your innumerable necks, and plunge into the cold abyss. Mabel will find you, happy that she can finally add you to her collection. She'll put you behind a fog door with a checkpoint marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know an outer one is buried there, not a dear little girl. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that is unmistakably alien.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

it seems to me it'd be easier to cast your actors out of humans you can pluck from the ether and mold and not other fickle outer gods, but we saw how hood and grimm saw through the garden and all the ruckus they made trying to get free so maybe theres a good reason the other gardens don't do that
>>
>>3937768
>it seems to me it'd be easier to cast your actors out of humans
Anon... That's what Mary did in BS1. That's why her Victoria is different from the real one. That's why Red and Elizabeth's relationship switches between RHW and BS1. That's why you learn about the girl who became Dorothy in BS2.
>>
>>3937768
Pretty sure the whole breeding program was created to prepare for the upcoming niggerman war. As were the ghouls in the Crimean Nursing Graveyard.
>>
>>3937767
that's interesting, i should draft a list of reading from all the fairtale and literature sources bs takes from and get around to reading that stuff.
>>3937769
i guess my question is why or how did hood live from bs1 to bs2 while Dorothy and the rest are deader than dirt?
>>
>>3937772
Way ahead of you.
Some of this stuff is more important than others. Obviously reading Alice and Lovecraft is more important than reading Winnie the Pooh. The Throne of Bones is interesting, as that's where Meryphilia and all the ghoul lore surrounding her comes from. And the Faces in the Fire poem? Arguably one of the most important things there, that's also rather obscure.

I watch the drowsy night expire,
And Fancy paints at my desire,
Her magic pictures in the fire.

An island-farm 'mid seas of corn,
Swayed by the wandering breath of morn,
The happy spot where I was born.

The picture fadeth in its place;
Amid the glow I seem to trace
The shifting semblance of a face.

'Tis now a little childish form,
Red lips for kisses pouted warm,
And elf-locks tangled in the storm.

'Tis now a grave and gentle maid,
At her own beauty half afraid,
Shrinking, yet willing to be stayed.

'Tis now a matron with her boys,
Dear centre of domestic joys:
I seem to hear the merry noise.

Oh, time was young, and life was warm,
When first I saw that fairy form,
Her dark hair tossing in the storm;

And fast and free these pulses played,
When last I met that gentle maid-
When last her hand in mine was laid.

Those locks of jet are turned to grey,
And she is strange and far away,
That might have been mine own to-day-

That might have been mine own, my dear,
Through many and many a. happy year,
That might have sat beside me here.

Ay, changeless through the changing scene,
The ghostly whisper rings between
The dark refrain of "might have been."

The race is o'er I might have run,
The deeds are past I might have done,
And sere the wreath I might have won.

Sunk is the last faint flickering blaze;
The vision of departed days
Is vanished even as I gaze.

The pictures with their ruddy light
Are changed to dust and ashes white,
And I am left alone with night.

Red is built different. Specifically, Red is built wrong, because she was Mary's first major project and she wasn't good at it yet. She also got help by Node. We'll learn more in DRH, hopefully.

I'm mainly viewing the scenes from the recollection room because it would be too depressing for me to actually go and rape everything . also grimm shut the fuck up about how horny you are how you are having sex I'm trying to listen to the lore dumpage that's being espoused.
>>
>>3937796
Because she's the one bitch in the whole series who deserves what she gets and whose problems are her own fault.
>>
>>3937906
Did you miss Dark Souls Complete Series?
>inb4 "ackshually BB is not included"

>>3937796
The most likely answer is that she doesn't want Grimm getting stuck there. Alternatively, there could be no brainwashing happening and Griffy is just a bitch.
>>
>>3937959
>viewing the scenes from the recollection room
Did you press the 'unlock all scenes' button of extreme cowardice? To view these scenes, they had to have happened, so you did effectively rape everyone when you clicked on it. And Grimm filled the dungeon at least once for sure, probably way more than that.
>>
>>3938034
>>inb4
Yes. It's literally a different IP, a different game. Using "Dark Souls" as shorthand for "DeS, DS 1-2-3, BB" is retarded. Also King's Field should be there too.
>>
>>3937796
Doesn't Griffy say that it's not Prickett's fault, and the song turning her mad and making her off Lorina wasn't intentional?
>>
>>3938037
Grimm canonically dies in the rabbit hole 64 times. that or he's some sort of soul level 1 GOD seriously he loops 65 times and we start with no souls or levels, what the fuck was he doing before we came along to pilot him

yeah i don't know how much i believe that the whole incident was unintentional on prickett's part. seems a bit too convinent for griffy to hand wave her involvment after the fact
