Last page. Thanks for reading. See you next week!

The journey is almost over, if the series ends in volume 11 then it means we've only got four more chapters left. Will Himari win in the end, or is Honoka end already confirmed?

brutal but that's just the way it goes
also i admit i enjoy seeing girls heartbroken

Himari estranged business marriage so she isn't marred with scandal (she lasted a whole 6 months before the novelty of romance wore off and she started caring about her KPI more) and passionate love mistress Honoka at his side

Fun side-fact, making products for losers is not a good business strategy. Himari says she makes makeup for normal girls to make them happy, but in reality all the popular girls would never wear the loser makeup because it would lower their self-esteem to wear it.
Lynx bodyspray tried that exact business model, helping nerdy kids get better by getting them to use cosmetics, and all that happened was that Lynx got associated as loser cologne.

nerdy kids are not normalfags
not to mention there's way more average women out there than "popular" ones, you want to pander to the largest or most willing to spend demographic, which is what himari does
she is the same as any other tiktok influencer who has a cosmetics line and the average 15 year old girl worships

Kanna should've won a long time ago. Why do japs have such shit taste in girls?

She insisted upon herself

Forced Editor girl, even worse than teacher-idol because Kanna was wasted while Teacher was obviously never going to be a serious contender.

So 4 chapters left, huh? Ono has proved that there's no way he can wrap this up in a way that feels satisfying. I guess at this point it's a matter of whether Himari wins despite recognizing herself that she shouldn't, or Honoka wins despite being fucking boring and readers realizing she shouldn't. Please look forward to seeing how much it sucks.

This is the confirmed final volume.
>>288585886
Honoka is fine, people calling her boring are weird. Himari is boring if anything

Impeccable taste but we already had Runako stealing the win, if Kanna also won this timeline would be too based.

While I don't want Lemon to win and it's such an obvious fakeout setup kinda like what's happening right now in Himari; there's atleast reason enough to see why she'd up back with Sunao and it'd still make sense.
Himari is just being forced into the winner slot despite the author himself saying she doesn't make sense is really unsatisfying and I guess it'll match whatever rushed end is being forced right now with this interminable confession being stretched out forever and the resolution being rushed.

>whatever rushed end is being forced right now
I'm 100% certain this series was axed when Someone Hertz proved to be a moderate success, but because the state of WSJ is so disastrous Ono was given the very rare opportunity to wrap shit up in a few volumes rather than a few chapters. I think they want to open up room in the magazine to throw more shit at the wall and see what sticks. Editorial at WSJ has been an absolute catastrophe.

>Why do japs have such shit taste in girls?
When they put out ASMR videos for all of the heroines, Kanna had as many views as Himari and Honoka combined. What's more, I'm pretty sure the chapters after she was rejected were actually the hardest hit the series has ever taken in the TOC across consecutive weeks. I'm pretty sure Kanna was the most popular with nip readers.

I didn't mean rushed end as in "the author only found out yesterday and his plans were ruined" but in the "Ono is a hack who was given enough time to close this out gracefully and instead planned everything poorly and now has to cram the final resolution" kind of rushed. The setup for the confessions with both Honoka and Himari have taken far too long and are once again repeating what we've seen time and time again.

Being the designed loser girl in a romcom has atleast some special powers: the main one being she's allowed to act like a human being and be affectionate towards the person she likes. She would pursue her romantic partner, communicate with him and express her desires to get to know him better.
It's not a wonder why people like Kanna when she was allowed to be a person instead of a weird tropegolem who bottles up every emotion word related to romance and instead acted like they had to be do disinterested in the MC on the punishment of death if they were found out.

A simpler way of putting it is that people like proactive heroines. And for some reason these romcom authors are allergic to letting the main heroine be proactive. There's a reason Mikarin was so massively popular. She was throwing herself at Masamune from minute one in all sorts of gratuitously overt ways.
>>
>>288588268
It's not just that she's pro-active, it's that she's also allowed to skip romcom pitfalls and annoyances because if she just won it would be "too easy"
>b-but how c-could I a m-man ever g-go into a g-girl's room alone!!
>HEY RETARD, I NEED HELP MOVING IN PLEASE GET THESE BOXES INSIDE AND THEN WE CAN HAVE SOME DINNER HOLY SHIT YOU STUTTERING LOSER

I'm going to feel like a fool for reading nearly 100 chapters of this fucking manga regardless of who wins. I'll just be a little happier if it's Himari because I don't care for Honoka or any character within her archetype.

True
Himari letting Iemori go, Iemori crying because he thinks Himari doesn't want him anymore
Kanai will lose because Iemori will realize he loves being Himari househusband
Photobook is released, big celebration for the new couple, epilogue featuring himaten newlyweds life (I don't expect to see himari pregnant) the end

I'm almost tempted to speed re-read it looking for moments when Himari actually likes Tenichi for Tenichi and not "an employee making my life easier"
Like the fireworks show at her home was the one big moment I can remember that was like "yea ok this would be a cute couple who complement each other" and I struggle to think of any other

It would be fun if they called it HonoTen for a couple of chapters. Then Hono loses and goes back to Hima for the final chapter.
There was a manga called The 5 brides of [name of the inn, I can't remember] and it was renamed The 6 brides of [...] when they added a 6th girl.
