Like all great projects, you leave it behind for a while... 5 years might be a little too long, time to get back on the saddle and work on it.
For those that were in the loop back in the day, this is a revival effort to bring /3/ back to the cup and even though /3/'s history in the 4CC isn't necessarily stellar, it's always a work in progress. Things have changed since the last time the team played an official match, Konami stopped making games and we've been reusing older games with mixed success, however there are tools to have the same model quality as the newer versions of Pro Evolution Soccer before the series ceased production by converting them to the older games.
For those that don't even know what this is all about, the 4CC is an inter-board competition where /3/ used to compete from 2012-2015 with a revival that went from 2018-2021, the team has fallen inactive since then but if there's enough interest ITT the team will return to competition with me and my co-manager Wyvern at the helm. There are 4 cups per year named after each season featuring the Elite and Babby divisions, the second division is the entry point for new/reviving teams and with the Spring Babby Cup coming up, team registration has opened and the time is now to revive /3/.
Let's go fire up Blender one more time and kick a ball around, hopefully we don't lose too badly. For more info see https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//3/

Gentlemen, download those new Blender addons you've been looking at, dust off your graphics tablets, put on your beautifully modelled boots, it's time for some divegrass.
I'll be lending a hand with keeping things running. Let's see what /3/ can do after a good long rest.

We'll be taking it slow for now, gonna be introducing some new kits and at least one new player (as seen in >>1026507) as we'll be adapting to the older PES engine's way of doing things, we quite like the existing roster the team had and think it is a good starting point, it'll develop as time goes on, of course.

The models will be done in-house by me and my co-manager as the job of the manager is to put together the team, both tactically and aesthetically. The "aesthetics" refers to the stuff you see on the pitch such as kits and the aforemetioned player models.
We will be gladly taking player requests to make the team represent the board more, if you or anyone are interested in helping out please check the wiki.

Anyone reading this can recommend them on this thread since we're keeping an eye on it, if there's even enough new player ideas we'll consider making a roster poll to keep it fresh. We'll start small and keeping what we already have for now though, just testing the waters for the time being.

We are ready to go for friendlies! Submitted the exports and you'll be seeing /3/'s comeback games this Friday and Saturday. 3rd game in line both days, roughly at 18:20 UTC.
>>

>>
File: bta.png (278.1 KB)
Friendlies didn't necessarily go to plan, the most disappointing part was that we couldn't even score one. That's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes as PES was clearly not amused by our offerings but we've got options and we chose one of them for friendlies, we'll have something else for cup proper.
We might play again tomorrow depending on whether or not the commissioner books us in one of the remaining slots.

>We might play again tomorrow depending on whether or not the commissioner books us in one of the remaining slots.
>booked again vs /vm/
>lose 3-1
At least we got a goal this time.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>1026688
Here's what we know on the matter now that the commissioner has given the word.
>PES 15 confirmed for Spring 26 at least
>GGSSS medals at 99 rated golds, 88 rated silvers, 77 rated nonmedals and 74 rated goalkeepers
>will be using the same ruleset and patch as used in friendlies
>subs reduced from 4 to 3 to take account for the medals being changed from 4 to 5
tl;dr - PES 15 confirmed this cup
>>
>>
>>1026888
It's true, things definitely did not go our way in the friendlies. Changes have been made so going forward hopefully things will turn out better and the PES gods will smile on us. Then again, 15 seemingly has a vendetta against us specifically but we'll do our best to bring home some wins.

Now that we're confirmed in, the dates and times for the upcoming babby cup are as follows;
Group Stage Draw - April 19th, 1700 UTC (as posted above, could be interesting, could be deeply traumatic, we shall see)
Opening Weekend - April 24th-26th, 1700 UTC
Second Weekend - May 1st-3rd, 1700 UTC
Final Weekend - May 9th-10th, 1700 UTC
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Alright folks, today is the day of the Spring Babby Cup draw, tune in at 17:00 UTC!
Additionally, we'll be moving back to stadium.blend that we used back in Autumn 2018 and Winter 2019 because Polly's Wonderland (pic related) couldn't be converted too well to the older versions of PES, no shaders made it look garish and even though we tried our best to mitigate it, with the cup coming up we decided to cut our losses and revert to the old stadium.
>>

>>

>>
>>1027685
I don't like to put too much of a negative spin on things but yeah, this isn't exactly the draw we were hoping for and this is going to be a pretty tough group straight out of the gate with /pol/ and /u/. That being said we'll give it our best shot.

