I'm looking for Black Lagoon subtitles that fit with the Dub. As in word for word with the dub like closed captions (preferably dialogue only). Not looking for a download of the whole series just subtitles in srt format (or any other that works with vlc).

what you are referring to is called "dubtitles" they're kinda looked down upon in anime as dubs are suppose to be inaccurate to fit the lip syncing. The only anime I know that has them are ghibli movies, I doubt they have one for BL but you can try that search term.

I dunno if BL was English Dub broadcasted on TV, but because Cowboy Bebop hasb been, I think the dubtitles could have been for the hearing impaired. Dunno if that info could help though finding more dubtitles.

I honestly wish dubtitles were more accepted. I don't watch a lot of anime, but I watch most programs with subtitles and not having the subtitles match up with what I'm hearing fucks with me.
>Why not watch subs then?
Because I don't want to have to keep my eyes constantly glued to the screen. Closed captions are helpful when I can't fully make out what someone is saying, due to auditory processing issues.
>Are you saying subtitles should be based on dub scripts?
Dubtitles should be an extra option. They shouldn't replace primary subtitles.
