What's up with the game?
It just released a demo yesterday and nobody talks about it.
All the videos I found about it seem to be sponsored by Stardock.

Is there any potential? Is this just a stealth remaster of the first game?
I never played Ashes 1.
There is no tutorial and it feels like a game that takes a lot of getting used to it

it seems to play with more safe guards using limited stuctures slots per node with more focus on army composition adding troops and alot of the unit or structure upgrades gutted to cut down on micro when things scale up.

I played a few matches now. I can't tell if the game is more like a prototype or if I just struggle with the controls.
Not too shabby, but it feels very unfinished.
Reminds me a lot about a real time version of Antiyoy.

Unit groups stay around even if everyone in the group is dead.
Probably because groups retain veterancy but its weird that you can just move any unit to a group with high veterancy and it just receives all the benefits or something?

I saw a video where someone reasoned that turrets might be to strong and when I played I hit unit limit and almost all my units were dead until I realized that turrets count towards limit. I couldn't find the shortcut to delete, so I had to manually click and delete turrets.
