Tried posting this to /tv/, but didn't get much help.

>possibly silent
>from the 40's at the latest
>live action
>features two clowns straddling a plane
>one loses leg to propeller in comedic fashion
>caught a glimpse of it on TV in the early 00's

Does this actually exist, or did I imagine it? I can't find even a breadcrumb of information about it online, and this thread contains the extent of my own memory of it.

there couldn't be that many films from that era, so someone who knows a bout silent era films should be able to answer this.
perhaps try looking in some kinda index for that stuff, if such a thing exists.
