Pretty sure earth has always been a prison planet. If you read about historical events you will see how bloodthirsty and sadistic humans have always been, in the past even moreso. Stuff like cannibalism and child rape and sacrifice was totally normal in many cultures like the scythians and Phoenicians.
I would say even boomers and the silent generation were far more physically cruel and sadistic than today’s generation. There is a lot more social stigma and shaming attached to mindless cruelty than there was in the past. Just tune out of the 24/7 news cycle and you won’t feel so bad.

maybe tougher, idk about needlessly cruel. but feels like most people i encounter have absolutely no honor or moral virtue any more. i find myself essentially subscribing to a wariness of "gentiles", not meaning non jews by any means but the sort of people who act out mindless cruelties perpetually and have no real divine tether or drive to the eternal whatsoever.

The silent generation are responsible for shit like Auschwitz, Unit 731, Nanking, Barbarossa and Berlin mass rapes etc. Boomers were responsible for stuff like Vietnam, 9/11, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Ruby Ridge, Waco etc and also masterminding Gaza.
Millenials and zoomers and Gen Alpha have done very little evil in comparison, except those who have served in the military. Rape and homicide rates are also falling among the youth. I would say if anything people are becoming more civilized and morally outraged by cruelty.

No friend, don’t apologize. I don’t blame you for coming to that conclusion, there are moments when I feel the same way. But really its just because we are bombarded with more information than any other generation was. Social media also gives sociopaths and narcissists a platform and wide reach. But when you step back for a moment and think about it, I think theres a strong disdain now for needless and shameless cruelty. A lot more social stigma like I said.
