Come discuss the worship and conjuration of Ishtar, Inanna, Aphrodite, other historically related deities/spirits, and their entourages.
"Appearing in more literary compositions than any other deity, Inanna embodied endless complexities and contradictions: an unbridled goddess at once upholding and destroying the status quo; a passionate goddess engaging in romantic and destructive erotic love; a heavenly goddess who trod the underworld; a feminine goddess who was sometimes portrayed as a bearded warrior; and a mercurial goddess bestowing tender mercies even as she moved freely from one conquest to another."
"[Astarte] is often paired with Baal and also — in a warlike form called Astoreth — with Set. The Mesopotamian goddesses Ishtar and Inanna are other forms of this goddess. The mysteries of Inanna and Dumuzi, Ishtar and Tammuz, and of Astarte and Adonis, were an influence upon the Egyptian mysteries of Isis and Osiris, in which a Queen Astarte appears. Given the combined influence of the cult of Isis, and the Syrian Goddess, on the later Christian cult of Mary, Astarte is among the most influential and important of all Classical deities."
If you're interested in working with the Queen of Heaven, the best things you can do are to start meditating, making offerings, and maybe banishing. Preferably do all three daily, or at least a few times a week. This will get her attention and improve your ability to communicate with her, as well as generally train your occult abilities.

"How do I get in touch with the Queen of Heaven?"
This is a question often asked here. One way to get into contact with one form or another of Our Lady is with simple prayer. This is of course very good regardless of your ability to sense spirits, especially when accompanied by an offering. When you make an offering, make it as nice and clean as you can. Don't offer bodily fluids. Food, incense, and alcohol are all good.
That said, most of us will need to work at our spirit sense abilities before we can get a response. For this, you can do shamatha meditation (I'll post a guide if someone has trouble finding one, but a simple Google should bring up many results). There's also two meditations called Looking Past the Veil and Pillar and Spheres from the book "Consorting With Spirits" by Jason Miller. This book is highly worth buying or pirating in general, especially because the main operation within is a conjuration of the chthonic from of Our Lady, Astaroth. You could also learn tummo or practice any other form of mysticism that is meant to yield siddhi/magical abilities. I can repost the old /omg/ OP if anons are interested in the old library or the crash courses to different traditions within.
And then you could work Rod and Ring or Liber Astarte or any of the various grimoires that can summon Astaroth or the Scrying Bowl of Aphrodite once you've done this every day for awhile and feel your power building. And if you don't want to work any of those, I hope you like dream work. Get good at lucid dreaming, get a strong practice of devotion going, and you could meet Our Lady in your dreams. Maybe she'll even teach you practices that you could contribute to the thread or just for your own benefit.

"LOOK PAST THE VEIL
Not all spirit skills require discipline and training. Some are little tricks of perception that you can do anywhere at any time-even right now as you read this book. Try the following:
Step 1: Look straight ahead. It doesn't matter what is in front of you-anything from a sprawling vista to a wall will do. Just look.
Step 2: Now imagine that everything in front of you is actually on a video screen. Pretend it's a two-dimensional representation of what you see. It looks the same, just as it would if you were looking at a high-definition screen that took up your whole view, but you know that it is just a screen.
Step 3: Consider what is on the other side of that screen. Listen closely. Reach out with your feelings. Can you sense it? Is there something on the other side?
What this simple exercise does is collapse our normal sensation of three dimensions of space down to two dimensions, which leaves a mental "slot" open for us to perceive something we normally don't.
Warning: As simple as this exercise is, it has caused momentary nausea or dizziness in some students who try it. Others have been panicked by the sense of feeling beyond ordinary space, and the sensation that something might be looking back. As always, you have to monitor what you can and can't handle."

"PILLAR AND SPHERES
...For this ritual to really work, you have to know the qualities of the elements and let them release in the body. Aristotle described the four elements main according to a system of being wet or dry and hot or cold. Earth is dry and cool. Fire is hot and dry. Air is warm and wet. Water is cool and wet. There is a certain symmetry here where Fire and Water are opposites, as are Air and Earth. In addition to these qualities I would add qualities that speak to how these behave in their gross physical manifestations: Earth is stable, Fire consumes and expands, Water flows and fills, Air blows and moves rapidly.
When we do the Pillar and Spheres, we place Earth at the root not only because it is firm and solid, but because it gives the material that fire can consume. As we build the fire just below the navel, we consume the material below it and start heating everything above it. Water gets placed at the heart, which is brought to a boil by the fire below it. Steam rises from the water (remember Air is warm and wet according to Aristotle), which then melts the seed of Spirit/Space at the crown of the head. The wisdom of Spirit/Space then descends over the body, blessing each of the elements and making them even more potent and subtle. This is internal Alchemy: the rise of vitality and passion and the descent of ennobling wisdom.
The whole picture is rather like a Witch's cauldron inside the body. Earth is the ground and wood that the fire is built upon. The cauldron is set upon that fire and heats the water within it, releasing the cloud of steam and scent that rises to heaven.
What happens is that the entire body is sublimated and made more subtle, more spirit like."
You could also perform the inner fire practice from Stoking the Witchfire by Vijnana Nath, which is too long to post here

The general idea is that you pick a form of mysticism, and a complimentary magical tradition. Then continue the work until you can make contact with Our Lady.

