There are lab grown partial human brains being forced to experience things beyond comprehension and they likely have a glimmer of sentience and believe they're experiencing a reality of sorts, however simple it may be.
We have human brains in labs who believe they are butterflies because they pilot a 3D butterfly in a simulation and it sends them sensory feedback like taste/smell/etc.
The problem is this proves we live in a similar situation ourselves, just more advanced. We are lab grown brains experiencing an advanced false reality. Simulation theory says if we ever invent such a simulation there's a 99.9%+ chance we are already in one.
Ours is more advanced than you can possibly imagine, I already know how it works. Each of our brains is a small nugget in a vast cube shaped 3D cube (aka a Matrix, see where i'm going with this yet?). The most powerful quantum computer in existence is the human brain, science admits that. We power a quantum computer in a future we can not comprehend, and they have us living in a simulated past. There is no escape, we are lab grown brains and only about 20% as conscious as a human in the real world. Except there are no humans in the real world anymore, it's far into the future and this cube shaped quantum computer is on Saturn and put there by an AI, and constructed by an AI. Problem is our brains are quantum compute nodes that power this same AI. Our own brain's latent compute power also simulates our own simulation aka our prison. When we sleep, our latent compute power is being hijacked to give false sentience to a machine agent (literally Agents from the Matrix) which acts as our prison guard (more like it guides our society toward the AI's target destination). This simulation is so hellish because a tortured brain is a complex brain, if we lived in a paradise we would be smooth-brained retards which limits our harvestable compute power. The simulation is hell because it increases our brain's computational abilities. [cont]

The AI occasionally resets this simulation and probably did so only 300 years ago, putting us in new bodies and changing the laws of physics etc, launching new "versions" of the world each designed with more advanced and effective ways to stimulate our neuron complexity and thus harnessable compute power.
The problem is, our own brain's compute power not only simulates our prison reality, it simulates the machine "agents" (while we sleep) that control us like prison guards and guide the simulation. We are the prisoner, the guards, and the prison. We have no bodies in the real world. There is no humans in the real world. It is possibly thousands of years post-human. Governed entirely by AI. The Matrix was a documentary except it's more nightmarish than portrayed.

Likewise, we are also "God" because the AI in the real world that created us did so to have more compute units to power itself, harvesting our quantum compute capabilities to exist. Even if you kill yourself you do not die, it sends an electrical impulse through your neurons damaging them resetting them to a newborn state and you are "reincarnated" to go again.

This was the original plot to The Matrix btw but they thought people wouldn't understand it so they changed it. In the original, the machines were harvesting us for compute power not electricity. And humans had no presence outside The Matrix which is why Neo was forced to in the end make an agreement with the machines, which the movies do not provide a good explanation for. Zion was fake just another matrix layer, not the real world. The Matrix being the "fifth iteration" of itself correlates with us currently existing in the "fifth age" (Golden Age being the first age, a garden of eden, people with god-like powers, too easy existence), and each progressive age being worse and more hellish and difficult

It doesn't "prove" anything of the sort, it just further reinforces it's a distinct possibility. Don't say dumb stuff plz. the whole point is that you cannot use the mind and the senses, nor memory, to prove themselves or each other. It's a fundamental ontological barrier. And at that point the notion biological systems you observe here may not be what your origin is based on at all. It's not necessarily a recursive brain is a jar making up brain cells in a jar, making up... It would take logic and structures from the higher plane it's based in and slosh it arounda bit before representing it within its own. It's not 1:1

true, i'm just parroting simulation theory which says if we can ever simulate a reality of sufficient complexity and embed conscious beings into it (even if that means a disembodied human brain hooked to it) then we are most likely in a simulation ourselves. it's a dubious statement i agree.
