Oh yeah, speaking of, The Thing about Anne-Marie, since I watched her POV I understand her a little more. She's not simply meek and quiet, she was raised sheltered, she's a noble, she never experienced any hardship or anything out of the norm. But she has the spirit of adventure. So she's really interested in vagabonds, they're fascinating to her, intriguing, unusual.
And I won't be surprised if she's drawn to danger too, I feel like that will be in her character. Looking forward to her going "A ghost lady? Cool. Dreadwalkers? Can I touch them? Poppies? Let me get a whiff."

Finished catching up with the VOD, what a fun episode with lots of character development and lore nuggets. Loving that it's becoming clear quite a few people have an idea they're Saltborn or at least not from New Galleon, also awesome that as far as I know none of the new people have seen a dreadwalker which is really adding to the dynamic between the new and old characters. Gonna have to jump through other POV's and probably transcribe some of the conversations from this episode with how much we got.

Watching RTBW, Solomon's POV, and some fuckery is going on.
Remember how in Eliza's POV, at the very end, she heard super creepy demon whispers? And then she was jumped by woman screaming and lightning strike? Spooky AF. Well, at that moment Solomon was on the wall, looking at the woods. Because HE heard creepy whispers coming from there. And HE heard the woman screaming accompanied by lighting and thunder. Best part, he wasn't alone - Declan, Dirk, Daisy were there too, and NONE of them heard or saw anything.
Once again, Eliza is as important as Solomon, for some mysterious reason.

And speaking off, watched Stiorra's POV and she repremanded Dane for asking too many questions. Remember how he was like "Eliza, you're a nobody, why the hell do you hear voices too?" Stiorra told him that gods work in mysterious ways and he shouldn't question it or see a logical explanation. She was just chosen, and we have to wait and see why, don't jump to conclusions too early. Considering she herself is the "voice of god", maybe we should listen.

I'm pretty sure Eliza is/was meant to be a seer equivalent to the saltborn. From what I've seen the vagabonds and saltborn are more similar than different so it would stand to reason they have similar positions in their society. Elliot seems to have spent most of his life being a merchant in New Galleon while Eliza stayed with their mother presumably still on the islands, however Eliza also seems to have never really been taught a trade which feels odd from a community similar to the vagabonds where everyone clearly has a purpose. We know she only really picked up being a merchant once she reunited with Elliot and even then it almost seems like she ran away to work with Elliot based on the most recent letter from their mother. Finally and probably the strongest evidence is her saying this past episode "I always wanted to hear, always wanted to hear for a long time. The gods didn't answer me when I did my walk". Now this does raise a few questions, since as far as I can recall she only really mentioned Daedis prior to reading Stiorra's book at the end of S1, but that statement implies she's always been somewhat aware of the other gods so what else is she hiding in that regard? I will be curious to see if we get alot of info on the isles. The next main RP series is in the west which is about as far away from the isles as possible so this is probably the best chance we have to get a decent amount of info since we're right next to them. I think we're gonna get most of her lore before the end with how important she is, we already have Dane, Solomon and Stiorra's backstory so would be weird to miss Eliza's.
