I think the same. Babel was destroyed for nothing in comparison to what we got now. They went beyond 1984 and have your videogames and freezers with microphones linked to the internet and able to spy on you. And even if you get rid of this they could see where you go with your car with the stuff Google used for google maps/earth.

The news is garbage and dangerous because it is propaganda but it's so deeply ingrained into society that there's a good chance you'll sort of isolate/ostracize yourself for not indulging at the work place/school/etc since basically everyone else is consuming the propaganda and its the easiest thing to initiate a conversation with. And since it's common understanding that "everyone" watches the news, you're missing out on quality social time with your peers. It's very subtle but really fucked up when you see it.

Yes. You must care, it sounds like you're in a really dark space right now, you've said it yourself, you don't care and maybe prefer to give up, but that's only because you're listening to the whispers of demons felling you to give up, telling you that it's easier to just fall down then to put in the hard for for yourself and our Lord Jesus Christ. Do what you can. Promote peace, the advances in technology are curing many illnesses, theres less poverty than there was in the past, wars are shorter with fewer casualties than in the past. Less crime in the US than there used to be. I dont think the planet will be destroyed.
