i am trying to play demon's souls on rpcs3 with the vulkan renderer instead of opengl, because it's agonizingly slow ofc

the reason i cant use vulkan atm is because of this [last line is what shows on the error dialog box]

i have had the recommended settings, settings changed for a little more speed, and whatnot, and i get this same error, so it is an issue with vulkan itself
BUT there is no D:\ drive on my computer

hell, iirc, i've played gamecube games with vulkan a year or so ago and NEVER got this error

so why is vulkan searching somewhere that doesn't exist? how can i stop it from looking there and freezing?
