I loved luminous arc 1 and 2 in my youth, played throught them multiple times
the plots where generic(and in LA2 also extreamly stupid) anime slop but idk, I still found them charming, the girls all being gorgeous and having one archetype for every taste also probably contributed.

what was your crush? I realy digged the teacher in 2 and the earth tomboy in 1, also when the cleric became the dark witch she instantly got from a 6 to a 10 in my book

Imageepoch was the biggest kusoge jrpg dev of the late 00s-early 10s. Almost all their games were memberberry games:

And they were almost all total dogshit. Then they pivoted from being a memberberry company to a T&A company (e.g. Criminal Girls) because they were evidently bleeding money.

The company shut down because the owner ended up getting arrested for money laundering/tax evasion or something.

They deserve to be forgotten.

I loved 7th Dragon. Scratched the same party building itch as Etrian Odyssey even if it was generally inferior in other departments.
Stella Glow was great. Luminous Arc 2 was ok.

I there a translation patch? is it any good?

I really like both 7th dragon 2020 and code VFD. Best thing about them were the classes and how they play with each other. I much prefer them over Etrian Odyssey
Currently playing Stella Glow, tactical RPG is not my type but this one is kinda fun, until the grind ofc

I read LA 3 did get an English translation but they used machine learning to do the translation and this was long before the AI boom.

Eh,I feel the luminous arc and stella glow games were solid but nothing new, like, pretty decent rpg and you could have a good time but nothing really outstanding, the definition of average, stella glow had good music for the girls