Are there any particular rituals I can do on a regular basis? I was thinking of making some of my own to build my personal relationship with her, something goes beyond my usual nightly prayers and the more formal daytime prayers I have started practicing. Our goddess definitely does a lot for me and I want to find ways to do more for her. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Shamatha meditation, offerings, and prayer can take you a long way.
The Saucer Divination of Aphrodite (pic related) could be done daily as good practice for scrying and communication with the deity — this is traditional Hellenistic practice.
You could check out Rod and Ring if you want to practice in a reconstructionist Mesopotamian paradigm.
You could prepare to run one of the traditional grimoires to evoke Our Lady in her chthonic form as Astaroth. I recommend the Verum.
Goetic Liturgy can be ran as a daily practice with the invocation of Isis — or you could write your own invocation to Aphrodite or Ishtar based on Crowley's rubric if Isis isn't the form of Our Lady you want to work with. Obviously you'd drop the spirit evocation section for a daily practice.
And finally if you don't care about being particularly traditional at all, the Simon Necronomicon is supposed to be good quality chaos magic. You could try working with Ishtar this way too.

This book explains why certain personality types are drawn to "love and war" feminine figures through anime, and, importantly, why they become trannies, pedophiles and other types of deviants through it

>Spunky girl superheroes are surely preferable to damsels in distress. But as the creeping qualifiers in Napier’s prose (“albeit highly sexualized,” “anticipate,” “genuine, although small”) suggest, the beautiful fighting girl is not an unambiguous icon of feminist empowerment. Napier’s slight discomfort turns to outright hostility in other critics, for whom the beautiful fighting girl’s hypersexualized and borderline pedophilic image is a symptom of precisely the opposite: the continuing objectification and infantilization of women in Japanese society.[3] This polarization of attitudes toward her is perhaps the beautiful fighting girl’s most definitive characteristic.

That still does not say what you said in >>42048436 . It also has nothing to do with the subject of the thread. This is not a thread about Fate GO. The images are just here to drum up interest.

>>42048410
I have to say though, it is my understanding that the Necronomicon is not to be toyed with and a practitioner should complete the whole grimoire from start to finish and not just selectively choose to walk one gate of a chosen deity.
Perhaps I could take influences from it as well as other things such as what you provided and make my own chaos magic form?

In that case I cannot say. I definitely wouldn't rip bits out to create my own system without understand what they do. The Devil's Advocate on TikTok is fairly serious about this kind of stuff and has implied that you can use the Names of Marduk without working the whole grimoire, if that helps.
>>
>>42050639
Agreed, I have worked with the Names of Marduk for many years. I have been seeing many others refer to the Simon Necronomicon as chaos magic too and chaos magic is my sort of thing. It would make me think one could sort of do their own thing, but I still take the Necronomicon too seriously to cherry pick from it even if it is a Chaos Magick grimoire. I was thinking maybe at the very least though I could meditate upon the seals of Ishtar contained within the book but not necessarily walk the gates.

Since you've worked them, why do you think it's okay to work with the Names of Marduk and not the rest of the grimoire out of order? Come to think of it, the warnings in the book were why I chose not to work with the Names a few years ago, due to other practice commitments

Largely because it has been generally accepted, including by the author himself after releasing the spellbook, that you can work with the 50 names without being an initiate who has walked the gates.
You may find that those who have walked the gates sometimes report feeling some sort of unsettling entity is watching them or out to get them if they do not complete the gate walkings and the grimoire itself does seem to suggest that some unwelcome entities may be taking an interest in you to try and stop you completing your works.
I understand this argument could be made about the Book of Marduk, but very many people have used it ever since the author released it as a stand alone spellbook and approved it for use by the non-initiated and in my experience it is safe.

Hey everybody, I just wanted to check in and help keep the thread going with a contribution. This is a prayer/invocation I am now using when I offer Lady Ishtar libations and give thanks. While I do like to offer her alcohol, I often find it pleasant and appropriate to offer her non-alcoholic beverages. Often sparkling teas and other effervescent drinks with a pleasant scent.