Nearly there! We're just one hour away from our 4CC return for the first time in 5 years, our match is scheduled to start at 19:00 UTC but given that things are usually slower on the first day, do keep in mind we may not start until a little after that.
Hopefully this video can act as a good luck charm, this was the goal that sent us through to the Winter 2019 final and our last victory on this game engine.

Thanks, it's a shame it ended in a draw when we pulled out a two goal lead more than once but there you go. I'm personally pleased we helped deliver an entertaining game, fingers crossed going forwards though there's a couple of tough matches coming. Make sure you post your car model here when you're done so we can all have a look.

Fantastic game, tough result to take. For what it's worth we're thrilled the viewing public with maybe the best game in the tournament and the successful debut of Gunt, however the game itself was up and down with the attack being buttery smooth and Doomrider becoming an absolute god to always keep us within reach. The goalkeeper letting in that weird free kick didn't help either.
Inexperience definitely came back to haunt us as ten men abuse dug the grave, admittedly we didn't know how to deal with it as their red card drastically changed the match and it started getting away from us, maybe parking the bus was the wrong decision but at the same time everything was going to plan until that red card. I can't promise that things will get better with the remaining schedule we have but we'll give it our best shot, our destiny is still in our hands.

Alright gang. We're about an hour and a half away (give or take accounting for Sou time) from the start of day 3 of the 2026 Spring Babby Cup. We're up second at 17:40 UTC and we've got a tough opponent today - /u/. They're an experienced team and out for blood following the breaking of their Elite Cup streak so come, show your support and let's see what we can do.

WE DID IT! This is the moments we live for, we knew it was a tough group and we went up against a bloodthirsty team and walked away with the three points. I thought we were toast once they took the lead but >blender got us level on a fantastic through ball and Utah Teapot finally got his head out of his ass to score the go-ahead goal after being regrettable all cup and friendlies. I am really proud of this team and none of this would've happened without your support, this moment belongs to you all.
We can't afford to rest now, we can go through to the knockouts if /tg/ beats /u/ but I doubt that'll be happening. Onwards to the game against /pol/ where we'll have to give it our all one last time!

For those of you that haven't checked out /4ccg/, here's the matrix going into next weekend for you all. Plenty of opportunities for us to go onwards so wish us luck in our next match against /pol/ on Saturday 2nd May.
>>
>>
>>1028002
Correct, if /tg/ beat /u/, we're automatically through. If both us and /tg/ win, we're also through to the knockouts. That also extends to us drawing with /pol/ in which case if /u/ wins it'll be us and /u/ going through. The ones to be concerned about are the event of /pol/ winning and /u/ either winning or drawing. The most stressful event of all will be both /pol/ and /u/ each winning with a one or more goal lead with both matches having the same scoreline in which case we will have to play /tg/ again in a playoff to decide which of us goes through.

Well, here we are, the final weekend of groups. We're up for our last match today and we're playing /pol/. We're in a pretty good position but that's no reason to get complacent, of course the result of the /tg/ vs /u/ match could result in automatic promotion for us but either way, we're not going to be taking anything for granted. We'll be closing the day out at a projected 21:40 UTC so come along, wish us luck and get hyp.

ELITE AND MUSCULAR /3/. Well there you have it, not only have we successfully promoted to the elites, we've topped the group. I can't quite believe I'm saying it and I can promise you I didn't expect it when I saw the group we'd been drawn into. Thanks for watching and cheering for us through the groups, this is where it gets more real going into the knockouts and later the elites but we'll do the best we can to bring success and something enjoyable to watch.

