I can prove to you, without tasting it, that this is a scam. having individual waiters perform all these steps is purposefully inefficient, and that inefficiency will be borne ultimately by the customer. the value that the restaurant is trying to sell to you isn't the taste of the dessert but the theater of having a line of waiters and waitresses assemble your food.

Its actually not too strange seeing in the west we have shit like ching chong chinese restaurant. they are just doing it for a brand. Average chinese people dont know WTF the name means and same in the west.
Though also in the west, at least here they call it shit like yellow valley, or golden dragon rather than chinese sounding words. Its all marketing though.
