Honest question. If I understand correctly, you're not supposed to surprise her, and for that reason you should approach from the shoulder. But what if the horse has its back to you in, say, an alley, and you can't approach from the shoulder, can you call it out in the distance so it knows you're there and approaching and not trying to surprise it? What about without the alley, an open field and you're coming up and the horse is distracted looking away from you, calling it out so it turns towards you? (or even if it doesn't, it wouldn't be surprised when you arrive, would it?)

My issue is mostly because it says "this because of that", but what about other ways of dealing with "that"? Would that work?

you mean extend a video? Yes that is already done, you can use any video or even the last frame from any video and gen from there. The key of course is to give the prompt enough detail and depending on the model of the AI it may "remember" the previous genned scene. But that is what it all about in genning longer video scenes. It is easy to simply do a scene cut to another scene or a camera angle that could include the properties of the genned scene that is there. Any model will have limits on how long a scene could realistically be continues without continuity errors appearing, even a face could change suddenly and backgrounds can move around and change. More faster moving scenes were ethe background may change anyway would be easier, maybe in a prompt specific parts of the scene can be told to stay as static as possible in appearance, anything further away from foreground will move more slowly if say a person is walking.
