u can do drastic changes to your life besides military, but that is one option
you could join a fishing boat crew or try that WWOOF program or something
the WWOOF program might be a good option if you're a druggie, and i've heard good stories from people who did it, you can meet interesting people that way

just reach out to a military recruiter man. hopefully u dont blow ur brains out while ur in, but its what u make of it even in civilian life. its easy to make friends while in, autism is in the backbone. i was once in ur situation, but now that im out of the military, life really is kind of the same as before, but i got benefits and solid step up from the rest of regular people. the military will set u up, if ur smart about it.

I've made my own community for my entire state for video game meetups. You just have to be the thing that you want to see in the world.

this is me but I will not be joining the military. I read in a book about my family that in the 1850s when some migrated from bongland to canada and opened up some mines that my family was the hub for community and get togethers in the whole area. Imagine that, a whole ass town, community, family, friends all getting together and I have not one single friend in this world.

I have my hobbies and interests but only one is social and involves going to local gigs, I can talk to people there but it never leads to anything, last time a dude recognised me but the conversation didn't last long as we didn't really click. I joined a discord for my local city but I have nothing to say to these people, I seldom truly click with people. Just is what it is.

Plenty of people out there manage to find a place and the right people and be happy... you just have to find yours, too. I know it's hard nowadays, since technology both made people closer, in a way, but paradoxically also isolated us, but there most certainly are other people out there you can get in sync with.

Getting desperate won't bring any solutions. Take it easy.