File: gunt_pantsu.png (761.8 KB)
What a ride, never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd be going to the Elites in our first attempt, the 15th year anniversary tournament at that. I will admit that I beat myself up a lot over the /tg/ draw but things panned out for us, /tg/ are god's chosen autopilot again and I only really started believing that it was possible when we managed to get that 3-2 win over /u/.
Additionally, thank you very much to /tg/ for clinching us qualification while we were on the couch. In a moment like this, I'd like to think about what the goals were pre-cup, I just wanted us to have a decent showing and to make people enjoy the team like we did, Gunt has become a cup sensation and we're hoping we can win the Best Model award with him but it'll be an uphill climb. Either way, this cup has already been a smashing success for what we were hoping to achieve and we hope to push on and make you guys proud on Saturday and hopefully Sunday.

/u/ need /u/r panties ripped off and /3/ BIG GUNT DICKS in ALL /3/ holes at the same time!!! Way up /u/r pussy and way up /u/r ass as far as they will go but even farther. And the thickest cock goes down /u/r throat so it makes /u/ gag and convulse as those big gunt cocks pound away it feels like from the start. Such good shit!

With the group stages drawing to a close, we're going into the round of 16 next, no more draws, someone will win, extra time and benuldies :DDDDDD are now on.
If you didn't catch the draw this evening, the hat has decreed that we will be playing /g/ next. This is shaping up to be an interesting match, /g/ are looking pretty solid so it might be a bit of a nailbiter. All I can promise is that we'll give it our all so come along on Saturday and show your support, it'll be very much appreciated.

The day has come, /3/ are about to play in their first knockout game in 6 years. We'll be playing in Summer (for the first time in 14 years!) no matter what happens today but we want to see how far we can push it, /g/ will be a tough team to play against as they're one of the favorites but we've come prepared. This is also the first time we face them in 12 years and things looked a little different back then, needless to say the teams now look leaps and bounds better than they did back then.
Tune in at 17:40 UTC for /3/ vs /g/, the second match of the day, where we'll be hoping to make it to the final day for a fourth time and face off against either /vg/ or /vp/ there. There are no easy games for us this cup so let's go and give it our best shot.

WE'RE THROUGH! Well there it is, we're going through to the final day of the 2026 Spring Babby Cup with a 4-1 win over /g/. The lads put out a great performance today with WIP scoring two and solidifying our lead at 81' and NO >YOUR< PROGRAM SUCKS sealing it away at 90+4'. Unfortunately he did also pick up a yellow card so that's something we'll be keeping an eye on.
Tomorrow we'll be up against /vg/ who are looking extremely competent so this promises to be another tough match for us but we're looking forward to the challenge. Once again, thanks for all your support, come along tomorrow and cheer us on for one more match day!

Here we are friends, the final day of the 2026 Spring Babby Cup beckons, one more day at the altar of PES.
We're opening up the day with a match against /vg/, an experienced opponent looking to be the first team ever to retain their Babby Cup Winner title. Let's see if we can put a stop to that. Thankyou for all the support on our run so far, come along once more and cheer for /3/ and let's see what we can do!

Thank you all for the congratulations, we're playing /vst/ next, pick your favourite 3d strategy game, the age of 2d is over.

I only looked into what was going on with you guys after I realized my team got knocked out by a team I thought was ded and fossilized.
I just want to say that even though you guys are two goals behind right now, you've already come so amazingly far, and I still believe you can do it and make a storybook ending for your big comeback.
The energy and enthusiasm I see in this thread is exactly what we need to keep this great 4chan tradition alive. Thank you guys for this great run and GOOD LUCK. I BELEIVE IN YOU!

/m/ here, sincere commiserations /3/. You all did great on your first cup back.
Your matches were fun to watch, your team looks great and you've undoubtedly earned the title of team of the tournament, at least in my book. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you all come Summer.
Minor side note, Gunt is probably the best new player I've ever seen a team add. He's already transcended into a 4cc meme player.

Hey /3/, /vmg/bro here, sorry it had to end up like this, but you guys did incredible for your first time back and were very fun to watch, hope we could potentially have a rematch in Summer!

