Anons, I need help. I want to go on an astral travel, but I suffer from scoliosis and therefore have to move occasionally to adjust my back. In addition, my face itches from time to time and I have to scratch it, all of which causes me to lose my body's relaxation. What should I do?

Use pillows strategically. Put concentrated thought into pillows in specific positions, or using multiple pillows, that you finally feel peace with. Sitting can get you to that state too, or sitting on an incline.

For me there’s a supplement that deals with this nicely. It’s called Valerian root. It’s good for sleep but it definitely helps with the pre-sleep itchiness/restlessness

Get into deep altered state first, which you're supposed to be doing anyway in order to project. I recommend the theta wave level. Use binaural beats if necessary. When you're that deep you lose awareness of itches. Can't help you with the back question.

if you can go a night of sleep without readjusting you can go the few minutes necessary to AP.

first make sure you are realy comfortable, once you know you are, ignore all the discomfort that arise.
this place try to distract you so you don't AP.

Okay, here's what I know (it's a drop in an ocean though who really knows iykwims). Scoliosis is discussed here (link below this paragrapg) although aligning your body to compensate for it might help. Robert Bruce says it's preferable to have a bit of discomfort so you don't fall asleep (idk, that's what he says but more on him later. He is right about a lot of stuff and perhaps more BUT --->). In case you are interested in managing your scoliosis (imo you should be)

Yeah, how about you go fuck yourself.

About the itches, the Monroe Insitute says scratch if there's an itch. Bruce (gentleman from before) says to do it veeeeery slowly--with some practice you should be able to be between the states to an extent and scratching an itch is something you will therefore be able to do without jeopardizing the relaxed state.

Now, as to the other stuff you might be wondering about, you're going to have to keep looking and learn about it yourself
