The beings who are influencing Earth now are called aliens by some people, and demons by other people.
To call them demons - and angels - makes sense in a way that there are 2 non-human species, one hostile and one friendly to humanity. But they're not enemies or servants of "God", they're just other species.
To call them aliens is also possible, but they're supernatural, can possess human bodies, and also exist without body (at the astral plane).
So the terminology of demons and aliens is a bit confusing here.
David Icke talked about "interdimentional" beings, and called them aliens but also demons at his talks.
What would you prefere? How shold they be called?

The Pentagon is trying to use ayy lmaos to distract from Epstein, Israel and the war against Iran
Extraterrestrial life may exist, probably does actually, but it is not in contact with the US government (unless you count jews)

The hindus call them Devas. That is usually translated as "gods" but actually doesn't mean immortal beings but just another "higher" species in the cosmos.

Vedic and Buddhist cosmology is more nuanced. These spirit entities come in many different types, shapes and forms. To lump it together as demons or angels isn't very helpful.
Deva Realm (Gods): Beings in blissful states, ranging from sensual desire realms (Kāmadhātu) to subtle form realms (Rūpadhātu) and formless realms (Ārūpyadhātu). They enjoy longevity but are not immortal.
Asura Realm (Demigods): Powerful, envious beings who fight with the devas.
Human Realm: A realm characterized by a mix of pleasure and suffering, considered the best place for attaining enlightenment.
Animal Realm: Characterized by ignorance, instinct, and survival.
Preta Realm (Hungry Ghosts): Beings driven by insatiable cravings and attachment.
Naraka Realm (Hell Beings): Realms of intense suffering, either hot or cold, resulting from negative karma.

Kamadhatu Devas (Sensual World): Inhabit the lowest heavenly realms, possessing physical forms similar to humans but more radiant and pleasurable. Key examples from this group include:
Devas of the Four Great Kings: Guardians of the four cardinal directions.
Devas of the Thirty-three (Trāyastriṃśa): Led by Indra (Taishaku-ten).
Yama Devas: Contented Devas.
Tuṣita Devas: Where the future Buddha Maitreya resides.
Nirmāṇarati Devas: Delight in creation.
Parinirmita-vaśavartin: Have power over others' creations; this is the realm of Māra.
Rupadhatu Devas (Form World): Sexless and passionless beings inhabiting higher, structured heavens. These include the Brahma retinueĀbhāsvara (second dhyāna)Śubhakṛtsna (third dhyāna), and Bṛhatphala (fourth dhyāna) devas.
Arupyadhatu Devas (Formless World): Devas with no physical form or location, existing only in advanced meditative states

Yeah, and in addition to that there are various Yakshas, Rakshas, dragons and other nature and underworld spirits.
But still the public discourse it pretty much divided into team aliens (usually the atheists) and team demons (usually the religious people).