File: firefox_2026-05-11_00-21-44.jpg (312.7 KB)
That's the cup decided, we'll have to settle for second place for a third time I'm afraid. If this is a bit rambling, sorry in advance.
I'll start by saying a huge thank you to all of you that have shared your support and enthusiasm for the revival of /3/, it's been a long time coming and I'm blown away by just how positive the reception has been. We set out to bring some extra fun to the cup and I think we've done a pretty good job.
I still can't quite believe what a cup run we've had and I think overall the team has played really well, unfortunately there have been some blunders and pretty blinding player fuckups when it really mattered - Suzanne I'm looking at you, you stupid monkey. It'd be a lie to say my heart didn't sink while watching the initial draw getting grouped up with /u/ and /pol/ but we pushed through and carried on all the way to the battle for the Babby win. I would never have believed it if someone said to me that we'd make it all the way to the final day on our very first cup post-revival.
I hope we've done you guys proud and I'm thrilled that we'll be playing in Summer so please, tune in, we will be back.
I'll be looking at doing some form of polling post-cup so keep an eye out for that.
Thanks again for all your support, it means a lot.

Thank you all for the support in the threads and on the stream! It's a huge shame that we couldn't bring the title home despite the incredible run we had and the teams we had to face to get there. This hurts a lot but we have to look back to how we got here. When we revived the team, you guys showed such hunger and enthusiasm that made us give that extra 10% in every game, we couldn't have gone this far without your passion and support for the team. Not to mention that Gunt became a superstar right on day one, we took our little dude and made him adored by the whole audience, that's one of the great things about this cup and we've added another positive contribution.
If you had offered me this before the cup, I'd have happily accepted it. This cup was a lot of fun and a lot of great memories were made, even though we didn't bring the cup home and joined the 3-cup-loser club we still had a fantastic time and that's what it's all about. We'll be back in Summer and try our luck there, we were learning as we went and inexperience ultimately got us when we had our backs against the wall. Thank you all for the support that got us back into the cup and thank you for being here with us during this cup run, I hope we gave you some pleasant memories and that you had fun.
>>
I just wanted to say as a spectator of old, I'm really glad you brought back a cup classic, and in such great form.
You should sic Sayaka (Yumi) on Suzanne, or at least figure out what's their fuckin problem, and also the world comes together for love of Gunt. I'm proud of you guys and I wish you all the best of luck in Summer!

Good afternoon all, the games might be over until Summer but Spring isn't quite done yet. The voting for the Auties is currently ongoing so, click the link below to have your say and let's see if we can pick up a few awards for the team.

Thanks for casting your votes, it should go without saying that I want voting to be as fair and unbiased (as possible anyway) and to that end I also voted for Memebike, as much as I like Gunt and the reception he got, his model doesn't compare to the complexity and creativity of the Memebike models that we saw, that's truly a worthy winner.
>i fear that we might become hated for driving the gunt meme into the ground
Speaking entirely personally this is also something I'm keenly aware of and I really don't want him to overstay his welcome and become super stale after a single cup run. Ideally his time on the pitch would be more evenly shared with Ratboy Genius - he doesn't need to play every game. Therein lies the conflict with the will of PES and the conditions lottery.
>>
>>1028596
This is certainly a valid concern, as a reviving team we wanted to showcase Gunt since we felt that he would be a good representative for the board and we were right because he then went on to become a hit, we're glad that the cup loved him as much as we do but I personally don't want to overdo it either.
Gunt played so many games because we wanted to please the fans, we figured since that it was a Babby cup then why not. Additionally, PES really forced our hand as he was usable in every game except the one vs /u/, we'll be looking to give some of the other guys more love in Summer since the Elites are taken more seriously and we also don't want to become annoying or even disliked for having one joke and just one joke.

The results of the 2026 Spring Babby auties are in and we've won EIGHT awards and was involved in a 9th (Stat Me's red card)! We won the following awards:
>Team of the tournament (31 votes)
>Most Exciting Team (18 votes)
>Best New Kits
>Best Model (yes, it was Gunt)
>Best Overall Aesthetics
>Best Anthems (tied with ourselves lole)
>Best Goalhorn
>Best alt-horn (tied with /vg/'s SO YOU HAVE A MOTHER)
Thanks to everyone that voted for us, this just goes to show that we've put in the work and got rewarded for it!
