Any copes for being an actual manchild?
In my heart all I really want is to not grow up, and to also have the past twenty years undone.
I want my old friends back, and I want the sense of security of having people looking out for me to be restored.
I want to play video games and draw, and I want it to be fun again.
All the Jordan Petersonesque self-improvement in the world will not make me happy, because I don't want it.
I don't want to be a big man. I don't want to drive a car. I don't want a career. I don't want to understand what they're saying on the news.

Being an adult or man child is not a matter of feeling but of action. It's OK to feel like a baby inside just make sure your actions are those of an adult. Most people feel younger than they actually are. I'm in my mid 30s with a job and my own kids and I feel 14-16 inside.

If you really wanted it, you would need no cope.
>I want to play video games and draw, and I want it to be fun again.
It will never be fun again. That ship has sailed and will never return.

Try to get on disability checks or some other form of welfare. The people who are enabling you today won't be around forever and in this society you need money or you die.

Yeah and a big step towards adulthood is to listen to the world and listen to what it wants from you and you are supposed to say to the world "Go fuck yourself."
That's adulthood. The minute you let go of outsourcing your identity to other people is the moment you have grown. You realize that if you do not make your own plans, you just become a part of someone else's plan. So find what you want, truly want, truly enjoy and plan around that instead.

I have disability. It doesn't make me happy though. I want friends and security, and I want to be allowed to be myself.

I want to turn back the clock twenty years, and have my old life back.

This is sort of possible. You can create the old life to go back to, one with innocence and childhood wonder and joy and safety and comfort. It's called becoming a father. You won't be the child recipient of the loving comfortable family home, but you will be the creator of one. And you get to enjoy watching your own son or daughter experience what you had for the first time. Or even better watching then experience a loving or safe childhood you never had.
Why else do you think people chase after family building? Did you suppose we did it out if masochism without a pay off? It's because if you want to turn that clock back, you need to roll up your sleeves as grab the hand of that clock and give it a nice big shove. Create the life you want.

None of us are OK with it. There isn't a single person I have ever met in my life who woke up one morning and said:
"Aw man, I really want to go confine myself to a place that isn't the comfort of my home for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! I really want to be expected to sit on an office chair and cramp my hands from typing or writing out paper work non stop in a busy loud environment, dealing with a multitude of strangers who may or may not be argumentative or rude, for a boss who really doesn't give a shit about me on a deep or personal level!"
People don't like work, no one does. What we like is the money that comes out of it, and the opportunities that money brings. Yes you can NEETbuxx, but you won't be getting a noteworthy vacation to a luxury location. You won't be getting a good home, you won't be getting a consistent stock of nutritious food in your cabinets, you won't be able to purchase whatever it is you want on a whim, and you won't be able to afford good presents for your friends or loved ones or family on their birthdays, on christmas, nothing of that sort. You won't be able to put down major savings down for your own older age, you won't leave behind a financial legacy. The best you can get is subscriptions to your anime services, gacha pulls for your anime games, junk food, and the occasional video game off of steam when it's on offer.

>okay, well I want to be a manchild, and still have people like and respect me.
instead of saying "i want to BE xyz", think about what you want to DO in your life instead, and what you want your life to look like

i disagree mate, bc the thing is if at least the jobs felt meaningful and worthwhile
but they dont, its like you described it, you are just an office drone doing bullshit, if you arent there nothing changes, just some other faggot will do it
even a robot could do it bc its so bullshit
and on top of it you even have to beg to even work nowadays
i feel like even as a slave in medieval times it was easier, you didnt have to beg to work and your work still kind of had a soul a meaning and you felt part of a community
i felt like a literal bot surrounded by retarded npcs who are all fake. the top positions arent given to top tier brain either, its mostly just nepotism etc
its like fake from top till bottom that just gets me

Yeah, I don't want this. Everything you said feels like an obligation and not something I would do because I actually wanted to.

Me too. I love going to the arcade on the weekends. They have awesome racing games. You can get a bouncy ball if you get enough tickets.
I'm sure the parents there just see me as some weird autistic loser but I don't care.
