Dear diary:
I should network with new vtubers, but I feel like it's pointless to force myself onto them just to get a handful of collabs, I can't, for the life of mine, grow so they don't gain anything, and I keep collabing but none of the people who I collab last nor their viewers migrate because I'm absolutely boring; there is nothing to win for them and even if we have the so called good moment it all goes down the drain after a while.
I'm too antisocial by nature, trying to vtube by networking just keeps me off-centered from what I want and then I come back to bitch about wanting to be myself and do my own things (which I missed from doing merely because I forced myself to be social, once again to gain nothing and benefit no one)
And it's not that I haven't made good acquaintances or "friends", but it just doesn't work for me, I don't really care about having them if after all they all end up being transitory in nature; I should just accept that I'm wasting my time by being social like that and finally do what I keep postponing because "I haven't networked enough to make such thing work even if I created it".
Maybe some years in the future I can come back to this and decide that at that time then it will be fine to network and socialize and all that elbow rubbing, but man I'm fucking it up by doing all of that and trying to pursue something that has, after all this time, already shown to be meaningless for me and ineffective for what I want.
Something about the things that I make ultimately failing stills sounds in the back of my mind directly related to that, but I should actually make something instead of finding the sweet excuse for doing this other social thing which I don't even enjoy nor gain anything from.
And probably, if I were honest, I could try to actually socialize, and surround myself with new people and all of that, but to waste an entire year doing that and becoming that much of a vtuber dependant on these other vtubers seems so wasteful, I can do something else much better, much more rapidly and at my own pace; trying to accomodate other people has already shown to be so time-consuming.
And there is this other thing too, the aspect of showing up and being there and trying to help and whatnot people who seem to not want to achieve anything, I already have myself for that, why go to others if they will do the exact same thing but in that case also trigger my stupidity because I can judge it from the outside.
We will see what I conclude, I have been thinking about it already for too long, maybe I should finally do something about it soon enough.

As an update in case this also happens to someone in here, the Shorts I uploaded somewhat started to pick up and now both are at 5k views like normal.
I was about to delete it and re-upload it, but looks like you only need to give it some time so it doesn't overlap with your other shorts? It's pure speculation, but it started to lift up once my other short was about 4k views so I'll correlate both events until I get more data. Next week I'll repeat the experiment with another pair of shorts and see what happens.
