hello /wsr/, this is my first post here. A month or two ago, my workplace gave me a box full of old ipads and tablets because they were in poor condition or because they couldn't remember the icloud passwords/ who set them up.
I am trying to look for ways to reset it that don't revolve contacting the orginal owner because 1: no one knows who the fuck it is and 2: if it is who they think it is, she died like 4 years ago. All the tutorials I find online, in some way or another, require the original owners password and are done in a specific way as to not void warranty. I simply do not care about voiding warranty because these are all gen 4 ipads that I got for free and fully plan on jailbreaking. I am willing to do brute force methods like short circuit trickery or whatever because I have a couple tries to get it right.

however the proper thing to do would be to give back what you stole

Why would your workplace give to you those?
Why wouldn't your workplace know who the owner was?
Why would the owner of them all be a single person, being many of the same gen?

*If* they aren't stolen you can go to an Apple store to get them unlocked
